    Farmhouse breakfast sandwich

Saw a ad on fb and surprisingly found one in my city. It's inside of Chapman university. Had to wait a good 10 minute for my order but understandable as they were busy in the morning. I got the farmhouse breakfast sandwich. It was amazing. Def wanna come back and try other food items.

There is usually an unnecessarily long line at this Einstein's because it's on a college campus. It's nearly impossible to get to unless you're a Chapman University student. There is a parking garage that fills up really quickly and you'll have to pay for a guest parking permit. The closest street is a few blocks away and without understanding which building it's in, it's hard to find. The staff is usually friendly, but I'm often there when they're training new people which makes the line go very slowly. I recommend the bacon, egg white, tomato, and avocado sandwich. It's $4.99 and most of the other sandwiches are in the $6-8 range. The coffee here is terrible. I once got a cold brew that had tons of coffee grounds in it. Their lattes always tastes burnt. The regular coffee is cheap and tolerable, but I highly recommend just getting coffee from two buildings over if you need coffee. This place isn't terrible if you're a student and need to grab a warm snack between classes (depending on how long the line is), but I don't recommend it if you're not already on campus.

Long nights with the Pizza Bagel???

Got the pizza bagel here so you didn't have to. Can't say it's the worst thing but it's essentially like going to a sushi place to buy pizza. Stick to buying just regular began and don't get too exotic with your choices. Now that being said, I have some pros and cons if you still wish to buy one. I got this when I was hungry, so anything at this point taste good. Now I didn't actually buy it but my friend gave it to me. It taste better hot (for sure) and I mean u get exactly what you had in mind: tomato sauce and cheese. But the ratio is definitely questionable. Too much cheese and too little sauce. But also like if you really want pizza, guys we have three places not too far from campus. Go to Blaze, Pizza Press or Zito's instead. Hell even the cafe! Better quality and choices of topping. I get that maybe time might be an issue but like I said, do you go to a sushi place to buy pizza. BECAUSE IF YOU DO, I THINK WE NEED TO TALK. With all that being said, it wasn't actually that bad but like I said, I was starving. If you on the fence about getting this, you probably don't want it. Buy something else...like the smoked salmon and cream cheese. THAT IS BOMB!

Nice addition to Chapman's Argyros Forum, aka Student Union. I am not a fan of bagels in general, but this place usually does not have a line and you can grab a quick coffee. The customer service is superb. It is located in the lobby of the newly remodeled Argyros Forum, on the other side of Jamba Juice. Bagels are AOK!

I am sad that their hours say open but they are closed. They are closed for the summer. I'll try them again in August or September.

The Food Burger - 5* I ordered the Hermanator & Sweet potato fries. Absolutely delicious burger, definitely top 3 best I've had. This was not too spicy, but it had great flavor and was cooked fresh. Fries - 5* The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. Crispy outside soft inside. Not too oily and the sweet potato flavor came through each bite. Onion Rings - 3* The onion rings were also great, but it was a bit too thick in the breading. Would've been nice to be thinner in the breading. Still good though. I mixed a bit of ketchup with Siriacha. Kicked the fries up a notch. Great for the burger too. The Cookie - 4* The cookie is soft and doesnt crumble. The chocolate could've been spread through the dough a bit more, but it was good and its now gone so it passed the cookie test! The Service Service was good and the food is made fast. The staff was very friendly, engaged in small talk, and made suggestions for new customers like myself.

Not thick at all and one piece in the entire burger. Like another review said they had to go searching for it. My picture shown is after I pulled it out half way into the burger. Price was steep at $19.95 for a double burger. (NO fries and NO drink, just the burger. No offense but I believe you should be blown away by the burger at this price, and I just wasn't. I didn't even finish the burger because the chewiness threw me off.

The firehouse decor and overall branding of Firehouse sets apart from so many other Quick Service restaurants that are redesigning to be more "professional" (I prefer the term "sterile"). Out of all the restaurants in this shopping center that I have patronized in my 23 years as a local, Firehouse Subs is my new favorite on account of great service, a charming ambiance, and an AMAZING product!

We got two hook and ladder subs, which is Firehouses' classic go-to sandwich: Turkey, honey ham, and Monterey Jack cheese melted with the basics: lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and deli mustard with a pickle spear on the side. While I was grateful that the store was able to substitute my ham for double turkey, I was actually upset, but I was unable to add any of the other add-ons to the sub (they said this wasn't allowed). We got our subs, I could not believe that I just paid almost $15 for what look like two kids size subs with barely anything in them. And that is what the coupon, mind you. Normally this would've costed almost $30 and then today's world, that's just insane . Service is good, it was a bit quiet there, clean restaurant. However, overall, I think firehouse needs to work on their price modelling because there's no way I'm coming back even with the Bogo offer.

I love everything else about…read moreCream Pan, but honestly, the line to select your pastry and the checkout is so UN-USER-FRIENDLY. The self service, pre-made lunch bentos, sandos and sushi area is fine, but once you need assistance from a worker, it starts getting ridic. How so? You speak to whomever is attempting to assist you OVER and UNDER a twenty-four year old counter area that holds the pastries and/or through a tiny hole in the cabinets. You can hardly make eye contact with the person, because all the pastry is in between where you are standing and where they are standing. Some people are tall, some short, but regardless, there is NO WAY to have a conversation with them. They are trying to see what exactly you are possibly pointing to in the case, but as noted, you're talking thru a case of pastry. This is also true at the Fountain Valley location, where they only have a very small counter to check out with many people standing in line trying to have someone collect their order from the back. HAS ANYONE HERE SEEN THE SELF SERVICE process at 85 degrees? All their pastry is individually wrapped and you calmly walk through the SELF SERVICE pastry area with a tray and tongs to help yourself. If you'd like to pass the person in front of you, it's easy and doable because there is plenty of room and it doesn't make anyone feel like you are taking "cuts". Once you get to the end, the cashier totals up your tray and puts it in a bag or box for you. Done & Done. Let me reiterate that your pastry and food are all above par and I know you've been in business since 2002 and let me commend you for 24 years of service, but it's time to CHANGE IT UP to a more user friendly process. It's not appealing to anyone in this busy day and age that there is a line out the door, ONLY BECAUSE THE PROCESS INSIDE NEEDS HELP! It's also more sanitary that the pastry and breads are wrapped ahead of time as I saw a fly inside the case today. Ugh.
