Great pancakes!…read more Breakfast here was a win. I ordered nothing but pancakes. Buttermilk pancakes and Chocolate Chip pancakes. So so good. They were fluffy, smokin' hot, and beautifully plated. These pancakes are huge too. The plate of pancakes come as a stack of 3. I had a single chocolate chip and added one of the buttermilk pancakes to it and that was still plenty. The server and hostess were very nice and the atmosphere was quiet. I'll be back for lunch :)

She called over a waitress, again just as charming and delightful as Julie and our orders were taken. Service was prompt, and at that point I felt like we were VIP! Everything was delicious, we ordered more drinks and despite the AZ heat it was comfortable sitting on the patio. There is plenty of parking and it's located on the corner. Great visibility! The food was really good, yet I feel like this was Julie doing a phenomenal job and of course our server as well

My husband and I are quiet people, so if we were to choose again, probably not here because of the loudness and all the TVs all over the place. But for those who like it loud, TVs and do not mind the prices on the menu, have at it. I don't remember our server's name. If she told us, I couldn't hear what she said. She was alright. Honestly, I had a hard time hearing even my son who sat next to me, and hearing my sister who sat one seat over in front of me, I couldn't hear what she was saying. Loudness is an issue for me and I do not have hearing issues. Our bill with tip came to over $700+. That was the most expensive lunch we've ever spent for our party of 14. Typically we're in the $400-500 range. But it was a special occasion. My husband and son got the 36 hr ribs. My husband really loved them. My son said it was okay. I didn't ask my brother and BIL who also got the same dish. I know my BIL was unhappy that he didn't get the side he requested and when they gave it to him (asparagus, I think), it was cold and he wasn't pleased about this. I got the hub burger and it was okay. There was a lot on the burger, but the patty itself, didn't have that much flavor. Some of the "Starters" or appetizers things were salted too much, but the burger did not taste like it had any salt. I had eaten too many starters so when my food came, I wasn't very hungry and took most of it home and ate for dinner another night. My husband and son do not like coleslaw and I ate theirs. THIS I really liked and tasted much better than KFC. I loved the sweetness and that the cabbage was shredded bigger than KFC. The pretzel bites were good. We got wings, and they were so-so. The roasted brussel sprouts were too salty. The deviled eggs were okay, but pricey for 2.5 eggs, which I do pay at Trader Joe's for organic free range pasturized eggs I could've gotten over 2 dozens. But, yes, I pay for the service and ambiance. I really thought there would be more than 5 halves for the deviled eggs. We got the nachos and they were okay. The melted cheese sauce was the best part. My mom got the fish and chips and she seemed to pick at it. She didn't want to take home, so it must not have been that good because she almost always takes a doggy bag home. My sister had the salmon and it was in a huge bowl and didn't look to be that much food. It was pricey. One of my SILs got something I didn't recognize and she said it was okay. No one I could tell was over the moon with the taste of the food and I heard the word "interesting" quite a bit. It's not that it tasted bad, but it didn't really taste good good. You know what I mean? I did bring a special order cake I got at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Gilbert. I asked Culinary Dropout if we could borrow a cake cutter. They didn't have one. Weird. This was a Red Velvet cake and this was absolutely divine. It was moist. The frosting was some sort of yummy cream cheese frosting. The cake was perfectly sized for our party of 14. The cake was the best part of our meal and it didn't come from Culinary Dropout. I would pay this much for a meal at Roy's for lunch for this sized party, but alas, all the Roy's in the valley are closed down. So sad. I'm not saying this place is bad or the food tastes bad. It's okay and pricey. If the food was great or amazing, we don't mind pricey. We have paid over $1K for meals for our big party, and happily do so when the food is equivalent to the price.

Went to Bagel Nosh in Gilbert for the third time and once again had a good experience. It's always nice finding a local bagel shop that's consistent. I paired a refreshing iced tea with a toasted salt bagel loaded with cream cheese, and it definitely hit the spot. The bagels here are a really good size and have that great chewy texture you want from a fresh bagel. The cream cheese was generous and complemented the bagel perfectly. My friend ordered the hearty egg white bagel sandwich on a cheese bagel with turkey bacon and really enjoyed it as well. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Another plus is the seating -- there are plenty of tables if you want to dine in and relax instead of rushing out the door. FRESH AND TRADITIONAL BAGEL SANDWICHES ! I've never had bagel sandwiches until a few days ago and oh my Lanta were they amazing! Looking for a breakfast joint this spot looked like it was going to hit the mark. There were a variety of sandwiches to pick from the menu. I was able to try their Nova Lux, Sonoran and Wildcat! The Nova Lux was a smoked salmon capers fantasy, the Sonoran tasted like a breakfast burrito and the Wildcat reminded me of a breakfast BLT. The bagels were all different flavors and all baked fresh! I stopped in here for the second time today to pick up breakfast sandwiches for people at work. They like the sandwiches a lot. I personally have not had one yet. What I will say is the staff in there is so friendly! Today the owner was there and we had a nice enjoyable conversation while our order was being made. I'm very particular about my bagels. And these people know bagels. You'll be hard pressed to find a great fresh bagel for a better price. The smear is excellent as well and compliments whatever delicious bagel you choose. Not to mention, some of the nicest owners and employees I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They obviously take pride in their work and it shows. I don't know why they picked a small town like this to sell their product, but I'm sure glad they did. read more

Love, love, love this place! My son just tried their french toast bagel and now he wants one every day! i have to admit, it does taste amazing. (every bagel flavor I have tried has been great!) You have to stop in here sometime. I went in this morning and ordered a few bagels with cream cheese bagels to go. You can taste how fresh everything is. Stopping in before the kids soccer practice on a Saturday to a packed house. The new owner is a thrill to watch thrive since those days and a part of me felt concerned when covid hit. I know it was brutal for her opening up a new business right before and trying to live up and perfect the craft! I even turned away for awhile in disappointment thinking our town lost a gem, Schmear. If it wasn't for the fact that for a long time this was the only place to get a bagel- I might have never returned, but this girl loves her carbs and a good schmear (NYC is heaven- of course) ! I came back to try every now and again just to get a fix. Einstein Bagels finally made their way into QC and it was definitely a reality hit of quality (hadn't ate there in years). I have yet to return to Einsteins . My favorites: the everything bagels are literally and deeply covered with robust rub, the chive cream cheese amazing, kids love the rainbow bagels, they carry macadamia milk for coffee, and you can grab a bag for $4 of the day old bagels! The bagel has a great yeast starter just about similar to the old Schmear! You can taste the variation. My only complaints: the hours (wish they opened earlier, coffee drinks are way too expensive, they upcharge on the bagel type and cream cheese, they need to expand and feature different schmears from time to time, my biggest concern is consistency. There's times I go in and my bagel was barely toasted, more like warmed bread, times where they barely put cream cheese on (frustrating when they upcharge for chive cream cheese and you got nada). The automatic tipping is starting to become ridiculous. We go in and order our food at the counter, wait for it and throw our own stuff away or even take it to go. There is no "service" and for them to request that we tip 15/20/25 percent at checkout is absurd. They aren't the only establishment doing it and I'm more than sure it's the pay system software they use- but our family is actually at a point to stop going to these places that do that overall. Or we will use an app and order ahead to bypass that awkwardness and pick it up because it's absolutely out of hand! Owners need to address this but they won't understandably as it's more money to them and their employees- for a time (like I said, we've stopped visiting a lot of places like this). If it wasn't for the macadamia milk- I wouldn't bother to buy coffee here. I don't think the coffee overall has a great taste but nonetheless when I stop in during the work week as a treat to myself I'll order just because of this option alone. You can't find many places that offer macadamia milk- yes, there's a $1 up charge for that too. The pistachio shaken espresso at switch brews is much preferred but they don't have great bagels, lol! The owner- she's adorable, sweet, and I love seeing her work side by side with her crew! That's leadership and I will always support that! Plus my daughter and I love her cute eccentric outfits! I feel like I'm in the city instead of bland suburbia. Thank you for jazzing up life around here!! The upkeep and seasonal decor is such a treat and also makes for a great visit too! Adorable decorations to fit the holiday or season and even fresh flowers- LOVE IT! It's those details that make the visit worthy. They carry several delicious options for gluten free diets. They have a few milk alternative options (no coconut milk). The quantity of coffee is a little small for iced coffee- but it is delicious and so good for your soul, lol! The quantity of food, though, is absolutely the most generous I have ever seen! Wait until you see the size of the desserts!! The dishware They use for drinks and food are simple and elegant. They make the food and drinks look like an advertisement. Simply beautiful. We love it here.

I just want them in a bag. The order process goes like this: go to counter, i would like these 4 kinds. each of my 4 bagels needs to be entered as a custom order - naked bagel not toasted. Then instead of that person placing 4 bagels in a bag and handing it to me, it goes to the back and waits in a long queue of other orders. Then 10 min later someone comes out of the back, and takes my 4 bagels from the front. They they walk back to put them in a bag. Then they place the bag in the window and ring the bell, so the person taking orders can hand them to me once they stop taking other orders. Why so complicated?? The strawberry cream cheese is really good.

Both were good but the everything bagel is the winner. Their everything bagel blend is so flavorful!! Now I get why I saw it packaged for sale as a seasoning mix. I like the jalapeño cream cheese but I think their scallion cream cheese is even better. You can get bagels as is, with cream cheese or butter etc and then they have breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I'll definitely need to try one of the lunch sandwiches soon! They're in the plaza off Southern, just west of Sprouts, with plenty of parking. Open until 1 or until sold out.

We arrived at 11:30 AM only to find the bakery completely closed with no explanation posted. If the business is still operating, updating the voicemail, website, and online listings would save customers a wasted trip and a lot of frustration. It's disappointing to make the effort to visit a local bakery only to find inaccurate information about whether they're open at all. It appears the other yelper took down their review.
