After Yelp posted a round up of bagel places, this was one of the five I visited in 7 days. It offered real bagels, soft and chewy. I ordered the Arizona Classic: egg, choice of meat, choice of cheese on any bagel. I appreciated the choice of cheese as I'm partial to pepper Jack. Not all of the bagel places I went to gave a choice of cheese. And I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with a side of honey nut cream cheese. For that particular cream cheese flavor I recommend buying a tub rather than a side. There were so many big pieces of nuts (walnuts?) in the side, there was little room for cream cheese. Also, the size of the side was in a cup smaller than some other bagel places offer. Bagel Nosh had some different flavors, such as a coconut pineapple Hawaiian, which will draw me back. Service was good. I know when you're busy, it's hard to remember to smile, but many customers (like me) appreciate seeing friendly faces. read more

Random find in a shopping center. This is the home of the chongo bagel. I will give them credit for this invention which was an everything bagel covered in cheddar cheese. If they would have toasted the bagel more. Then the cheese might have melted better and given me a better experience. One bagel with veggie cream cheese was about $3.50 which is average price. They are super expensive and they take forever to cook the food. They also burnt the garlic on one of my sandwiches and it tasted nasty. Delicious bagels!!! My friend and I went here for lunch one day and he ordered a turkey and I ordered just a plain sesame bagel. I had stopped by Fry's and bought some vegan cream cheese before going here so I was able to smear some of that on. The bagel itself was really good! I am so disappointed. This has been my favorite bagel shop even though it isn't exactly near by to me. I ordered 3 sandwiches, 2 payson melts and a veg out for me. I requested no ranch on one of the Payson sandwiches, and no tomato on the other, I also requested extra sprouts on the veggie. Sprouts isn't a topping many places offer so for that, huge bonus points. I returned home. One payson sandwich had no tomato or ranch, and the other had both. Due to allergy reasons, neither of these sandwiches could be eaten and were thrown away. My veg out sandwich didn't seem to have the extra sprouts I requested, but considering they were brown and slimes, I lucked out. I scrapped them off and ate the sandwich, fingers crossed the bad sprouts don't have a plan of revenge. My visit was just before closing or I would have called. Long story short, the owner is very rude like the other reviews are saying, and if you like bagels go to Bongiorno Bagels instead. And after hours of sitting on it, and reading previous reviews I decided that after all my years of working in food service and dealing with online pick up and delivery companies, Mason's behavior was disgusting and inexcusable. There are previous reviews saying hes racist, even though he isn't a caucasian man, that may very well be the case because the service I received from him as an African American woman is an embarrassment to the establishment. I ordered on Grubhub an Arizona Bagel Sandwich, and I live locally so I figured I would just grab it ob my way to work. When I picked it up, the cashier was a young lady who was nice, and I took it back to my car and realized there wasn't any egg on it. Not the end of the world, I've worked in food service for years and I understand things accidentally being left out of to-go orders. But for a $12 breakfast sandwich, I was not willing to just let that slide so I went back in and asked for an owner. Mason comes out after what felt like 3 minutes after I asked for him, and I told him that the egg was left off my sandwich and I wanted a refund, and showed him the half of my sandwich I brought from my car. He, very rudely states that he can't give me a refund. No apology no anything. And then says he can remake it with the egg. And I told him I'm on my way to work so I want a refund. And he says he won't give me one because I already ate half of it, like I was running some underground bagel stealing scheme. I told him I didn't, and that the other half was in the car. And he took the half I brought in and chucked it in the trash right in front of me, and told me to get the other half out my car. In all my years of food service, I have never seen anyone throw food they messed up in the trash, let alone right in front of the customer. It's classless to say the least. They messed up, and I was a paying customer who didn't want an eggless-egg and bacon sandwich, and I somehow got treated like I did something wrong. Disgusting. His tone, his demeanor was awful. And when I came back inside, he told me that if I want a refund to talk it up with yelp. So not only did this man argue with me about something his kitchen messed up, he threw food I paid for away and was not willing to refund me. I could have just kept it and complained to yelp and got my money back if I was looking for a free meal, but I was just trying to get breakfast and go to work. I can't threaten to no longer give them my business, because they never had it. But if I can dissuade at least one person from going here, thats a win in my book. Save your $10. Even more baffling is I had them slice the bagels for me and the employee didn't act as any sort of stop gap happily packing these undercooked bagels in my order. I called the the establishment shortly after and a girl whose name starts with a J. answered the phone. My family has been coming here since I was a little girl, and now turning 24 soon, it is great to see this place still open. However, I feel that the overall experience quality has gone down significantly. While the bagels are still by far the best in the valley, this no longer a quick breakfast stop. It used to be, and even on a packed weekend day you could still order and have your bagel in 10-15 minutes. They have since changed their ordering process and it takes so much longer to get your food even on the slower days. My family always just get a few toasted bagels to go, and recently my family and I have been waiting on orders for 25 minutes or more, and a few of the times it wasn't even busy. This is also not something I normally complain about, but only about 2 of the current staff are nice and personable, when it felt like a few years ago all the staff were super friendly and knew customers by name. I have been coming here for two decades so it would be nice to see some improvement in these aspects! The bagels are still a 10/10 though. Side note: the owner does not value criticisms and leaves unprofessional replies on people's reviews. read more

Tried this place for the first time. The older lady (not "old", just older than the other employees) that took and fulfilled our order was super energetic and friendly. The girl that was at the cash register, not so much -- she seemed like she didn't want to be there. My order came to $4.31, and I handed a $20, and said... I have the exact change also. She then says, "oh, I already punched it in"... I said, "that's fine, you just round up to the next dollar, to give me the full dollar in change"... she looked completely confused, but then succumbed and handed me back my change. I get to the car, and I have $15 back. Uh, should have been $16, but I guess she got an extra tip -- I had already tipped in my first transaction and then decided to get extra bagels from the discount rack. I didn't have the heart to go back and correct her. I see this happening more and more these days -- we can thank the government indoctrination that removes the ability of critically thinking (for many), or ability to do basic math ;) The bagels were really good! read more

I hate to write a review knowing there's other employees here who treat everyone fairly but it takes one bad apple. We even got apologies from a fellow employee repeatedly for how we were treated. "I'm so sorry I don't know why she's like that" "I truly apologize this is not ok" after an employee treated us poorly while taking our order acting like we were an inconvenience, the next customers after us were white and she served them with a huge smile and upbeat personality. That's when the apologies began. Too bad we won't go back to see if she's still there or not. Instead of the owner apologizing for the bad experience he's calling me a liar. We checked this place out on a Sunday morning. The place was very busy at 9am with a long line. The line moved really quickly. You could tell the staff were attentive and took pride in their work. We ordered the Sonoran sandwich on a Chongo bagel (everything bagel with cheese) and also ordered a garlic bagel with plain cream cheese. The bagels were delicious and good size for the price. We also ordered iced coffees which were very sweet and well priced. We will be returning here often! read more

The most amazing lox bagel I've ever had! They are generous with the amount of salmon they put on (more than any lox bagel I've tried anywhere else) and the actual bagel is so fresh and fluffy. A complete disappointment and waste of money. I don't really understand how places don't take pride in what they do. Almost like they are trying to drive business away. One of my complaints of many ( I don't want to put to much energy i to this review and waste much more of my time thinking about this place ) you ask for a toasted bagel with cream cheese on the side and it's like warm at best and when you take it back up to get it actually toasted you get looked at like you're a complete inconvenience. Do yourself a favor and drive 15 min west and go to The Bagel Man. Enough said To the owners comment.. I can understand but I have no affiliations with the owner of The Bagel Man. And if people are redirecting to other establishments, there is probably a good reason. Today most of your staff did not seem like they wanted to be there and were super unfriendly. Except the girl at the cash register she was the only friendly one. Maybe you should go check out these establishment and see what your missing. We used to love this place. The bagels are delicious and we loved ordering it on weekends especially when we had guests in town. This morning, however, we ordered delivery and our driver had spent over 30 minutes in the store being told that they were making our order. 45 minutes in he texts and says they refused to make their order because they were too busy. I can appreciate that they "closed" on the delivery system, but that does not change the fact that we had a confirmed order and waited over an hour and a half for a meal that would never come. Extremely disappointed with the customer service and will not be ordering from them again. Bagel Nosh - do better. EDIT: In response to below, my order was confirmed at 9:01 am.
