Nothing special, had lunch and breakfast here. They don't have real bacon for one. I didn't like whatever that meat was in my egg sandwich. More like fakin, had a weird taste. Average and over priced. The place is for locals and its a morning hangout before school for all the school kids. You will always see someone you know from the neighborhood in there. The bagels are too doughy and the place is pricey. Check your order because one more than three occasions I didn't get what I ordered. A bagel with butter is like eating a quarter stick of butter. How could a .90 cent bagel cost $3 with cream cheese? All the bagels taste the same, blah and bland. If you like greasy go here . The bagels here are usually pretty decent, although occasionally they can be overcooked. If you are ordering bacon or pork roll be aware that they don't serve pork here, they use beef and I personally don't like it. The breakfast sandwiches can sometimes be greasy. read more

This is one of the bagel spots we discovered through yelp that I would like to now frequent. My most favorite bagel spot is in North Jersey however it is not always accessible. After trying this location I felt that it was a good substitute for my hometown spot. It is much closer to where I live now and has a variety of different sandwiches, bagels, and spreads to choose from we were happy with our experience we definitely will be coming back again and again. They even let me choose one bagel and two spreads and put each spread on one half and cut the bagel in half for me. I appreciate the extra care and service! read more

I have come here at least five times. I noticed that if you don't order something as simple as a bagel with butter, the cooks are sure to get your order incorrect. The lines are very long due to the fact that they only have one cashier. They do have a variety of pastries and bagels to choose from. I've been coming here since 6th grade so this is easily my favorite, go-to bagel place in town. Their pork roll, egg, and cheese on a bagel or rolls are delicious. A little on the oily side, but bearable. They have a variety of cream cheeses. My favorite has to be the veggie or blueberry cream cheese. The veggie is delicious with an everything or plain bagel. My favorite combo is a blueberry bagel with blueberry cream cheese. Tastes delicious and looks aesthetically pleasing. I recently tried their rainbow bagel with funfetti cream cheese. They charge you a dollar extra for it so it's $4.75, but I believe it's cheaper than the one in Brooklyn. You get to beat the long lines and save yourself the travel! The funfetti cream cheese was sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet so the cream cheese wasn't overpowering. They are extremely generous on the cream cheese (especially if you're not getting the special cream cheese), so a lot of the time I tell them to put less cream cheese on my bagel. I have too many favorites here, but the last one I'd recommend is the French toast bagel. They seem to only have it on some days or they run out of it pretty quick, but it's definitely worth a try when they do have it! Overall, great service, friendly staff, and amazing bagels. read more

YUM! As a non-New Jersey native, I have always been extremely impressed with the bagel and deli shops of Central Jersey. Bagel Pantry is my favorite, by far. So much more seating, super inviting.. the decor is part coffee shop. It's a really sweet place to enjoy your morning coffee and bagel. I love that the garlic bagel has garlic on the top and bottom! This is one of the most authentic NY style bagels in the area. I docked a star b/c the sausage they use for the sausage egg and cheese is more hotdog style sausage instead of real pork sausage . How do you know a bagel shop has great bagels? When you buy a bagel from somewhere else and they just don't compare. After 18 years of eating bagels from BP, I am spoiled for life. As a big plus, the shop is owned by a family very involved in the community.
