My favorite bagels on LBI! I've been visiting Bagel Shack since I was little and it has never failed to disappoint. Whether you're ordering a pork roll and egg sandwich or a bagel with a simple spread, they've perfected it. Their bagels are soft, yet have a slight crisp to them. I'm from north jersey so I know my bagels, this spot is pretty average for a good doughy crunchy bagel. My boyfriend and I got here around lunchtime and got two bagels. We got a Taylor ham egg and cheese and a sesame with veggie cream cheese. Both were a bit underwhelming. The amount of cream cheese on my bagel was almost non existent, definitely wished there was more. Though I will say that the veggie cream cheese itself had a great flavor. The good thing about these sandwiches is that they're small and not too overfilling so it's not a bad idea to bring to the beach. Though I'd probably go with a different choice myself. I'll probably be back because my boyfriend loves this place and I think I'll try some of their Mexican specials instead. The staff was very friendly and everything was out quick. read more

The Bagel Shack is a happening place. I presume for the traditional style NY bagels they offer. They have a nice selection for such a small shop. I had the everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. I liked the bagel but I prefer my bagel shop back here. It is a bit on the doughier side but gets the job done. The iced coffee was just ok. I would try their other drinks next time. There are a few pastries for sale and tons of sandwiches and lunch fare. Next stop to the beach we will try a few more. read more

Cute spot that was recommended by locals. They offer all the staple bagels and cream cheese options in addition to strawberry and olive cream cheese. I stopped by close to closing time and was happy that there were still bagels available. Ordered the everything bagel with olive cream cheese - which was delicious and just what I was looking for. I got a salt bagel with garlic cream cheese, it was really good and I loved it! Although my boyfriend got the Bacon, Egg, and cheese, on a french toast bagel. food is always good but I'm writing this review while i wait for my food as it's been about 25 minutes. They're very disorganized and seem to put online orders at the front of the line regardless of order number. approaching a half hour and only 4 in person orders have actually gone out. I understand busy but this is crazy nothing is going out and someone was waiting for order 10 when they were calling orders 23 and 24, turns out it was ready the whole time. read more

Great bagels and sandwiches. We often get wraps or sandwiches for the beach there. My favorite is an egg white wrap with spinach, mushrooms and Swiss. Ordering online and picking it up makes things much quicker. Note: their online order for sandwiches comes with lettuce, tomato and onion so if you don't like that be sure to mark your online order to remove it. read more

We ordered a dozen bagels with spread, two pork roll egg cheese sandwiches, and a hash brown. Our Dasher shows up to explain that the store said everything "wasn't paid for". Already disappointed that I'd have to contact Doordash customer support, the pork roll sandwich was quite disappointing in taste. I was unable to eat the hash brown as it had some kind of plastic or silicone aftertaste to it. read more

Cashier was extremely rude (early 20s blonde curly hair) she was making rude remarks then made faces about us to her co-workers. We then had to wait over 20 minutes for our food. People who ordered the same things as us andgot there food before we did. When she handed us the food she made a face. Very disappointed. read more

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. do not order a gluten free bagel at this place. they took the gluten free bagel, placed it directly on the counter where they cut the regular bagels with the same knife they cut the regular bagels with. I mentioned that wasn't ok, they said oh, well if you have an allergy, if you got a sandwich, we would send it to the back. I said, if you cut it on a separate surface (like a plate) with a clean knife, it would be fine. I just don't want it rubbed in gluten. All of the staff said that oh, well, this place has gluten all over it, we can't do that. Train your staff better, and teach them better customer service. shame on you. read more

Great place in Beach Haven with lots of options. They have a variety of bagels and for the Jersey Shore they're pretty good, not as good as a New York bagel but way better then bakery or the dreaded Dunkin' bagel (please). They have lots of options from cream cheese spreads to egg, Cheese & meat sandwiches. Yes they have Taylor Ham. If you're not a fan of bagels you can also get a wrap. The coffee is good and they have seating outside. You can even call in your oder ahead and pick it up at the window. The people working there are very polite and work fast to get your order completed and the prices are pretty good for LBI. read more

Good bagels for Long Beach Island. But there SOOOO overpriced. Two bagels for $16 are you kidding me? Go to NYC and u can get a bagel for 2.50 with anything you want on it . This place has a horrible system and have to wait on one line and then another line just to get a overpriced egg sandwich. The bagels are still good, but my 3rd purchase of the week was for 4 bagels. Just in a bag-not sandwiches. This should take about 30 seconds. I was charged & paid for 4 bagels, but when I got home there were only 3 in the bag. I knew I couldn't get back in time before closing so I called...but they don't ANSWER the phone. I am a bagel addict. I know the best bagels. This bagel was so immaculate and flavor bursting. The perfect size I was not bloated. Bagel was fluffy and amazing. Decent little bagel shop. Fairly affordable given it's on a tourist island on the east coast. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was good, but nothing to write home about. Coffee was decent, but also nothing special. They've got a few other things on the menu too like omelettes and burritos. The service was efficient and staff were friendly enough. Small joint. If it's busy you'll probably wait outside, which is isn't a problem if the weather is nice. They have a cozy, clean, outdoor seating area that is shaded with nice tables. read more
