Listen up other Atlanta area bagel places, if you want to see how to make a real NY bagel, come here, because most of you are doing it wrong. This has quickly become my go to place for bagels and is like a portal opened up in an Atlanta shopping center that leads to a bagel deli on Queens boulevard. Even the inside is authentic New York. The schmears are excellent, as are all the sides like whitefish, sable, latkes, chopped liver, herring, chubbs and more. I don't get why people say not good service, it's just quick and east coast style, not rude IMO. read more

Best bagels in Atlanta. I tried every single place and there was no contest. Coming from south Florida, I know a good NY bagel. My go to was everything bagel with tuna. But the home fries are so good too. Everyone I brought here loved it too. They only take cash. Don't expect frills, or anything fancy. This place is very basic, and the service isn't always great. The fact that it's called Bagelicious really says what it should be all about... delicious bagels... and that they have. I've had few bagels in Georgia that are as good as the bagels here. They are pretty perfect. The cream cheese selection is pretty wide, and super fresh (the veggie cream cheese always tastes like the veggies were chopped just minutes ago). I can't recommend anything else here in good faith, because everything else here is pretty mediocre. I've tried the french toast (kind of soggy), I've tried the pastrami omelet (weirdest omelet I've ever had in my life... it was more like a folded-over egg wrap with some pastrami in the middle), I've had eggs here (nothing out of the ordinary).... but would you really come to a place called "Bagelicious" and intend to eat something other than a bagel? Probably not. If that was your plan, you might want to re-prioritize your life a little. The lox is PHENOMENAL. If lox is your bag, you really have to try it. It makes me all giddy. Make sure you have cash! They don't take much else. I'm always a little disappointed that I have to carry cash to come here, but the bagels and cream cheese are of such good quality that I don't cry about it for too long. One of if not the best bagel spot in Marietta, family owned and friendly staff. Has been around forever, you walk in and feel like you have walked into a new york bagel shop, their bagels are solid quality, portions and their cream cheese is fantastic. The only things I wish would be they took card (cash only) and that they would expand and open a shop over near lassiter high school area. Definitely worth trying it out. read more

Bagelicious is a standard in East Cobb, and if you're not looking for it specifically, you'll miss it. We've been coming here for years to get awesome New York style bagels. The menu has a great mix of breakfast and lunch items that are all served all day long. A favorite is the American omelet. For $7, you get a 3-egg omelet with roasted potatoes and a bagel. But you won't go wrong with any of their specialty sandwiches either. Service here is good considering the crowd. They're hustling to get as many people in/out as possible, all while giving you personal attention. I've been on a non-crowded day, and service is outstanding. Be patient when you walk in. It's first come, first served when it comes to getting a table. Generally people are very accommodating and understanding. Check it out when you're in the area. read more

Simply put...they guys rock! Best NY bagel going...in metro Atlanta....I have had a bagel breakfast with them for several times a week for years now. The everything bagel toasted with cream cheese on both sides in a bag to go! They do offer a full menu and my kids love the place...great place for a family breakfast and the prices can't be beat for what you get. Service is always warm, friendly and fast. LOVE this place! Hardly a week goes by that I do not eat here. My family goes every Sunday, and it is so nice to go somewhere and be remembered and have your drinks brought to you when you sit down. We never need menus, because we all have our favorites we get just about every week. Mine is the chicken salad, with a honey wheat bagel and strawberry cream cheese. The egg salad is also amazing. If i am a little more hungry a go for the Passion bagel (turkey, Swiss, tomato and mayo in a bagel), or lox on a bagel (with onion and capers!). For someones first visit, I often recommend the french toast, made with Challah bread. It is AMAZING. I could say that about everything on the menu though. Bagelicious is one of my favorite places to eat in East Cobb. The waitstaff is friendly and personable, and always make eating there fun. i will defiantly be there this Sunday. read more

We go every weekend. Love, love, love the bialys. Just branched out for lunch and started with the Johnny's Hideaway bagel sandwich (garlic bagel) and a side of pasta salad and an extra side of macaroni salad, it was so good neither of us spoke while we were eating. They open at 6:00 am, but the Jalapeno bagels were not out of the oven until just after 7:00 am on a Sunday morning, when I arrived. Really nice hot, soft bagels. $3.82 (including tax) for 4 bagels. One customer getting custom service for selecting his deli items at that early hour, and one other customer came in for bagels. Really nice when the place is quiet. This place has super quick service and delicious food and clean restrooms. We love it here, it almost feels like home in NY. My son and I discovered Bagelicious on 8/12/21 and were thrilled. The bagels are awesome as are the Black and White cookies and ruggies. Glad I had cash on me that day as I rarely carry any. Especially when driving in metro Atlanta. My only regret was that I found that they carry half-sour pickles and my sweet husband who loved those pickles passed away in late July. I love this place. Had friends in from NYC, who couldn't believe how authentic & delicious the lentil soup was. Best whitefish salad, and wonderful bagels. Just love the hamish atmosphere! Update: There must have been some changes in the kitchen this last year because the wonderful, sweet, delicious challah hasn't been as tasty or as moist as it used to be. Honestly, Bagelicious's challah was the best in Atlanta. Now it's dry and tasteless. Also, the Whitefish Salad used to be really excellent, with big chucks of Whitefish and just enough mayo to bind it. Now it's more like Costco's, which isn't bad but it's more like tuna salad, more homogenous and more mayo. At Costco it's fine, but to Pay Bagelicious price it should be way better. Or why bother. On a positive note... Bagelicious carries the most amazing fresh Rugalah they call Chocolate Buns. They are bigger, denser, more chocolatey and much closer to cake. Not as crumbly . It's unpretentious and simple, the staff is generally attentive, and the food is solid. I love bagels -- I get the "everything" bagel with chive cream cheese, usually with a couple eggs. We were craving bagels for a weekend morning and Bagelicious came recommended by another yelper. We arrived at 11:30 and the restaurant was packed with a line of customers waiting for a table. We were on a mission to get bagels and cream cheese. We ordered one whole wheat-everything bagel with lox and another plate of whole wheat-everything bagel with pastrami and eggs (from their breakfast menu). When our food arrived, 15 minutes later, we were surprised that the pastrami comes in the omlette rather than topped on the bagel. (They have another section for bagels with various toppings like chicken liver, tuna, pastrami, and etc, I believe that option might have been better for what we were looking for.) We are not from NY and unfamiliar with New York delis with their bagels but this place succeeded in serving fresh bagels and satisfied our craving. The whole wheat everything bagel was pretty good but I'll come back to try the regular bagels. Our server was very friendly and even offered to give me a serving of schlox (lox and scallions) because I couldn't decide. I am glad she let me try both because I actually liked schlox better than lox. The prices are very reasonable. This is the place to go for good bagels; be prepared to wait for a table and the food on a weekend because they get busy, always a good sign. One of the two best bagels in Atlanta (BB's is slightly better) and it's 5 miles from home so it's our go-to bagel shop. The pastrami (hot) on a toasted Everything bagel was delish. The smoked whitefish is also outstanding. I've had the whitefish spread as well as the chunked variety. You might find bagels that are as good elsewhere in the country but not any better. It's well worth the inconvenience of not being able to use your debit or credit card. Located in a large shopping center so parking is no problem. Service friendly, atmosphere very casual, bathrooms clean and modern. Owner is a little league baseball coach - there are banners from all of his teams on the wall as well as a shrine to the NY Yankees (evidently he grew up in NYC). read more

We have ordered bagels, spreads, etc from Bagelicious many times and like their food. However, I recently called in a takeout order for a family get-together, picked it up, and was told that Bagelicious only accepts cash or checks and DON'T ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS. Since I didn't have the sufficient amount, I was told that there is an ATM in the rear of their store that I could use. Of course, there was a charge of $3 for a withdrawal, but I was stuck so paid it. While reviewing my bank account info, I found that both my bank AND the Bagelicious ATM had charged me $3 for the transaction. I had to call my bank and get the second charge reversed. What a pain in the rear! Last time I'll shop at Bagelicious! Beware next time you go there. read more

When I'm this side of town, (Marietta), this is my favorite place for deli and their wonderful bagels. It's a small place and always very busy but the waiters always find us a table. My favourites are: white fish as a salad or on an everything bagel, or a tongue sandwich (on an everything bagel). They have had a well known deli open just down the street, (Goldbergs Deli) from them, but I still go back to my favorite. read more

We made a horrible mistake coming here as a larger party: the tables are first come first serve, but the wait staff are the only ones who can move tables for larger parties, and you have to wait until your whole party is there to sit down, and there is not waiting area. So we were told that we had to wait to be seated (but no one took our names or anything) while other people went around us to sit at the tables wait staff told us we could sit at... When our party showed up. It was just annoying. Either seat everyone with a host or don't! And stop promising tables that you clearly couldn't reserve. Aside from that serious annoyance, the food was pretty good. I got a pizza bagel- it was just warm when it came out, like it had been sitting on a tray waiting for the rest of my table's order. They were out of salt bagels and several other items and that was disappointing because they had only been open for an hour when we arrived. Honestly I would probably eat there again, but next time I'll keep it to 4 people or less. Also, hit up the ATM because they don't take plastic. read more

Bagelicious certainly is a top level deli, serving traditional Jewish deli food. They don't take credit or charge cards, and have a very minimal website. All of this is born of their success that has resulted in their having "chutzpah" on steroids. Don't go on a Saturday or Sunday morning unless you have plenty of time. We sat for 20 minutes awaiting our I orders. They appear to favor take out customers while table service is slow. read more
