Decent little bagel shop. Their options of bagels and cream cheese was pretty limited compared to other bagel shops but I assume this is because they have other pastry and drink options. The tablet to order on is a little confusing. When you select a bagel to order you have to choose how toasted you want it, if you want it sliced, if you want it scooped if you want cream cheese etc. It is all too complicated when all you want is a bagel with cream cheese. Came here because a client brought in their bagels and was delicious. So I came in on a weekend. Ordered 3 bagel sandwiches, half dozen bagels, two cream cheeses, pastry, and cheesecake. Bagels and cream cheeses are good, yes. If I ever come back, just stick to that 1) ran out of some types of bagels. And I get that happens, and since it's hard to update inventory on the kiosk, they'll run out of studf. So the staff just asked me which ones I wanted, that's okay. But they had to charge me $2 extra because I had selected half dozen plain but I wanted variety so that's the premium. BUT...the kiosk gave me the option to select what flavors and it doesn't have any description. So maybe update the software to not allow selecting of flavors? No the fault of the staff, but laziness on owner for using the kiosk and not making sure it orders accurately. 2) took forever. I get it not being a fast food, but you are also a counter service and not a sit down restaurant. 30-40 minutes to make two ham,cheese,avo sandwiches and 1 avo sandwich? It barely needs any cooking. It's not about rushing you, it's about you needing to know how to run a restaurant more efficiently. 3) worse of all ...the cheesecake was MOLDY! there were 3-4 single sliced and packaged cheesecake. My kid wanted it so we got it. Luckily I checked the orders and noted two mold spots on it. When I asked the staff, she did admit it might be mold. When she checked on the rest of the cheesecake, ALL of them had mold, one of them had a huge mold spot that was the size of a dime. She said these are not made in house, so she's not sure when it came in. Seriously? Put a date on it to help you remember, or at least check it daily if you are going to put it back out day after day. While I was waiting for my order, I've heard two others stating that their orders were wrong. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their bagels but I do suggest ordering the Avocado Bagel, which comes with avocado, eggs, sweet peppers, and pickled radishes! The acidity, sweetness, and saltiness of it all works so well. I think they can really upgrade their menu by incorporating more fresh and flavorful veggies. However, I didn't really need the side of potato salad, in fact I thought it was very lackluster. Eating it a while later, I actually found a twist tie mixed into the salad. Someone might have worked on it too quickly.. I really loved the pastry I had with almonds and matcha. Unfortunately, I don't remember the square pastry's name. It's something I would definitely get again since not many bakeries or cafés sell these. I'm not a huge fan of the environment as a place to eat. It's small and can be crowded on a weekend. Bageloo is a local bagel shop in the city of Diamond Bar. I have been here a few times and would say this bagel spot is quite healthy and they take pride in making fresh bagels daily. I had the Californian which is tomato and avocado on cream cheese. I got a jalapeno and cheese bagel. The bagel itself was good but something about it doesn't compare to a New York-style bagel. A great bagel / coffee spot to go to on a day you need to be energized and hit the ground running! The speciality lattes were delicious. I opted to try the strawberry Neopolitan latte and it had such a great flavor, but still strong in coffee content. We also ordered a lox sandwich bagel. It's hands down one of my favorite, if not most, bagel spots, from great coffee to smoothies and bagels. They got it from your typical turkey bagels to lox and just anything you'd want. If you are more open and want to make your own, they have a variety of delicious cream cheese and bagels. The bagels take very long to get and normally I'm pretty patient however today I came in very early and ordered on the kiosk where I was seemingly the first to order. 20 minutes roll by and my bagel is nowhere in sight and they're making other peoples food, by this time I had to go or I would be late to an appointment. I honestly just think that if the food is taking forever at least be nice about it. Typically I wouldn't comment on it but I was very annoyed by her rude attitude, if you're gonna be rude at least make the food quick. I was hoping to find some really good jalapeno cheese bagels because I saw some reviews talking about them. Came here on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy inside. Most of the tables had people. They have a display of the available bagels and by the time I came there were few options left. I can't recall what time I was there but I'm going to say it was 1130/12. They have a cashier and a screen to order which helps with ordering. However, it seems like the two don't check their inventory because I overheard a few customers called up to say some of their bagels are sold out and they need to pick another flavor. Back to the jalapeno cheese bagels, they were just ok for me. I wanted more of a kick. I've had better. I would say their bagels are really soft and fresh though so there's that. Here we go again... Lol My cousin stopped by for a bagel and asked me if I wanted anything. I decided to try the Veggie Sandwich yet again, and to my disappointment it was even worse this time. I've ordered this sandwich for years and it always came with a Sundried Tomato spread. However, the last time I ordered it came with regular mayo. This time it came with a thick layer of cream cheese on each side? It was disgusting. I like toasted bagels with cream cheese, but I'm not a fan of cream cheese in sandwiches and too much cream cheese grosses me out. Something tasted off with the lox cream cheese though, I scraped it off instead of asking for something else. The Lavender Honey Latte was okay, might have been better if I went with the standard whole milk, but I switched to almond milk. Been going here for a while now since I used to work a couple blocks down. Unfortunately the last few times I've gone it seems that they're always understaffed and the wait is usually pretty long. The bagels and other foods generally are pretty good, but what unfortunately knocks them down is their pour over. They go through the trouble of roasting and having good selection of beans to only have the brewing process ruin their coffee. Recommendation to the business is to not offer pour over until you are properly staffed or the staff has been trained properly. Maybe even move to something that is easier and require less attention like a clever dripper or hario switch. My $6+ Yemen pour over had grinds floating at the top and once I poured the rest out, had lots of fines at the bottom of the cup. This is just sloppy work and made the cup of coffee astringent and very unpleasant. My mistake for ordering this when they've been busy... but really the business shouldn't offer something they're unable to do well. read more
