Came on a late Friday morning. Parking was easy and there's some outdoor seating. Bagels were pretty standard. I got an egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. Good quality control, every bite had an even distribution of ingredients. Nothing was out of place, but also nothing was inherently amazing. Service felt a bit unenthusiastic, however. The corner of Diamond Bar Blvd and Grand is the four corners of coffee shops in Diamond Bar. I had not been to Bageloo until yesterday, and remember it at another café awhile back (never visited) but the coffee shops at this intersection have gone through a few owners and locations. For a Saturday morning, Bageloo was quite busy. My family and I used to go to Julie's Café for bagels but there is still a bit of competition for Bageloo as Julie's has since become Reborn Coffee (first location in Brea). There are 2 registers, one to the left of the display case, and another right on top of the bagel display case. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato and my friend order a Pour Over (Costa Rica). I almost never order sweet coffee drinks but decided to try it. We weren't sure which pastry to order, so we asked what the cashier would suggest and she suggested the Pain au Raisin. We asked to have the Pain au Raisin to be cut in-half and on a plate so we could enjoy it with our coffee. Once drinks are prepared, they have someone call your name and bring it to your table. The pastry took a bit longer for some odd reason. There are napkins and etc. in the corner of the store, to the left of the entrance of the door. Even if you order the drinks "for here," they serve the drinks in to-go cups, which I was not a fan of because of the paper and plastic waste. I guess they are saving on water instead? The ambiance looked crowded with the tables all situated somewhat closely but overall, worked really well because there was enough space in-between each table. There were also seats outside, along with patio umbrellas. We were there for awhile and they even brought us a Blondie bar to test try run. It was warm, moist, and very delicious! Both of us would most definitely consider purchasing the Blondie bars here if they decide to start selling them. There is plenty of parking in the lot and is a great place to catch up with friends over delicious pastries, coffee, and bagels! read more

Really wanted to like this place, it's been around forever so I assumed they had something good going on. But it just took SOOOO long to get 2 bagel sandwiches. There were 4 workers on a slow Sunday afternoon, maybe 5-8 customers total, maybe half had already been served. After we ordered, I could tell there were 2 parties who had been waiting a while, they seemed to be contemplating asking the workers where their order was. I was low-key worried about this place during the pandemic, so each weekend - when possible - my sister and I would line up to order whatever they had to offer on a Saturday. They slowed down on the pastries during the height of the pandemic, but we ordered whatever pastries they had in the case - both in pastry form and in sliced cake form- and or bagel sandwiches. They also offered a delicious clam chowder during the pandemic (bring it back!), but not anymore. We took what we could get. Don't get distracted by the pastry case - the refrigerated section always has slices of pie and cake + there's cream filled puff pastries as well. Fast forward, and your girl Bageloo is back - the last time I went, they had a generous spread of pastries (come quick because they sell out fast) and they were up and running with new employees. I am so grateful that this place made it out alive because times are tough and as a community, we need to mindful to invest in what we love. This is definitely the spot for a quick delicious savory breakfast and latte. Little cafe located in a small shopping center is my go to every time I am in Diamond Bar. The name Bageloo is so cute first of all! Food: We ordered a sausage egg bagel sandwich, salt bread, and a caprese pastry. The sandwich was pleasantly chewy and the egg was cooked well. My standard for salt bread is so high. I thought the salt bread was flavorful, but I wish it was served warm. The caprese pastry has sun dried tomatoes and olives. I really liked it but I wish the tomatoes were cut into smaller pieces. When I bit into the tomato, the entire thing just comes off the pastry so it's a bite full of tomato and little bread. There's only two tomatoes on the pastry, so I think it should just be chopped up so every bite can have some tomato. Drinks: I got a vanilla latte with oat milk. It was strong and smooth. I loved it! I love how they make everything fresh daily. My friend's avocado bagel was almost too pretty to eat. Almost. We both loved our dishes! We also shared a berry tart because their pastries looked too good to pass up. We thought it was okay, a little disappointed considering how good their bagels are.
