    a bagel and two donuts

Maybe it's the "Z" in "Bagelz" or the fact that this is located in a strip mall in South County, but I've found these bagels to be just meh. I tried the whole wheat and everything bagels with the baggie cream cheese and lox. Cream cheese was really good - had real veggies in there that gave it a real crunch. That being said, the bagels taste like they were ordered from Stop and Shop and lack the freshness that I was hoping for from a more traditional bagel bakery.

Stopped early on a Saturday morning while out shopping for groceries to finally use my free small coffee coupon (with the purchase of $1 or more). I had previously been to Bagelz at the URI campus so was excited to see this spacious location in the heart of Wakefield. This location is large with ample parking right out front, lots of seating inside, and even patio seating when the weather permits. I was surprised upon entering to see how big it was inside. A cute and cozy cafe! Now the bagels, wow! These are the best bagels that I've had in the area. They are fresh, chewy and overall make a delightful breakfast. Top with cream cheese or build a sandwich, and you have a satisfying morning meal. We ordered two bagels both with cream cheese, a small (free) coffee and a bottle of water for $5. My boyfriend said the coffee was very good as well. We'll be back for fresh bagels!

My go-to afternoon pick me up: a sugar free red bull from their drink cooler with strawberry syrup over ice.

Best bagels in town (hard to only buy one). Coffee is pretty weak, BUT they have Nitro coffee now and it's delicious!

I like that we add our own milk and sugar to the coffee. But I think it's time for new seating. Those chairs are old!

Yes, get here early especially in tourist season to beat the crowds, and order ahead if the option is available. They do sell out so check their instagram/facebook first to make sure they haven't yet. My current go to is a plain or sesame bagel toasted with butter and a little hot honey. When I am more hungry, I go for the sweet Lou with no cheese or the Hot Boi with no cheese and cream cheese on the side. The eggs are local and everything is cooked perfectly. The everything bagel is a little too salty for my tastes, but friends love it! My boyfriend is incredibly picky about bagels but if I come home with no bagel for him he gets in his feelings--it's that good. I'm so happy to see The Flour Shop thrive here in Pawcatuck. They started off with humble beginnings and it's been great to watch them grow and expand. Staff is always kind, even with the stress of the tourist season. Check this place out!

This hidden gem is already going viral in real life, and after my visit, I completely understand why. Be prepared to wait (the line stretched out the door and wrapped around the building) but don't let that scare you away. It moves pretty fast. It's absolutely worth the wait. And that says a lot coming from an impatient New Yorker that hates to wait. Inside is small and can get pretty crowded, but there are a few outdoor tables if you'd rather enjoy your food outside. Parking was surprisingly easy, with a decent-sized lot. The service was just as impressive as the food. Owner Hannah was wonderful to chat with and clearly passionate about what she's built. Alyssa, who took my order, was incredibly patient and helped me narrow down the menu with fantastic recommendations!! I tried the #3 Sweet Lou on a jalapeño bagel with cream cheese, and it was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The cheddar scallion bagel with regular cream cheese was light, flavorful, and had just the right amount of crisp on the outside. I also had the Meemers BLT on a margarita bagel, which was absolutely delicious. For drinks, I ordered the Cookie Butter Cold Brew with cold foam and the Banana Bread Latte with caramel and cold foam. Both were incredible and packed with flavor. (I usually don't even like cold brew) From the exceptional service to the outstanding food and drinks, everything exceeded my expectations. The Flour Shop Bagels & More absolutely lives up to the hype and is a must visit if you're looking for one of the area's best breakfast spots. They are absolutely on my list of favorites now!

They have tons of options to concoct a breakfast or lunch sandwich on a bagel of your choice. Their coffee is delicious, too! I love their white cheddar cheese and will often order a sandwich with that and egg on an everything or the rare, coveted, absolutely divine Asiago bagels they offer. Truly Heavenly! I've never brought someone here for a cozy breakfast meal and had them not enjoy it. Located on the main drag with lots of street parking, it's easy to have a slow, small town morning mozying to the nearby gift shops and restaurants after your stop here. I really shouldn't rave so much because it's already so packed...but there are my 2 cents!

This shop has a great location, right in the center of downtown. The bagels were very yummy. I had a salmon, cream cheese, tomato, and capers sandwich. My spouse had a pepper turkey, cheese, and some other things sandwich. The kids had poppy seed bagels, toasted with butter. Everyone was happy! Some of us had brought water bottles with us, and others had drinks from the chiller case. You order at the register, give your name, and then they call it out from the counter to the right when it's ready. Very easy! Warm and welcoming staff! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. My one qualm with the bagels is that they use corn meal on their peels/board/sheets. Corn meal acts as ball bearings to slide dough more easily, but corn meal also burns easily! So, although my sesame bagel had the a great chew, it had a ring of burn on the bottom. I'd love for Bristol Bagel Works to try switching to semolina flour -- still great for the sliding, but it won't burn until a higher temperature!

I've been here now on two occasions and both times was overwhelmingly satisfied with the wares offered. I can't speak for the coffee, as I'm not a coffee drinker. But the pastries are out of this world! So far, I've had the Fig Tart, and the Pistachio Cheesecake which was to die for. I'm hoping this cafe can make a go of it as Narragansett is pretty devoid of good bakeries in that end of the town. The bakeries near the shore tend to be tourist traps with mediocre offerings, indifferent staffing and exorbitant prices. Galleria Dolce is a welcomed breath of relief from these other shops. If you're in the area, I give it my highest recommendation.
