I'd ordered the Gardener, which was delivered without the avocado that is specifically listed on the menu, and which I wanted. My husband ordered the smoked salmon sandwich on an everything bagel, NOT toasted. His order included all of the elements, but the bagel was toasted. He hates warmed cream cheese, but did love the side of pita chips his came with. Still, the iced coffee was as good as usual (even in the off season) and the indoor space remained cozy, with several options for seating (high tops, low tops, and easy chairs). There are a few outdoor tables for when the weather is right. We've sat out there, and the plants around the entry patio really help create some distance from busy route 102 which is right out front of the deep driveway/parking area. One of the perks (get it, a coffee pun!) of now being a regular. Always friendly service, the coffee has consistently been fresh - I can't imagine how it wouldn't be as the place is cranking out coffee all morning. Another huge plus is that they know about my weakness for blueberry crunch donuts and usually have them in stock. The food is consistently made messily, bagels and donuts are often stale, beverages are unmixed and made to the bare minimum of quality. My most recent visit, I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, toasted dark. The bagel not only was barely toasted, but the texture of the bagel was only describable as biting into arsenic-laced drywall. And management? An absolute authoritarian nightmare. The manager, confirmed to me by a current employee of the store, consistently plays favorites amongst crew members (reprimanding others for things she allows with her 'favorites'), and retaliating against employees by cutting hours without reasoning or official write-up. The store itself is constantly messy, with straw wrappers and used napkins littering the dining room and trash cans overflowing. Absolutely without a doubt the worst Dunkin I have ever had the misfortune of visiting.
