First time visiting and found the staff to be very friendly. I do like that the have craft on tap, make their own sodas and have a feel of fresh ingredients. I ordered the tuscan chicken it was very tasty! Only comment is that hey should slice not dice the red peppers and cook them under the cheese so they don't keep falling off the naan bread. chicken was super moist which may have been a bad thing since it made my bread soggy but even with that it was still very good and the flavors came together very nicely. I think the prices are fair based on the quality of food. Yes if you want a 6-7 dollar frozen patty then don't come here. But if you value fresh ingredients and can actually tell the difference then you be happy you stopped. It had been a few months since our last visit to Bagger Dave's (due to poor customer service the last time there). We arrived just as they were seating a very large group. We were told that it would be 20-30 minutes before we would be seated. We understood the wait, and were put on the waitlist. Over the next 30 minutes we watched as 5-6 tables cleared and were empty. Assuming that we would be seated soon we continued to wait. Over the next 30 minutes, another 5-6 tables were cleared. At this point, there were at least 10 tables open. Yet, in the hour we were waiting (we were number 2 on the wait list) not a singe table was seated. At this point, the waiting room was completely full, and it was getting crowded outside the front door...yet the restaurant seating wasn't even half full. I asked the hosted why no one was seated in an hour, and we were packed together in the waiting room (oh yeah, COVID too). She told me that the kitchen was slammed, and they didn't want to overwhelm them any more. I was shocked...packing people in the waiting room, standing for an hour, when we could have been SEATED and at least had a drink while we waited for the kitchen to catch up. At the very least, we should have been told about the additional wait. Needless to say, after waiting an hour, and noticing the large group still hadn't received their meals, we left. Our experience here was not good. The food was ok, but the service was not. Much of the problem was that our waitress was multitasking. She was the hostess, clearing tables and also trying to wait on people. She brought our food and did not ask if we wanted refills on our drinks. Never came back to ask if our meal was ok. I had to flag her down to get our bill and the it was an additional 10 minutes before she picked it up. I think this restaurant needs more wait staff. We won't be back. read more

I really wanted to like Bagger Dave's. Burgers are one of my family's favorite meals to eat when dining out, and we love high quality burgers served in a casual atmosphere, so we assumed our first visit would be the beginning of a dining addiction. However, from the start, things went poorly. We were seated next to a family with a screaming toddler in a high chair. His parents did nothing to address his behavior. Our waiter actually couldn't hear when we attempted to place our order (both for drinks, and when he came back to take our food order) because of this kid, but when we asked to be moved away from the noise, we were told we could get back in line and wait 30 minutes until another table opened up, like WE should be penalized because other patrons refused to make sure their kid behaved appropriately. When our food arrived the first time, every food item was completely incorrect. Turns out, the waiter hadn't been able to hear us even after we repeated ourselves multiple times. (Again, because of the screaming kid.) He required us to WRITE OUR ORDERS DOWN and took them back to the kitchen without a single apology. When our food arrived a second time, we were presented with two burgers that were still bloody and pink, despite having been ordered well done (written out by us, no less), we requested to speak with a manager. When the waiter couldn't hear our request over the toddler's continued screams, we walked up to the hostess stand and requested a manager, returning to our table. As the manager approached our table, the toddler's behavior ratcheted up from merely being noisy to throwing things. He dipped his hand into one of his parents' drinks and chucked a handful of ice at me, hitting me in the face. The manager pretended as if he didn't see the incident, and then motioned for us to come speak with him somewhere quieter. As i wiped the water off of my face, and picked ice out of my collar, I detailed our issues (the wrong orders, the waiter's inability to hear, having to write our orders down, the constant screaming, and then finally and most of all, having ice thrown at my face). The manager shrugged it all off, saying, "Bagger Dave's is a family restaurant. It is meant to be kid-friendly." When I requested simply that the manager move us away from the child who flung ice at my face, he refused to do so, unless we still wanted to wait for another table. At that point, the line had grown to 40 minutes. We said we declined, and we refused to stay and eat raw meat while things were being thrown at us, and the manager demanded that we pay our bill in full. ...pay for the incorrect orders we hadn't taken a single bite of. As we left the restaurant disappointed and offended, the manager was apologizing to the toddler's parents. He comped their meal. read more

They were sad I had a bad experience, they wanted to make it up to me, come back in, speak with the manager, etc... I provided my contact info as they requested. Just had dinner there, three of us had eggs on our burgers the eggs were basically cracked from the shell and put on the burger, even tried to order another and it was just as bad. Burger had no flavor. Ordered a salad and expected it to come first but all the food was brought out at the same time. Holy Cheeseburger is this place good! Nice craft beer selection and the make their own soft drinks. The decor is fun and upscale for a burger place. We went for lunch and the were pretty busy but the servers were pros. You can pick from a selection on the menu or design your own. I had smoked Gouda, sautéed mushroom and onions, bacon, and BBQ sauce and it was heaven. Not on the body beautiful plan though guys and gals. Also, the twisted Mac N Cheese as a side, YOWSA!! Not somewhere I would recommend to someone looking for a great burger. Wife ordered just salad and coffee and was delivered a salad and water. Never returned with a coffee, waitress was to busy talking about her last nights adventure while my 11 year old listened to her loud recreation of the past nights events. She never returned to check on us until she came back to ask if we were ready for our check. Burger was okay, but found that the huge bun made it much too large to eat without silverware. Some friends and I went there on New years' night. The problem that we had was our service was BAD. We waited 20 mins for our drinks. When we did order we had to wait 45 mins to an hour for our food. I had looked forward to trying this place. I had a burger, fries and a soda. With tip, came out to be almost 18.00, tipping at 15%. I can't justify going back. The burger was good, the fries were average. The custom sodas they make are not the greatest. The Black cherry Cream tasted like some type of medicine. I tried their Cola afterwards and it was like a less sweet Coke and semi flat. The servers were attentive. Overall, no real complaints per se', it was just, "Meh". Bagge Dave's is a comfortable restaurant with modern furniture and Big High Def TV's. The team here in Fort Wayne is a high energy team all seeking to make One's time there extremely pleasant. The Food is worth coming back again. However, Kitchen speed is normally SLOW, be sure to be patient when waiting for your meal. Manager apologized - and ultimately discounted our bill significantly - without being asked. Realizing this is restaurant is newly opened - they really need to work out some issues in the kitchen.
