The burger was decent size but husband said, "It's just a burger. Tastes okay but I've had better around town." As for my haddock sandwich, it presented well but tasted "blah." The bun was tasty though, as was the special BBQ sauce for the fries. We will most likely come back for drinks and appetizers but will pass on a full meal - at least for now. My wife and I stopped in yesterday. Stood by the 'please wait to be seated' sign for over 5 minutes while every manner of staff looked at us while they passed and never spoke, never smiled. Obviously they weren't packed to capacity (Covid), I would say 30% of actual capacity. Wait staff were not running furiously as if to catch up, just a laissez faire attitude. The first few minutes I assumed they were short staffed? No, the girls there simply had no interest in even paying any attention to us. If we'd have even had a "I'm sorry we're busy someone will be right with you" I'd have understood, smiled, been happily seated when they got to us. Getting that business style entering the door, I do not want them preparing my food. Granted, the food is optimistically 'Applebee's' grade anyway but we wanted quiet and relaxed more than anything. We went next door to Arcos Mexican Restautante and had a wonderful $70 meal by wonderful staff. First time eating here, it was right by my hotel so I decided to try it. The food was amazing! It was the juiciest burger I have ever had. I ordered The Blues Burger with a cup of potato soup. The soup was cheesy and had croutons on top. I placed my order for carryout and it was ready on time, hot and the fries were still crisp. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in town. Not impressed - long wait for the food. My first burger was wrong, so I waited again for attempt #2 and, well... I'll upload the pic. They did right by me - they took it off my bill and truthfully I've been a cook; he/she was trying to rush the second burger. It happens. I ate the burger in the pic and it literally fell apart bc it was frankly raw. One thing made me feel ok and that's the fact that they source all their restaurants with 100% local beef. I really wanted this place to be awesome but it was just another restaurant in a place where there are a ton of average places to go. The parking lot is a train wreck. Pot holes, tons of cars with no order, but that isn't really the restaurants fault The burger was just ok... I had a BBQ bacon burger and my wife had just the American cheese burger. Get the bigger size of you can not really taste it. The fries tasted great but they were all tiny pieces. It could have just been the end of the bag or something. I was not impressed. Beer was cold and my wife's drink was good but more like kool aid (her words) The service was actually pretty poor. She tried but was just not friendly and slow to attend the table. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Spicy artichoke dip was very good but a little cold. I created my own burger (4oz) and got sweet potato chips. Burger was really good and juicy but my Bf's 8oz was dry and not cooked to order and pretzel bun was dense. His normal fries were soggy but still good enough to take home. My chips were chewy but still had flavor. The stout and wheat ales on tap were really good. However! If 5 guys burgers and fries served beer I dont think place would be in business. read more

This review only pertains to carry out from Bagger Dave's. I have not yet sat in for a meal. My dad and I called in our dinner order. He got the Italian beef sandwich and fries and I got the Buffalo Bleu Burger with sweet potato chips and honey mustard dipping sauce. He was able to pick up the food within 15 minutes of calling it in and when he got home I unwrapped pure goodness. I very rarely eat meat an when I do, I try to stick to poultry. So, above everything else, I was happy to have turkey burger options. The Buffalo Bleu was DELICIOUS! The subtle heat of the garlic Buffalo sauce, the tang of the Bleu cheese, and re JUICINESS of the turkey. I was 100% pleased. The chips were top notch. Crisp, sweet, an salty. My dad said the Italian beef was pretty good, but our family had high standards for Italian beef. It's hard to find a great one outside of Chicago. He also really liked the fries. We went here for lunch since the last time we tried to go here it was an hour wait. We walked right in and got a table. They don't carry Coke or Pepsi products; the sodas are house made. I had the diet cola and it tasted okay. Our food came out in a timely manner. I decided to make my own burger. There are sheets of paper and pencils at each table that allows you to check mark everything you want your burger to have. My hubby got a chipotle BBQ bacon burger. He said it was not spicy at all, but had good flavor. My burger was pretty good, too. I got a bleu cheese swiss burger. My hubby got the twisted Mac and cheese as a side. I had a few bites. It seemed heavy on the pepper. I probably wouldn't get it myself. I opted for the homemade fries. They were very tasty. While we were eating, a huge party of people came in. (Probably 20 people). The staff collected all the tables around us to make a huge table for the party which is what I would expect them to do. It felt like after the tables were mashed together, my hubs and I were eating alone in the middle of the room. Kinda awkward, but they did accommodate the huge party. First time experiencing this restaurant, live 5 hours from here and decided to try this place while visiting. Pretzels were good. Waitress kept refilling our drinks which was nice. I got the bbq chicken sandwich and they messed it up and my boyfriend got the chicken salad with barely any dressing or lettuce. When the waitress went to put the food down she asked if everything was okay, but we didn't have time to look at our plate to see if there was an issue because the plate was still in her hand. We went into Bagger Dave's for the first time yesterday. We were seated quickly. We ordered our drinks. Catastrophe then took place. Our waitress came out with our drinks and spilled them all over one of the people at our table! They handled this situation very well. They were very apologetic. We cleaned up our guest and moved tables. The manager came out and was very nice and actually comped our meals. Even after that great ordeal, the food was delicious. I had the Train-wreck burger. Our dinner started out okay, nothing to write home about, until my boyfriend found what looked like a bandaid in his food. We finally were able to get the waitresses attention to give it to her. The manager came out and told us it was part of the paper they put between burgers...better than a bandaid, but still unappetizing. There are some things I really like about Bagger Daves. The atmosphere is open and takes you back to childhood with the train rolling around the outside. Their draft beers while not many in number are unique. Their fries are done in an adventurous manner and the burgers are fun and push the normal boundaries a bit. However, that is where the like stops and the reality sets in. Unfortunately, Bagger Daves is just another burger joint that starts with some cache, but never really delivers a great product. I found the buns annoying, the burgers overly salted and the sauces just too odd. This place could be great but they need to go back to the kitchen and reevaluate their food. I'm torn on Bagger Dave's. The food is excellent and interesting. I'm not a big fan of red meat but here they have chicken sandwiches or I can substitute turkey or black bean on any burger. Their fries are one of my favorites and they have lots of unique dipping sauces. This all comes at a price though...they're expensive so it's not economical for a family of 4. However, they do have half price kids meals on Sunday so that helps. Meals normally come out quickly but service isn't always the best. Take today for instance. We sat for about 5 minutes before anyone came to our table. Finally someone came by and said she would be right back to take our drink orders (unfortunately I'm not sure who that was, I wasn't looking). Then another 5 minutes came by and a different gal came by (Maddie?) and said our waitress Carly was 'busy' and she'd take our drink orders. Fine. Took our drink orders, brought them, then took our food order. Still no Carly. Then a girl came by and apologized profusely and said she was our waitress. Food came out and was brought by the gal who took our order. Then halfway through our meal ANOTHER girl comes by and says she's Carly. So who was the girl who apologized? Carly brought my husband a refill and a box, brought us a dessert and a check. That's it. What the heck was going on? We came for a late lunch (1:30) so they weren't that busy. My guess is that Carly is getting the tip and absolutely doesn't deserve it. All in all I do enjoy coming here so we'll be back and just cross our fingers in service. read more

First time visiting and found the staff to be very friendly. I do like that the have craft on tap, make their own sodas and have a feel of fresh ingredients. I ordered the tuscan chicken it was very tasty! Only comment is that hey should slice not dice the red peppers and cook them under the cheese so they don't keep falling off the naan bread. chicken was super moist which may have been a bad thing since it made my bread soggy but even with that it was still very good and the flavors came together very nicely. I think the prices are fair based on the quality of food. Yes if you want a 6-7 dollar frozen patty then don't come here. But if you value fresh ingredients and can actually tell the difference then you be happy you stopped. My son and I went here for dinner on a Saturday. We did not have to wait and get seated. This restaurant makes it's own pops. I had their root beer and my son had their orange cream pop. Both pops tasted great. We both chose to create our own burger. Both burgers were made just like we like them and tasted great. We loved their fresh cut fries.
