I often lament that I can't find a good sandwich in Austin, but this place made me eat my words. Not only are the banh mi near perfect, they're served by some incredibly friendly people. The lady behind the counter encouraged me to sample the chicken before I ordered it, and she also told me about the buy-5-get-1-free special they were running. I had little need for six sandwiches at the time, but after chowing down on my #1 (the house special sandwich, complete with pork, unidentifiable pork products and pate), I seriously considered buying six next time I'm in there. You'd never know this place just opened because it ran really smoothly. My two sandwiches were packed and ready to go before I finished texting someone. I spotted a container of three spring rolls and bought them on the fly. Delicious, but different because they were filled with grilled pork instead of the traditional boiled variety. A plus: If you're ordering to-go sandwiches, the veggies are packed separately -- a nice touch if you aren't a fan of the soggies. The bread was crusty out the outside, chewy on the inside and almost as fresh as your dirty uncle. The meats were scrumptious. The veggies were fresh. My only hangup: When I started loading the veggies onto my sandwich, I realized the soy sauce was missing. That's the one ingredient that makes a good banh mi great, so it was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if that was an oversight or standard procedure. I'm hoping it's the former. Also, they only take cash, so remember that before you make it to the counter. When sandwiches cost less than $3, though, you can probably rummage through your car and find enough change to cover your meal. They also serve more Americanized sandwiches, as well as Vietnamese drinks, but I didn't have a chance to sample them. Oh, and they're located in a hidden corner of the Chinatown shopping center, on the same row as MT Supermarket. Ultimately, this place tops other Vietnamese sandwich joints in the area because the service is much friendlier, even if the soy sauce was missing that one time. So I tried the banh mi xiu mai and the banh mi thit nuong last week and some cafe sua da. I'll start with the coffee. The coffee was stored pre made in the fridge. If you drink cafe sua da and the coffee is cold, it doesn't melt the ice, so you can take a sip and it's gone. I wasn't happy. The banh mi xui mai wasn't bad at all. No complaints. The banh mi thit nuong that I had was actually xa xiu. I was upset and it didn't taste right. Maybe the fact that my eyes make me look korean or something but I know what my thit nuong tastes like. I am giving a one star review based on their customer service. Overall, the food quality is decent, but the customer service is just absolutely terrible. I usually come here to order the Vietnamese coffee with ice cream on top. As if he thinks I do not know Vietnamese. And the ladies there were glad to make it for me, but when they were telling the boss (some guy that works there), he did not take it lightly. He started yelling in Vietnamese that we don't do the coffee with ice cream. Just give them whip cream and they will not notice a thing. The lady decided to give me ice cream anyways, but the boss really exploded. During the time when he was yelling, it made it really awkward for the workers as well as the customers. I looked around to see the facial expressions of the customers and noticed that they were also uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place because of their customer service. In the future, I rather go to BAMBU for my Vietnamese coffee. They will be more than happy to give me the quality service that I am looking for. read more

Hands down the best vegetarian banh mi in Austin. Also the best baguette. I tried Ng BMT, but that place isn't even close to how good this place is! I have serious cravings for this sandwich, and once I have that craving, I need my fix. What I love about this place is that the tofu is thinly sliced, so it has more surface area to absorb the sauces and seasoning. The vegetables are in the perfect proportion, and then there is fresh cilantro to top it all off. Also did I mention how good the baguette is? Yes, its the best. No longer are my starstruck eyes dazzled by Baguette House. Its an all right place that serves a good selection of Banh Mi sandwiches, sweet drinks, and sweeter desserts. Location: -Plenty of parking in this outdoor shopping area. Except on Lunar New years. Pros: -decent variety -Clean/ my inner interior designer says "it reminds you of late 2000's" -Bread is fresh -Inexpensive.. -People are nice. Would not say you need an interpreter for this place. English is fine. Cons: -I'm gonna lay it on you heavy that the cuts of meat are thin as paper. Some people like that for their diets, but its suppose to be lego block sized (the Cha Lua). High-five for vegetarians! For my Banh Mi Enthusiasts: 1. You will make me sad if you mention any Banh Mi place from SoCal. 2. I never trust ordering Banh Mi from a Restaurant; strictly bakery or sandwich shop only. 3. The inspection for the meat, bread, freshness of the greens is important. If it comes with a 2 for 1 deal or free milk tea then its a winner. 4. Lee's Sandwiches is as exciting as a nickelback song. Recommendations: Nothing wrong with getting fresh baguettes here, side order of the butter/pate, the meats & veggies at MT supermarket. LOVE this place! I usually get more than one sandwich and save it for later. My usual order is 2 special no 2, 2 pate chaud and 1 big ass dumpling. Sandwiches are on an in store made baguette that's crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. A thin layer of mayo concoction keeps the bread from getting soggy. All of the veggies are in a plastic bag, and make sure to grab up a few packets of soy sauce. It's not a banh without soy sauce! Pate chaud is a french inspired meat filled, fried on the outside goodness. I don't even know how to describe them! First of all this palce does not show up in the right spot when you are looking for it on the map. It shows it is in the front left corner of the center but in fact it is in the back right corner. The prices were good but the food was not so great. I felt like the bread could have been fresher and they could have put more meat in it. They had a minimum to put on my card which was fine so I added one of the cream horns thinking since it was a fresh bakery it would be good but the bread part tasted stale and was inedible. One of my co wokers ordered some sort of cake that had passion fruit on it and he said it was okay but I surely will never be back. read more

Okay, after more than a year since my last visit, I guess I had forgotten just how bad my first visit was here. Long story short, they saved their worst for my second and final visit here. I ordered the BBQ which was average but a lot better than the combo that my friend had ordered. I was showing him Vietnamese cuisine and there's not much to choose from here in Austin as compared to Houston. So it was important that he at least didn't hate what he was eating. Half way through I could tell he wasn't enjoying his combo very much so I told him he could have the other half of my BBQ. He agreed and we swapped. He also agreed that my BBQ was a lot better and I agreed that his combo was the worst bánh mì ever. Disclaimer: review gets a bit more graphic and a lot more honest from here on. Later that evening, we got sick. The smell that kept coming up whenever I had a burp was the ham from the combo. Needless to say, my system was telling me to un-swallow that half of a combo. I have a new obsession for delicious banh mi sandwiches. Now I'm not an expert ...yet =) But Baquette is my favorite. Most of the time I take my sandwiches to go and will order an extra so I can zap it the next day for lunch. So for TO GO/ NEXT DAY MEAL House Special Banh Mi: The veggies are 9 times out of 10 fresh and perfect. There have been a few rare occassions where the pickled veggies taste old or are already mushy. You can request the veggies be packed in a seperate baggie, but lately I just tell them to put everything in just so it's easier for me. The bread is prob my biggest issue. The past handful of times the bread has been just fine, however I have had it when the bread just has little flavor and is a bit stale, so I understand some of the reviews here. Also, I tried another banh mi place on Lamar and thought the bread was really good but the butter spread not as tasty as Baguette's mayo spread. The meat-- The house special is a mixture of cold cuts. It's thinly sliced, flavorful, and easy to eat. I've also heard of complaints of not enough meat in thier sandwiches, but for me it's a fair amount. I've actually had better in Austin. These sandwiches are a little too much bread, not enough filling. The bread seems like a pretty standard baguette that I could buy at Wal-Mart. The meat is good, but the little veggie sacks that come on the side.. meh. I appreciate the idea, since I know a lot of people don't like cilantro or don't want all the veggies on their banh mi, but there wasn't enough of anything, except the picked carrots and radish. And those weren't the best I've had either. This place is pretty clean, so that's a big plus, but I don't think I'll be back. I could eat the #4 (chicken sandwich) until I popped and it's cheap enough to really do just that (under $3 a pop). I enjoy the flavor combination of the sauteed chicken with the crisp, almost sweet, vinegar veggies on a freshly made baguette garnished with peppers and cilantro. My only warning would be to watch out for those peppers because they can really bite you in the hiney. I compared this same sandwich to LIly's in the same shopping center and found the Baguette house to use less mayo which made it drier but i liked it better and felt it was healthier. Seriously, the flavor of this stuff was good and super cheap (less than $3 a sandwich?!) but you get a lot of bread, a good bite of veggies and a teeny bit of meat. You end up with far too many bites of rather ordinary bread and not enough delicious filling. The beef spring rolls were very good though, and the dipping sauce with them was delectable. Some of the desserts looked really enticing too (yogurt cake?) Drinks are super expensive too, $3.25 for tea! Unacceptable. We went in at 7:10 pm and they closed, but the sign still said "Open"- and the lady who speaks English let us get some take out sandwhiches. 2. They have pastarami!! If you are from Hawaii (Oahu) and you like Bale pastarami sandwhich, you would love this place. The lady allowed me to "make" my own creation. This is a still kinda new, clean place with very tasty sandwiches. The bread used to be fresh baked everytime, now it's meh-so so but still good stuff. I don't expect any shop to keep up the 'just out the oven' bread since it requires high volume sales to support that kind of expense; this is not a Subway after all, nor do i want it to be. In any case, it's the best vietmese sandwich place I'm aware of in N. Austin. The shop really knows its bread and it's evident from the perfect croissants and a variety of other bakery items sold there. The #1 (house?) sandwich has excellent flavors if one doesn't mind pate and that type of stuff. The BBQ pork is the way to go for those that are shy/1st timers; don't expect Houston grade though. I wish these shops would use better, thicker cuts of meat, god knows I'm sooo willing to pay for it. Let's see some quality $4 Banh-mis, I'm afraid to eat a meal priced below $2-$3 anyway. Lulu B's down south has superb BBQ pork and amazing flavors w/lime and chili, but misses on the bread big time (are those HEB sub rolls?); it's worth trying though as a comparison if you're ever on Lamar/Oltorf. Best banh mi in town! It actually beats any place in Houston as well, and my mom (the ultimate critic) agrees. In fact I have to buy a bunch for her anytime we visit each other. Their bread is perfect - crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside. They are long and skinny compared to other places and I feel this is more French style. Meat inside is generous and their "butter" is awesome. Yeah maybe it's a bit more expensive than some of your other places but the quality justifies it and you are still spending under $4 for a delicious lunch. They close at 7 FYI. Since this is a more lunch-y place it's not a big deal except Mom has had to suffer a couple times when I didn't make it on time to get her the goods to-go. Oh yeah - if you buy some for later, don't get it toasted and request the veggies be packaged separately. Toast and assemble the sandwich just before eating it for best results :) read more

hard to give this place a super awesome rating when i've had FAT, delicious banh mi from houston. i uploaded pics so you could see. first off the good stuff, the restaurant is extremely clean and very nice, which stands out to me. it would be better if they had some tables and chairs outside because today was a beautiful day, and we couldn't find seating outside. the bread is also good, crunchy but still soft on the inside. so the cons. the sandwiches are not substantial. i ordered the pate, and the meat inside was sliced super thin so i really couldn't taste it at all. the carrots are also not very pickled, which is what adds that extra flavor and crunch to the traditional banh mi. my friend had the barbecue pork, and it was ok as well, not enough meat again. the price is fine, i didn't feel like i overpaid. most sandwiches are about $3 or under. my advice? add more meat and pickle the carrots, and this place would be legit! read more

I don't believe anyone makes better sandwiches than the Vietnamese. I mean, how can you go wrong with pate, seitan, or Chinese BBQ, jalapeno, cucumbers, pickled carrots, and daikon, stuffed between french bread? (You'll notice I omitted the cilantro, as even though I'm Asian, I'm also genetically predisposed against the taste of it.) Every time I've gone to Baguette House, the bread has been warm and fresh, which is not the case for other banh mi places in Austin. They used to have a "buy 5, get 1 free" deal (which I thought was a staple of all banh mi shops), but I haven't seen that offer in a while, now. Recessionary times and all that. That being said, the prices are still dirt cheap, especially compared to some of the other trendier Vietnamese cafes/trailers. If you get the sandwiches to go, they'll even put the wet stuff (cucumber, carrots, daikon, jalapeno, and cilantro) in a separate baggie so the bread doesn't get soggy on your trip home. Taking a star off, though, because they don't have soy milk available as a drink. I mean, I understand not having the equipment to make it fresh, but it'd be nice if they at least had the canned stuff in their fridge. read more

Cheap, delicious and fast. Their sandwich bread is crunchy and soft but the filling is only mediocre. Their banh mi is wetter than my tastes with their generous spread of mayonnaise. It still hits the banh mi craving. I also enjoyed their ban bao, steamed buns w/meat, and their spring rolls are decent. I did not partake in the smoothies but they are highly recommended. Man, I love this place. Their baguettes are great-- I wonder if they make them in house? At first, the sandwiches come off as looking HUGE, but upon first bite, you realize there isn't a ton of stuff inside of them. Still well worth the $3-4 per (8 inch??) sandwich! The one thing that does somewhat irritate me about the sandwiches (and I'm REALLY reaching for this one) is that the cilantro is thrown on there with some rather thick stems still attached. I always forget this and then pull a stalk from my mouth, then have to do some sandwich dissecting to pull the leaves off. I've been here several times and I think Ive somehow gotten the grilled pork each time, which has been delicious. Never any sketchiness to the meat, which is what one might fear when ordering a very cheap, meaty sandwich in a strip mall. But YESTERDAY... I stopped in and went with the pork meatballs. And, for the first time in my Yelping history, I feel it appropriate to say: amaze-balls! (usually I cringe when reading that descriptor, lol) Seriously-- the pork meatballs are SO good, I don't know how I'm going to manage to try anything else next time I go in there! I also got the (housemade?) basil seed drink- delish! And for the first time I noticed Vietnamese jerky at the counter!! I must go back and try it! THANK GOODNESS FOR YELP! Seriously. I would never have known this delicious banh mi place is in the back corner of the Chinatown Shopping Center. The bread is the PERFECT amount of crunchy and the inside is soft and yummy. This is no place for banh mi rookies who don't know what banh mi bread is supposed to be like. Some people complain it cuts their mouth -- well you're obviously not eating it right!! haha . If you want soft, go to Subway. I grew up in Houston, and after moving to ATX I was really sad after trying a couple of banh mi places. Not that they were gross, I mean still good in their own way... But they can't compete with H-Town banh mi!! You know what I mean? The yummy butter & pate -- the bread quality... Here in Austin, it just wasn't up to par. Then I see my friend post a picture of banh mi on FB, I was like dang... I could kill for some good banh mi right now. I search around on Yelp and this place pops up! I walk in, it's clean. Crumbs on the table, but I mean... It's a banh mi place! Who cares? Better than nuoc mam on the table! lol. Easy to read menu. Friendly staff. Good prices. Bread was on point. Pickled carrots and whatever the white part is tasted good. A good amount of meat (despite what other people have reviewed, they must be greedy) excellent "bo" (butter for you non asians), and fresh spicy jalapeno slices on the side. I learned about this place a few years ago when my brother would bring me sandwiches since he was a big fan. It's hard not to be a big fan. These are the best bánh mi sandwiches in town and I've stood by that opinion for years! The winning factor is the baguette, which is always fresh, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Add in the fresh veggies and cold cuts, and you'll wonder how PB&Js have so much street cred. I always get the #1 house combination but BBQ pork is good also. The #1 is so good I have yet to venture outside of it! The croissants, my other weakness, are also some of the best in town. Also on the plus: the people who work there are very friendly, you can get a sandwich for about $4, and service is fast. Baguette House made me cry. Here's what happened...I asked for extra jalapeños. See, many places in Austin don't know how to make a good banh mi, which ought to be quite spicy. So, thinking I would need to add some heat myself, I went for the extra jalapeños...and I was wrong. EEEEEE! My mouth was on fire for a good 2 hours afterwards. Before that though, I enjoyed my sandwich. I opted for tofu, which was a bit spongy for my taste, and they cut it into these long thin strips that I didn't much care for. I think I really should have gone for the pork (I'm just not really into pate...is that bad?). But everything else about the sandwich was about as perfect as I've had in austin so far. Great bread (made in house), and the right amount of veggies and cilantro. There was an EENSY slather of mayo on there, but I would have liked a bit more...or at least some with more flavor. And then I had a vietnamese coffee. It was strong, it was icy, and it was yummmm. While we were waiting, some kindly vietnamese gentlemen explained the exotic (to me) delicacies in the deli case. There was one that looked like a container full of chlorophyll cells under the microscope...THIS is what I remember from bio class? Oh well. Then there was another that looked like a garden suspended in jello. Our guide says its good for you. I didn't have enough cash on me to buy any of those things - I also wanted to try their dried bean sprouts and some other interesting looking things - but I will report back on my next visit. I'm really glad I found this place because I was really bummed when Cafe de Bella closed down. They were hands-down my favorite; I almost always get thit nuong and there's was large, with a great charred flavor and awesome bread. I liked the Baguette House sandwich even though the pork didn't taste as "grilled" as some places, but it still had great flavor and the veggies/spread were just right. As everyone noted the bread was very good, and I think it's much better than Lee's. I also enjoyed the tiramisu cake I took to go (a less sweet/dense/wet version of tiramisu, with good coffee flavor). I'm looking forward to returning for the assortment of bakery items and drinks which really sets this place apart from the typical sandwich/noodle shop. I'm sure my story starts like many others. I had to stop at MT to get a few things (like Korean noodles to try and make Jap Chae....wish me luck) and ended up at Baguette House hungry. I got the #2 with Vietnamese ham. I'm not really sure what that means, but it was freakin' good so I'm not gonna worry my pretty little head about it. The bread here is truly the star: a perfect Baguette with the crunchy outside and chewy inside. Inside, you'll find whatever meat you have chosen (I liked the #2 & #3), tasty pickled veggies, and your other Banh Mi standards. Arrival - I had scouted the location ahead of time via Google maps so walking here was easy. I arrived at 11:40, just in time for a late breakfast or early lunch. Appearance- Clean, trendy, well-lit. There are two 40" televisions on site, one showing news and the other displaying sports, neither has its volume turned up which was fine by me. There is some soft top 40-style music coming from the kitchen area but one could easily carry on a conversation at their table. There is a good mix of customers or all ethnicities and genders. The location is amongst several Asian shops in an area known as the Chinatown Center (not my name) and it is probably aptly named. Weapons Restrictions- None were noted so you are probably fine to carry either openly or concealed. I typically carry concealed so I've decided to begin adding a "Weapons Restrictions" section to each of my Yelp reviews, I'd like to ask others to do the same, regardless your stance on firearms, it can help avoid unintentional drama which most people who carry legally do not desire anyway. Please help me in this endeavor. My Order - I had ordered #37 which was a rice dish w/ chicken and added a Thai iced tea and a bottle of water as my drinks. I placed my order at the counter and took a seat that would allow me to charge my phone while I ate. There were at least three tables that were near power outlets leaving me my choice of six available plugs for my phone, well, actually it left four because one table was occupied and I didn't want to join the big hairy guy at his table, no offense. My food arrived quickly, hot and ready to consume, which I did. I finished the entire meal and am currently working on the Thai tea. The tea is quite different, if you've ever seen rusty antifreeze then you could picture this tea, I'll try to remember to take a pic before I finish it. The pic will not do it justice though, it actually tastes pretty good; it has a bit of a spicy, Chai bite to it which I like, your taste may differ. I did finish my entire meal but that's not due to the portion size being small, it was actually a nice size and included plenty of chicken and rice so I am full. The reasons I chose this restaurant were twofold, first, they offered free WiFi which I am using now and second, they had excellent reviews unlike the Jack in the Box which was my other nearby restaurant choice and about 15 minutes closer in walking time. As my 5-star review indicates, the prior reviews were indeed justified, this place is top notch. One final note, the guy who placed and filled my order just sat down at the table next to me and he is eating the same food so either we both have horrible taste in food and very low standards or this place lives up to its reviews. OK, just one final, FINAL note, I managed to loiter until 3:00 in the afternoon without getting kicked out, rest assured though, I would have left and freed up the space if it had gotten crowded but it never did. If I'd only paid closer attention or read Yelp reviews more closely, I'd have known. They don't list prices for the baguettes on the menu, but sure as I scored my loaf, I noticed two other people buying bread to go. This may be a review more for a traditional Banh Mi but oh well. The #1 Combination Baguette was a perfect exercise in balance. Fresh crunchy bread, beautiful cilantro, cucumber, and serrano/jalapeno pepper, creamy earthy pate, interesting and flavorful cold cuts, homemade aoli, and pickled daikon and carrots. Things I really like about Baguette House: -Fast service. I stopped in on a weekday at the height of lunchtime and received my order in 2-3 minutes. -Very clean and attractive cafe with ample parking. -The baguette bread is excellent (chewy & chrunchy without an excessive amount of bread). I was very satisfied with the sandwich, although I thought the Chinese BBQ pork I ordered was a bit lacking in flavor. I wouldn't call this the BEST Banh Mi I've ever had, but it was very good. Good, but not thrilling. I got a veggie Banh Mi and some veggie spring rolls. The cool thing is that they wrap all the veggies separately from the rest of the sammich, so that if you can't get to it right away it won't get all soggy. But that also means that you have to assemble your sammich. And I don't think I do it as well as they probably would. I got nearly a full jalapeno in there, and it was freaking spicy! Spring rolls were okay. I tried them again a couple of days later and they were pretty terrible, but I guess that's what I get for refrigerating spring rolls for 2 days. I'm kinda interested in trying some of their bakery items, but there's very little explanation of any of them. So...yeah. I did a bit of head-to-head banh mi comparison today - bought a pork banh mi from Baguette House, Thanh Mi and Tam's Deli - and ate half of each in one sitting. Like being in banh mi heaven, it was. Seriously, all were terrific - you can't go wrong at any of these places. That said, Baguette House edged out the win for me, though, because of the bread. Instead of individual submarine rolls, they used pieces cut from long baguettes, which seemed to make a positive difference - crispier outside and dense & chewier inside. The two other places used individual submarine rolls that were airy and lighter in texture. Note that the pork banh mi was sliced cha shao pork at Baguette House, not grilled pork like at most other places. I love both, so it was fine with me, but if you are looking for grilled pork, try one of the other places. Lily's is good too. read more

Best banh mi in town as far as I'm concerned, and I've been to pretty much every Vietnamese sandwich shop in the area. The bread makes it - there's a reason this place is called The Baguette House. I like the BBQ pork a lot, but my favorite is the vegetarian. With some extra sriracha it's pretty much perfect. read more

From my profile picture you probably already gathered that I am an authority when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine. You're right. I've been eating banh mi for as long as Google's been auto-correcting my spelling of 'bahn mi'. That is likely just coincidence. The first time I had banh mi was in Manhattan, specifically in the east village, at Nicky's Vietnamese Sandwiches. It took me by surprise. I kept asking my friend, a local, "are you sure? this place? just sandwiches?" To Shanon: I apologize for being an idiot, I will never doubt you again, can I please come spend another week with you in NYC to stuff my face? I love sandwiches, and up until 2007 the Cuban was probably my favorite preparation. But after one bite of banh mi I flipped out. I was both amazed and pissed off. That actually sums up how I feel about food in NYC. It just doesn't seem fair that it can be that good. So back in Austin I had to find something to remind me of the sandwiches from New York. I've tried quite a few, but most places fumble on the bread: they deliver a soft sub-roll instead of a crusty french loaf. So it makes total sense that a placed called Baguette House would nail it. I've tried a few of the classic sandwiches, but my favorite is the #6 grilled pork. I usually get a few to go and I love how they bundle the daikon, carrot, jalepeno and cilantro separately from the sandwich. That way I can give my wife all the cilantro and go easy on the jalepenos. The #5 bbq pork is tasty, but up against the #6 I find the bbq pork to be a little dry. The sandwiches are incredibly inexpensive, like less than $3 each. The restaurant itself is bright, very clean, and likely broadcasting a soccer match on the flat screen tv. Next time you are there give the ladies behind the counter a hug from me and tell them I sent you. They likely don't know who I am and I don't think hugging is actually "a thing" there, but man that would be funny. read more

My sandwich yesterday was pretty terrible. The bread was stale, there wasn't much meat/or veggies and I didn't even finish it. Sad, because I've been here a few times before and it had always been good. Not sure what's up. First let me clarify that the food here deserves 4 stars but I'll go into details in a moment why I gave it 3. I ordered a #1 (combo special) and a #6 (grilled pork) which are the two banh mis that I order at all banh mi shops. I'd have to say that it's a toss up between this place and Thanh Nhi for whose sandwiches are better because both are very good. I do highly enjoy the fact that this place makes their bread fresh and it definitely attributes to the overall sandwich here. Now the only reason why I gave this place 3/5 stars was because of the price. I also want to point out there any sandwich shop in Austin as of right now would easily earn a 3 star rating as well. This is because I know I can get these same sandwiches in places like Houston or Dallas for like $2!!! Yes yes I know it's a recession and Austin is different but a part of why I like banh mi is because it's cheap and delicious...I guess we just need to improve demand for the product first then economy of scale should hopefully follow...womp womp!
