    Shrimp Pineapple Bowl

Came for my cousin birthday celebration. We had an area sectioned off which was about 6-7 tables. Waitress was decent and service was too bad. Restaurant had Caribbean feel to it and the music to match. For appetizers I got coconut shrimp and my mother had wings. For dinner we both had pineapple fried rice with shrimp. There was too much sauce on the rice but I did like the multiple shrimps that came in the dish. Entree was alright. The food is okay not sure I'll go back. However the service at this location is good. We did have an issue with the bill (we weren't charged correctly) but the waitress explained and it was understandable

Here's the Scoop! Bahama Breeze has become one of the spots I love since I went to one in Tampa, Florida 10 yrs. ago. The menu has changed since I first went to the one in Tampa. There are still some tasty items on there menu like the tacos, empanadas, jerk chicken, coconut shrimp, sweet plantains. The drinks are also delicious. They create different drinks in the Summer as well. There's outdoor seating with music and the decor inside reminds you of being on the island. Love it! Casual dressing.

The ambience is nice but the food is mediocre. I didn't like it at all. Bland and tasteless. A waste of my hard earned $90. Ordered the chicken wings starter, the snapper dish as a main dish and sides of plantain and mash. The plantain tasted like fried from frozen, the chicken wings although very hot and freshly fried was tasteless, the snapper was tough. Couldn't have been fresh. The service was just ok. Nothing exceptional. Not bad, not great. Just in balance. Maybe the happy hour will be better. The pineapple drink in the pineapple was super. The outdoor seating is nice though hence my three stars.

I'm back again! No doubt this is a great place to go for dinner. I love their new additions and once again the service was great. Our waitress Cheyenne was very nice and was spot on for her recommendations for drinks, we had very similar tastes. I had the Carnival Flight, and we both happened to enjoy the Barbados Rum Punch the best. So next time I am back I know I will likely just get that, but the flight was great overall too. For an appetizer my husband and I shared the Tuna Tostada Stack which was absolutely delicious. He had the Island Snapper and I had the Jerk Mahi Mahi. Both excellent dishes, and the Mahi Mahi had a little kick but not too much, was paired nicely with the rice and tomatoes. Also, great ambiance and not too loud. Great date place. Of course I'll be back again!

Love Bahama breeze! I usually go there for happy hour, but this time I went there for dinner with family. It is always busy but you don't wait long. For those who haven't been there, it's a Caribbean fusion restaurant. It has a lot of options from seafood, to pastas, and Caribbean fusion foods. This time I went, for appetizers, we had the beef empanadas. For dinner I had the lobster and shrimp linguine, my sister had the skirt steak, and my mom had the jerk chicken. My mom advised us the jerk chicken was salty, but me and my sister liked our food. Our server Thomas was really nice full of energy very attentive to us, even though it was busy, definitely will go back and have dinner again!

NEVER AGAIN!!!! - Let's start with when my father and I walked in. We asked for a booth. Mind you there are six booths open, and the guy said "oh it's about a 5 to 10 minute wait." We point out 5 open booths and he just says, "you guys can go sit there" - I can't even begin to tell you about how terrible the food was. The appetizers were Costco crap. They tasted like total trash. The burger was soggy. My bun was wet. I had a full plate of fries while my father's plate had about a quarter of that! Pictured below. - About 10 minutes into SEATING OURSELVES, they turn the music off and the DJ begins to play club music and the CHA CHA SLIDE AT AN ISLAND GRILL, how about some reggae!! - The hosts at the front counter were also eating instead of sitting aside taking an ACTUAL BREAK. Pictured below. Will NOT be returning, EVER!!!!

I've always wanted to try Bahama Breeze and I finally got around to it! The restaurant was clean and quiet. I visited during the afternoon and there were only a handful of guests inside. The hostess was welcoming and friendly! I ordered the vegetarian Jamaican stuffed plantain bowl and it was nothing short of delicious. The white rice, black beans and cheese tasted scrumptious underneath the tomatoes and corn. The food received by others in my party included the tequila salmon and honey butter chicken sandwich. Everyone thought their plates tasted great. I will return to try other dishes. I love the interior of Bahama Breeze; it's definitely a wonderful place for celebration dinners with its fun island vibe. The dishes are bursting with flavor! I only hope they bring one further down to the nyc area.

Great island atmosphere. We had two drinks, Bahama Mama and Ultimate Pineapple, really good! There was a crab cake dip, beef empanadas with some ridiculously good pineapple sauce! For dinner I had the steak and coconut shrimp......... soooooo good! My steak was overcooked but I was given and entire meal steam cooked to perfection and since I had to wait I ate the rest and only ate the new steak so I had free lunch lol

My wife and I was in the area and Bahama Breeze is a fav of ours so we stopped in for lunch. It was early afternoon so it wasn't crowded yet. The hostess sat us immediately and strict Covid-19 restrictions were in place. Our waiter Mack came over and introduced himself. He informed us of the special drinks and answered all our questions in their entirety. After a pleasant conversation we ordered the Margarita Flight (Classic, Dragon Fruit & Coconut-Pineapple) for drinks and the Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos Served with a side of guacamole for our lunch. For additional sides my wife ordered a salad with Blue cheese and I had the black beans with rice. We were brought 2 glasses of water and with our flights. The classic was the best for us, then the Coconut, a little heavy but really good, the dragon we found a little sweet but we were told it was one of their more popular drinks. Then our meals came out. The Mahi Mahi was awesome, wife's salad with blue chees dressing was also awesome with chunks of Blue Cheese. My black beans and rice was also very good. We asked for a side of chips to go with the guac. Mack gave us some chips with plantain chips on the house. My wife and I enjoyed our lunch tremendously, the food was great, our waiter Mack was outstanding, efficient, friendly, informative and polite, he really knows his job. He made of feel very welcomed and the atmosphere was also very nice. We don't live nearby but if in the area again we would definitely return and try some other delicious drinks and food and will definitely ask for Mack to be our waiter.

Hi Christopher! The steel drummer who performed at our Lake Grove location this past weekend is Gerard Ector. We're glad you enjoyed his music!

I absolutely adore this spacious garage themed eatery. Bright colors, vintage pictures and signs and actual cars! The Honey and I had dinner here on Sunday, April 12th, 2026. We were in the area and decided to check it out. We were seated promptly and our server James greeted us warmly when he arrived at our table. The Honey had the meatloaf entree with two sides and I opted for the Ahi Tuna Bowl. Both meals were absolutely delicious! My bowl was bursting with lettuce, cabbage, avocado, wonton strips and the salad dressing just pulled everything together! We were satisfied but still craved dessert. James suggested the homemade Key Lime pie....he said the company was Florida based. He did say all the desserts were good but, if you like Key Lime we needed to try it. That pie was the creamiest, Key Lime I've ever had!! And the graham cracker crust? (Chef's Kiss) What a fun, laid back place to enjoy some good food with family and friends! Horrible experience! First and last time going here…read more I went with my family. My mom was attracted to the restaurant because of the decor outside and everything. We sat down at our table and were given menus. We didn't even get the chance to look them over before getting asked what we were going to order. After a couple of minutes, we finally did order. For our appetizer, we ordered the BBQ Ford's Classic Wings. The wings were delicious, nicely seasoned, and the ranch paired nicely with them. The wings were saucy and kinda messy--and we didn't have any napkins around us. The waiter eventually came to our table and we asked him for napkins. He came back with some blue rags--I get it, it's part of the whole restaurant theme and everything. For our entrees, my sister ordered the Salmon with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a side of Ford's Fries. My dad ordered the BBQ Pork Ribs with a side of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Lastly, my mom ordered the Beer-Battered Fish N' Chips with a side of fries. After putting in our order, the waiter came back and said they were out of ribs--my dad switched to the Grilled Sirloin Steak, with the same sides of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. After about 30 minutes, we received our dishes. We weren't able to eat because we didn't have any utensils at the table. We asked the waiter for utensils and waited around 5-10 minutes for them. It seemed like he had forgotten to bring them to our table. We had also ordered more ranch and barbecue sauce. After a couple of minutes, the waiter came to give us our utensils; he also cleared the plates we had used for our appetizer. My dish was a chicken sandwich, and the bread had a stamped logo of the restaurant name. My mom had the fried fish, which looked really big. My dad noticed that instead of coleslaw for one of his sides, he was given broccoli. He decided not to say anything and just eat it. We began eating our meals. My mom cut into her fish and immediately noticed something was wrong. Her fish was undercooked, and she couldn't even eat or look at it. My chicken sandwich wasn't hot or warm at all, and in my opinion, was flavorless. My mom only ate the fries from her plate--refusing to eat the undercooked fish. My dad ate his dish and it was fine--other than having the wrong side. My sister ate her dish, and there was nothing wrong with it at first. We waited and waited for the waiter to come by, which felt like forever. He eventually came by and dropped off the sauces we had asked for earlier, and my sister told him about our mom's dish. He took the dish away and we patiently waited. At this point, I had lost my appetite and could not continue eating. My sister was still eating--as she ate her mashed potatoes, she found a hair in them. I told her not to move it or take it out, and to leave it in the dish. A couple of minutes later, what seemed to be the manager of the restaurant came to our table asking about the undercooked fish. In addition to the fish, I mentioned how my sister had just found a hair in her mashed potatoes. Both my mom and sister explained everything to him. He offered to cook another fish for my mom, but she said no. He continued and continued to offer, asking my sister and mom if they wanted any other dish--they said no. He then said the two dishes would be taken off our tab. He continued to offer us food; this time, he offered anything off the dessert menu. We politely declined and just asked for the check. He then took my sister's dish away. Shortly after, the check came to the table. What is worse than the terrible food? The prices! Given that two dishes were taken off our tab, we were only paying for our appetizer, drinks, and two dishes. The food was not worth even half the amount of money we paid. After leaving the restaurant, I went on Yelp and looked at the reviews--which I should've done much earlier. I saw a lot of reviews about bad service and one or two reviews about people feeling sick after eating at the restaurant. My only hope is that my family and I don't get sick. Overall, it was a horrible experience: bad service, bad food, and bad prices. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Save your money!!!

Greeted warmly greeted when we first entered with only a five minute wait ( we had a reservation and I highly recommend making one). Again warmly welcomed by our server Nicole who provided an outstanding service throughout the evening. Nicole was friendly, engaging and offered excellent dinner and drink suggestions. Live music was on tap on this Friday evening which did make the dining room rather loud for holding table conversations but worth the live music being played that evening. The cocktail menu offers a good and varied selection of mixed drinks and wine and the mixed drinks are both flavorful and expertly presented. I would highly recommend both the Flappers Folly ( a refreshing floral mix) and the Espresso Martini drinks. Started off with the hot honey & bacon brussel sprout appetizers which were perfectly flavored with the honey and bacon bits over crispy brussel sprouts. All main dish items were very good. The Old Sport Burgers were juicy, flavorful and all cooked to perfection served with crispy string French fries. The French Dip Au Jus was well seasoned and not to dry with a flavorful au jus. I would highly recommend the Gatsby Grain dish bowel. Shredded chicken served over jasmine rice and vegetables was outstanding and served with a side salad. Restaurant manager Cathy was very visible in the dining room checking in with every table and asking for feedback which you don't see very often nowadays. As I mentioned, we went here to try this new burger. My friend and I both agreed that it wasn't bad, but the queso really didn't add much to the burger flavor, just made the bun soggy. The burger was very good on its own, and I will just order that alone next time. Unfortunately, after dinner, I was left with a major stomach ache that lasted throughout the night. Started with the French Onion soup which was not piping hot but which had a thick layer of cheese on top. Went with the basic turkey club sandwich with a side salad. The Rock Burger and Chicken Caesar Salad wraps went over well although one order of fries were a little dry ( my friends comment). Passed on dessert as we all had other places to be but overall a great place to grab a burger or sandwich. Restaurant features a bar and separate dining area offering table service. Plenty of TVs to catch a game or catch up on sport center recaps. Outside tables available weather permitting. Parking lot does fill up quickly. Must most impressed me was the waitress service. Nicole deftly serviced several tables never losing composure and maintaining a smile throughout. An asset to the establishment.

Fantastic service in a cute local bar. This was my second visit and I had a great time!…read more The food is decent. I haven't had anything mind-blowing yet, but nothing bad either. The garlic & oil wing sauce is a dry toss and tastes super bland, I do not recommend that one! The honey garlic was great! Loved the southwest eggrolls. I would visit again, but I want to try more popular menu items next time!
