My wife and I go to Bahama breeze a lot and the food is always good. We often done around the outside fireplace and listen to music which is always a great Vibing environment. The margaritas are definitely tasty and a thing to go for as well as the live entertainment. Do you feel like you're sitting Beachside down on the coast. The staff can sometimes see a little impersonal and non-attentive but most of the time they do a great job. Recommended. read more

Just a quick drive by because I was feeling a little breezy... I called the wife, and here we are. The mojito Cubano hit the spot after a hard day. Dark Horse Merlot, conch fritters and chowder appetizers got the ball rolling. I had the seafood paella, which was surprisingly good. It reminded me of paella from home. The cheesburger, I was told, was very good. My complaints, no silverware when we sat down, apps before drinks, and no pen to sign the check. We didn't get a bag for our takeout. If you go to Bahama Breeze, you want Tamya as your server. She took very good care of us. I've waited tables before and can appreciate the effort it takes to deliver all the components, keep drinks topped, and clear dishes without being neglectful or bothersome. Tamya balanced it all very well. I should have taken pictures, but didn't. We started with Citrus Garlic wings. They were crispy, but still juicy. They were tangy like like a honey mustard but better with just a little spicy kick.. We were all very happy with our entree orders, coconut shrimp tacos with Sriracha sauce, the paella bowl, and the salmon tostada salad, cooked medium. Everything was tasty and prepared very well. I think the salmon might have even been better with a little of the Sriracha sauce on it. It was a special day, so there was a dessert to be shared. We chose key lime pie. It was a quarter of a pie!!! Everything tasted correct for a key lime made anywhere at from southern Florida. That's the 3rd time I've eaten at Bahama Breeze. I've yet to be disappointed. read more

Food the last few times I've been there. They did not have two dishes I was asking for. However, I had fish tacos on my last lunch there and they were pretty good. Not fully Mexican but they were definitely good quality for Tennessee. The drinks though, they're always excellent. Drinks are on specials every night after 9pm. And they're delicious. read more

I haven't been here in a while and I see why. I do understand that it was a Saturday night and I wasn't in a rush but to be sitting at a bar waiting to be greeted and watching the bartenders and server talking, laughing and cussing behind the bar was really weird. I would've have minded if I just had the menu with water and waited but I was just sitting there watching them disregard the people sitting at the bar while they sat behind the bar talking. I waited almost 10 mins just to get a menu. When I finally did get a bartender he was the best and so nice. I was waiting for a group to arrive so I just was at the bar for a drink and app. But when we did get to the table lol our server there def was not friendly. He came to the table did not greet just starting throwing coasters and napkins on the table and Said "y'all ready to order" the group was so in shocked we just laughed. I went with a large crowd after an event and we had a great time! The waitresses we so professional and helpful, and they made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The food was delicious. I had shrimp and lobster quesadillas. They were really good. I love how all of the ingredients meshed well together. I also had the Jerk chicken wings. When I tell you that they were so good and tender and tasty...believe me! You have to experience them. I haven't been to a Bahama Breeze in almost a decade so I was unsure what to expect, but our dinner lived up to the memories. On a Friday night at around 5:30pm they were absolutely packed! However the staff were on top of their game and got us seated only after about a ten minute wait. If you are going to stop by I recommend taking advantage of their awesome happy hour deals which include appetizers. We got coconut shrimp, dynamite shrimp, and tostados. Each was under 6 dollars and was a large portion. The sauces were great! We also split a large portion of jerk chicken pasta. It wasn't as spicy as I expected but the serving side was huge! I also ordered a margarita sampler and it was delicious. I will be back to try their other cocktail sampler. For dinner and drinks for two our bill was a little over 50 dollars, but we got twice as much food as we would somewhere else for that price and great service. Can't wait to come back! read more

I came here while in town for Memphis in May. My service, food, and cocktail were all good. I was pleased. I had the shrimp and grits, which was very tasty. At the suggestion of my waitress, I had the Bahama Mama cocktail, which was a rum-filled delight! I also had a decent-sized side caesar salad as well, which was good. The Caribbean theme here is very nice and consistent. The food menu and drink menu alike are extensive. The prices aren't cheap but not too expensive either. The only thing missing would be the sound of the surf breaking on the beach outside! Our party of 4 ate here Saturday evening. We've eaten at Bahama Breeze in Orlando & were excited about finding one in Memphis. It was a little disappointing. We were seated after a short wait and ordered drinks (2 alcoholic, 2 non-alcoholic) as soon as the server came by. After about 10 minutes, I flagged down another server to ask about our drinks. It appeared our server had gone on to other tables & forgotten about our drinks. When he finally returned with the drinks, we then placed our order for 4 pasta dishes & one house salad. It took awhile, but the house salad came ... and was almost immediately followed by our pasta entrees. Not the end of the world, but a little annoying to have my pasta dish get cold while I tried to hurry & finish my salad. Three of us had the jerk chicken pasta, and all agreed it was good. Overall, not a horrible experience, but not sure we'll go back to this location. The building appeared to have seen better days, and the disappointing service didn't help. read more

****LONG POST****This was my first time at this restaurant on Sunday 1/15/23 & I probably won't be back. I had a group of 13 teenagers & adults & if you add the babies (1m & 18m) we had a total of 15 for my sons Birthday. We previously were supposed to go elsewhere, but the wait time was 2 hours (they didn't take reservations for that size group online or over the phone, we would've had to come in), so someone in my group suggested Bahama Breeze & I said ok, because I heard good things about it & it was right across the parking lot. I called twice & their recording was on, I opted to speak to someone & the phone just rang & rang...no answer (my phone call was made at 3:02pm & 3:04pm), so I just went over & asked about seating a group of 13 & two babies, the gentleman was polite, he said give him a second & he asked a black female with dreads on his earpiece & she came out the back and was motioning her head no. So she said that they don't seat more than 8 guest and they seat the larger groups after 8p & that day it would be 9p. I then said we don't have to sit together, you can just split us up & she said no it still would be a group. I then went to tell my guest & we decided well I'll just go in & get a table for 8 & the late ones can get them a table, so we did & it was 8 of us plus the toddler so little Miss Rude said it was 9, but the toddler sits with her Mother. Well she ended up seating us & our waitress was sweet, just a little slow. As we were waiting on our food, I see them preparing for a large group (I counted 18 chairs) & of course I'm fuming. I asked to speak to a manager and he came over, he said they had a reservation, but online you can only make it for 8 guest, and mind you I did try to call. My late guest arrived & they sat in a booth next to us & that was fine, but I would've loved for all of us to sit together. Now on to the food, it had no seasoning whatsoever. I ordered wings (that were cooked to hard & was just warm) as an appetizer, the buffalo sauce was on the side & I didn't want to toss them myself in the sauce, but my cousins which had a different waiter hers came already tossed & they got their appetizers & entrees in a timely manner, waaayyyyyy faster than we did. Now my entree was not seasoned at all, I ordered the Sirloin & coconut shrimp with potatoes & a side salad, the sirloin, shrimp & potatoes were not hot at all & I ordered my sirloin medium & it was more medium well to well done. My daughter said her burger wasn't seasoned either & had a childs portion of fries & she's grown & my son....the Birthday boy didn't eat his tenders it looked like they had been sitting there, he ate some of his fries, but he did enjoy his Ultimate Pineapple & so did my other son. This was not a good experience at all the drinks were ok, just needed to be a little stronger. This was our first time visiting this place . We sat at the bar and the bartender was great as far as being helpful and made great recommendations. The atmosphere was cool . There were some pretty cool drinks served by the bartender although we just drank beer. The beer selection was ok. I wish they had a bigger selection of craft beers especially the local breweries. They did have a few and they have their own beers. Wife had the coconut shrimp tacos that were awesome. I had the seafood panella this was very good but I liked the shrimp tacos better.
