Seafood paella was recommended by waitress ... really bad choice and it's our first time at this restaurant while visiting Orlando. Very salty, not good presentation at all... chicken pieces look like the Cook didn't want to cut them up into bite size lol. It looked really bad and I ate about a 1/4 of the plate... only because I was really hungry. No comments from the waitress and we didn't ask for any adjustments either but want to warn anyonee visiting town.

This place is consistently good, no matter which location we eat at, and the food is almost always the same. Bahama Breeze is always a must stop whenever we're in FL, and we cross our fingers one day that they'll open up one of these up North!

I fell in love with Bahama Breeze on previous visits to Orlando, so I was disappointed that both of my visits this time around were just 'meh.' The food was mostly good (yum to the pineapple bowls and Bahamarita drinks, just average on the salad and empanadas, pass on the tostones appetizer), the service is so-so (average service speed, not a lot of attention once you've received your food). And I was sad to learn the plantain sliders are no longer on the menu -- those were the best. Great place to get drinks and beat the heat, but don't know that it's as amazing as it was on my previous visits.

Had a good visit for lunch. Restaurant is clean and well kept. My son loves the strawberry lemonade here. I love the Bahamarita because it is sweet, frozen drink full of flavors. My son loves the macaroni and cheese. We also really liked the lobster and shrimp fettuccine. Huge serving size and it was very full of seafood. We loved the creamy sauce. Moderately priced restaurant food for families with a beachy, island vibe.

OMG this place is amazing. Definitely my go to place ,,,,10 out of 10! I really hate that I've learned of the future closing of this restaurant, this saddens me!! The service is always great even though they get very busy! I'm gonna miss getting my Bahama mama..... The drinks and food are always top-tier at a wonderful price.

Pleasantly surprised by how good this place was! The flavors of this fish were very tropical and delicious. The drinks were fruity and yummy. I'd highly recommend if you're in there area.

Bahama breeze's happy hour is great! Half price apps and reasonably priced drinks! What more can you ask for? We got the shrimp appetizer and the beef empanadas (ask for extra seasoned sour cream) it's so good! We ordered a burger and of course a bahamarita. If you have never been it is not authentic Caribbean food it is Americanized but there is something there for everyone and I would definitely recommend going during happy hour times to try many apps for half price

The service was excellent, our server Alberto was very cordial and knowledgeable regarding the menu. The appetizers were my favorite. The Chicken Pineapple Bowl was way too sweet for my taste but everything else was tasty.

The alcapurria was absolutely delicious, traditional Puerto Rican taste. Now the tostones appetizers were not my favorite. The chicken did not taste good. I personally will not order this again. As for the food, I ordered the pollo a la plancha with white rice and beans. Of course it was absolutely delicious and flavorful. I would say the chicken was a bit dry. It could use some sautéed peppers and onions next time. Other than that everyone else at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. When I'm in Florida, I will definitely come back. Service was outstanding and I love the decor in this restaurant.

When I got to the business to get my order (literally as I'm pulling in) I get a notification that my order was cancelled. I go inside, ask about my order, the hostess pulls my order on the screen and then said Uber Eats was down. I reorder what I selected and they did not honor the price (despite her pulling my order) that I was quoted on Uber Eats. I'm sad because I was looking forward to this but I did not want to pay almost double the price and it felt like that's why my order was canceled.

As we walked in, Bobbi greeted us with a smile and was helpful to show us our table which was this cozy booth in the back corner surrounded by velvet drapery and Moroccan inspired glass lamps (confused me too). She allowed us to head to the bar for a round cocktails while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Drinks are a little pricey and 20% gratuity is already included so be vigilant of that! When we sat down, Daniel our server was absolutely wonderful. He gave us a tour of the menu which was exceptional. We ordered the goat cheese appetizer and empanadas - both, fantastic. They serve dinner rolls which is accompanied by a delicious butter spread. We ordered the ribeye, ordered medium rare, but it felt a little on the rare side. Wasn't easy to eat, so may not have been the best quality meat, but it was fine. The birthday boy had the short rib which he described as Devine! The table side Alfredo presentation was quite exciting as well! My only negative comment was that they didn't really have a birthday experience. They delivered a glass of champagne and had a happy birthday card, but nothing compared to what you can experience at other I-Drive establishments. I would dine here again because the experience was lovely and I would like to try the fish next time!

Portions are ginormous. Grilled Caesar salad (1/5) - tasted like salad in a bag from grocery store. Beans did not belong. Dressing was over powering. Octopus (3.5/5) - mole sauce was smoky and delicious! Octopus itself was rubbery and dry. Tasted previously frozen. Hamachi crudo (3/5) - fish was fresh! Leche de tigre was not freshly made. Instead of fresh squeezed lime, it tasted like lime juice from one of those plastic green lime shaped bottles at grocery store. Short rib (4/5) - solid short rib but nothing unique Smoked pork belly (2/5) - Pork belly tasted like box from Trader Joe's. Skin was tough. Why they market as yakiniku?? It was just a teriyaki sauce. Cornbread was from a box and soaked in sugar. Cocktails overly sweet. Also tasted premixed. Glasses looked dull and needed a second wash. Ambiance: our reservation was at 6:45pm on MDW. It was completely empty. It felt like being the first ones at a club because you didn't want to pay cover. Table decor was noticeably cheap (plastic dollar tree flowers, plastic decorations, etc) Bathroom was disgusting. Felt like a gas station. No paper towels??? I had to use a Dyson air dryer to dry my hands. After paying for a $400 meal, can I at least get a paper towel to dry my hands? Overall, feels like a club and tastes like a club. Not upscale restaurant. Everything looked a little better after a couple drinks. Without drinks, this place fails to deliver in food and ambiance.

I can only imagine in the evenings this place gets even better as the music and dancing really fires up. We stopped in for Happy Hour and it was phenomenal. Jessamine was our waitress and she crushed it the whole time. She was full of personality and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I grabbed a Cuba Libre and we split the Dragon Street Meatballs. The cocktail was no frills and perfect, rum forward with just enough lime and cola flavor to really make it pop more than a rum and coke. The meatballs had such a great zing to them and the sauce was great. We also grabbed a pair of the "Shot of Hope" charity shots because for $5 you get to support a great cause AND enjoy a great tasting shot. The empanada came LOADED with shredded beef and this empanada didn't skimp out on quality. It tastes so good when you dip it with the green sauce and it was chef's kiss. I think this is the best empanada I ever had and when I tried other empanada, it doesn't even compare to this. I ordered another dish but I forgot the name and it's soo good. I was a little disappointed because the menu said pick 3 sides and I chose all beef. Alfredo didn't mention to me that there would be an additional charge for the beef. As a result, I had to pay an additional $10 which was very pricey and didn't find out until I received my bill and saw the charge. I didn't make any complaints because the employees seem not to speak English well and it's hard to be a foreigner trying to adapt to the culture and the language. But this is soo good and I can see why the reviews on yelp are all stellar.

They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.
