Sat at the bar bc it was readily available. Service was TERRIBLE. Never even got napkins or silverware. Our meals took over 90 minutes to be delivered. It was Valentine's Day but *everyone* around us was served *and left* before we got our food. I ordered a shrimp po boy...the roll was so unbelievably hard, I gave up trying to bite into it and just ate the contents. We had a wonderful meal here! Our server, Kimberly was excellent and on top of everything. Chef Matt was keeping a close eye on everything going on in the restaurant which is great to see. Everyone working was so nice to us and pulled us into the middle of the room to have the restaurant patrons sing us a song for our Anniversary. The Crab Daddy dinners were perfectly cooked, but I got it with the special house sauce and asked for it to be mild and no Cajun spice. It was still too spicy but Kimberly brought me melted butter which fixed it. The soup was delicious. I got it with lemon wedges on the side. Even better! So we didn't hit this spot the last couple of years we've been here in Orlando but my wife kept hyping up the nachos and the food so we just checked into our room and decided to take a Lil drive. Found it and we were promptly seated. Wife and i are looking for the nachos but they're not on the menu so we ask our server and he says they just changed menus but he goes back to the kitchen and gets us hooked up. We also get the Great American Boil and our food is promptly served. Also ordered a cocktail and it was so good. We have a great time and the food was great as was the service. Hubby and I stopped in here for lunch. So glad we did. Our waitress Zainab was superb. The place was clean and nice open atmosphere. Food came out nice and hot, Zainab kept our drinks refreshed. We ordered the Joes Classics each. The dungeons crabs were huge, full of meat, juicy and sweet. As well as the shrimps, corn, tasty sausages and potatoes. This is a nice place on I-Drive. It's pretty spacious with plenty of seating inside and outside. The bar area is smaller but there were plenty of seats available while I was there. Our server was great. Very attentive and polite. It seemed he was the only server but managed to handle it all. Great job Diamontae! We enjoyed the Calamari as an appetizer. My daughter absolutely loved the Cajun mixed sea food. I really enjoyed the music playing while we were eating. It's located right accross from Point Orlando. My extended family and I always have such a great experience at Joe's Crab Shack, and I especially want to take a moment to recognize Darius (international drive in Orlando) for his outstanding service and kindness. Especially towards my 7 year old son who always asks to go see his best friend Darius at Joes Crab Shack. What stood out to me the most was how not only is he great to us, he is wonderful with my son. He was so patient, and kind to him, and it truly meant a lot to me as a mother. You can tell when someone is simply doing their job versus when someone genuinely cares about making people feel welcome, and Darius truly made us feel special. He even knows my sons birthday and threw him a surprise birthday party with decorations and balloons!!! His kindness really stood out, and I left feeling grateful that we had the opportunity to be served by someone who clearly takes pride in what he does. Employees like Darius are a huge asset to any restaurant. Great food and a nice atmosphere are important, but exceptional people are what truly make an experience memorable. Darius made a lasting impression on both my son and me and all of my family members that we always bring to y'all and I wanted to make sure his kindness and excellent service were recognized. Was invited by a friend to join for dinner, after several years of not going (not for lack of interest, just never got to it). Our server Joe was very sweet and attentive. The Kitchen Manager Kimberly sat down with us to go over my allergy needs and assured us that she would take great care of us(and even offered to make me something off the menu if I couldn't find something). The food came out fresh, hot, and fast. It was nice to not worry about anything and just enjoy talking with a friend I rarely get to sit down and just relax with. We came here after a long day at Universal. I love the variety they have on their menu and their alcoholic drinks are a good price and you can get a souvenir cup depending on what you order. We were excited to find a Joe's Crab Shack in Orlando, as the ones in Chicagoland all seem to have closed down. This one is located near ICON Park, so it's a nice, fun area. The restaurant is large and has a fun theme. Service was friendly. We ordered a shrimp & seafood ensemble, which included coconut shrimp, popcorn shrimp, regular fried shrimp, fries, hush puppies, and fish. It was enough food for my wife, son, and I to share. After a long hiatus, it was satisfying, although I wouldn't say anything was exceptional except the coconut shrimp and hush puppies. Still, it was nice and seemed like a good value. read more

The atmosphere is themed very well. Lots of nautical decor. The corner we were in was very dim though. I thought that we could use a little more light. Service here is very friendly and quick! The food is honestly just average but good to satisfy the need for seafood. I like how there are many different options from fried, to boiled, to grilled for many types of seafood. The pricing is relatively good too for the area. I got the pirate's platter and it was way more good than I needed as one person. Went here on a Wednesday night and surprisingly it wasn't that busy and we were able to get seated right away. The service was amazing since they were super aware of when we needed water refills and were constantly checking in on us. We took the I-Drive Trolley back to our hotel which was super accessible since the stop was just a short walk away. Always love the food and ambiance at joe's crab shack. Visited on a Monday night and almost no one was there. Our server was extremely friendly and took our order quickly. The food took longer than most spots to come out, but I enjoyed my meal. My friends did not love theirs as much. King Crab Cluster ($11.99 when ordered with an entree): I got this steamed with a side of butter but you can choose to get it Cajun style or with garlic etc. I thought the flavor was good - I like crab, so no complaints. Cup of Clam Chowder ($4.99 when added to an entree): Flavor was good, extremely small portion for a cup but it was filling and comes with oyster crackers. Waitress gave us extra crackers too! Fish and Chips: Fish was soggy. Taking this home and popping it in the air fryer would've restored it. Lacked flavor (needed salt). Grilled Tilapia: Friend asked for it grilled but it came blackened (or burnt). Said the rice and veggies were cold. He gave it 2 stars. Seafood Ensemble: A mix of fish, fried shrimp, and coconut shrimp. I tried the coconut shrimp and it was weird - tasted like honey bunches of oats granola type cereal and the shrimp was flavorless and mushy. Wouldn't recommend. They have a really good happy hour. The drinks were terrible. I order a mojito and my cousin order a Long Island. It cost us $6.00 so we were like meh! No need to complain. They closed all the Joe's Crab Shack locations in the New York/Nj area and somehow there's multiple locations in FL. Anyways, I went around 3:30pm on a Thursday afternoon and sat in a booth. It was quite empty inside the restaurant, but I noticed that everyone shows up at 4pm. My server told me that they no longer serve the crab legs in the pot, they've changed to the steam bags. I placed my order of queen crab legs steam pot of mussels, sausage, corn, potatoes and shrimp. My server brought it out to my table, shaked the flavors around in the bag and poured it out onto a platter. Yes, I ate it all. Still perfect! read more

This was my first time to a Joe's in well over a decade. I was in the area for my job and needed to grab some dinner. Since the places across the street were all packed and I was looking for something healthier, I thought Joe's might have some healthy seafood options. I sat at the bar and it took a LONG time to even get a drink. The bartender was overwhelmed, and she was working very hard. The manager came in to help, which was good to see. I ordered salmon, which came with rice and veggies. The salmon and veggies were good, but the rice was absolutely gross. It was like it had been sitting out for hours and hours.....hardened and stuck in a giant clump. Overall, I was quite disappointed, but I'll give them a bit of a break because it seemed to be a bit of an off day. read more

I came here not expecting much and getting a little better than expected. I was given a gift card for this restaurant and didn't want it to go to waste. My family and I came in a Friday night expecting it to be very busy, but it wasn't at all. However, we still had to wait an exceptionally long time to be seated because there was no hostess at the hostess stand. When she returned from "in the back" and we were seated, our server came out quickly and was very attentive. Until we received our food and then she seemed to disappear as well. She only refilled one person's drink and we couldn't find her, so I had to refill my water with that person's water because I was so parched. As for the food, the coconut shrimp was good. I could Pass on the Joe's sampler. I felt like the sea food dip was pretty runny (but it had good flavor), the great balls of fire and the calamari were pretty flavorless. I ordered the salmon and did enjoy that very much. The asparagus was also cooked well -nice and crispy. My husband ordered the stuffed flounder and he was underwhelmed by it. Overall, this was as expected for a large chain sea food restaurant. I would return if I had another gift card, but I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here again otherwise. read more

My family are crab enthusiasts and we've had the opportunity to try several different Joe's Crab Shack locations over the years. I found this one too be a bit different from the others. We were excited to find a Joes in Orlando while on vacation. We definitely had to try it! Made our reservation and skipped lunch! The address was very easy to find and is located on the corner of a lot and across from Icon park and the Orlando eye. When we arrived the inside restaurant was empty and we were seated outside. There were a few tables in use out there. The patio overlooks the street. This location has a playground for the kids very close to the tables. I found this to be nice for young families. The location isn't bad but I think we were just hoping for more of a vacation vibe as thats what we are accustomed to with other Joe's locations. The food was ok. It wasn't amazing or terrible. I think for a high tourist location they could wow it up a little. It was a mediocre experience but we ate. I likely would not visit again. read more
