We had called before hand and they said they would not accept the online order, we get there, and they inform us they are only accepting online orders. Came here tonight instead since Freshe wasnt open since my son wanted something sweet after dinner. First time here and really disappointed at all the artificial stuff they put in these things. Spent almost 10 mins trying to customize an order for me that incorporated non dairy and real fruit...so I got the Bohama Colada smoothie with a banana and son got a combo of the top 3 flavors. My kids love this place as a special treat and we have had a fairly consistent positive experience at Bahama Bucks. The restaurant is well maintained in terms of cleanliness and the team working here is efficient, handling long lines with ease. I once sat outside with our dog while the kiddos got their treats and an employee brought our dog an ice treat just for her. That was unexpected and very nice. On our most recent visit they'd run out of whip cream, which seems like a basic supply that should be maintained but it certainly wasn't the end of the world. Lots of flavors and options to choose from so there's nearly something for everyone. Please read before you visit. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I've had in a while. And that's not easy to say since customer service has gone down during the pandemic and post-pandemic. We drove more than 30 minutes on Sunday in order to enjoy a bahama bucks. First we called to order by phone. They claimed they cannot take any orders by phone. Then we arrived and there's four ladies working. The open sign is still on. And it's not closing time yet. However they refused to Service because they were already cleaning the equipment. Note to management: why don't you just change your hours? If you're open, be open. Or teacher staff to close and turn off the sign and lock the doors. To make matters worse they just laughed at us. It was the attitude displayed that was the most worrisome. It was complete utter disregard for the customer. There are so many ways to say to the customer, "I'm sorry were already closed. Here's a discount for the next time you come in" or "I am so sorry it's been a long day we just wanna go home". That we would completely understand. But again it was the complete lack of customer service and the laughing at the customer that just did it for me. Never coming again to this location. read more

Love this place. So many flavors to choose from, super refreshing. The man helping me out last time was really kind and very patient! I got horchata + creamsicle last time with condensed milk and it was awesome. the last time I came, I got tiger's blood and caramel apple which I was not quite as excited about. The flavors can get kinda overwhelming when you're deciding which to get. Ask for a sample or two! It helps out a lot. Also, being able to upgrade for free with a yelp check-in is really nice. This is a great location! The employees are always nice to us and make excellent recommendations. All Bahama Bucks have the most amazing shaved ice. It is the consistency of fresh snow. They have tons of flavors including many sugar free options. There is a large menu with other items, but we only ever go for the shaved ice. AMAZING SERVICE!!!! I came in with my four boys to get a delicious treat after the heat and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by extremely kind girls and great service. We ordered some snow cones and it took not even five minutes for all five to be made! The tables and bathrooms were very clean and the quality was incredible. First time visiting this location. My three star rating is based on the syrup flavors being 2 stars, while the shaved ice itself was four stars; very similar to what I am used to in Honolulu. I am from Honolulu and my GF has been introduced to shaved ice over the last five years. Each year, we go back to Honolulu on vacation, and we have to eat shaved ice at least a couple of times each trip. So we have been craving shaved ice again so we tried Bahama Bucks'. The ice is great, and we tried our "go to" flavors of mango and pineapple, but both flavors were weird tasting and actually tasted a bit off. I might give this place one more try, but for different flavors. Maybe a better solution is to find another shaved ice place with my flavors that I might like. read more

I came into the chandler location on ocotillo and Arizona. I have a FULLY PUNCHED stamp card with all 10 punches , obviously I'm a loving costumer and spend a lot of money here and they refused to honor my punch card for my free item because they "switched to the app". As a business owner, that's honestly bull crap. I understand yes you work with an app now, but if a customer spends tons of money at your business and they have it on a card why wouldn't you honor it and tell them to use the app forward on? I called the Tempe location and they said they would honor me along with the Gilbert and queen creek location will all take stamped cards from before the app. They said "we even accept them if they're halfway punched". So clearly it's not a fully forbidden end of the world do no accept but these employees and manager chose to upset me when they probably couldn't put it past them as a one time honor. Even damn coffee rush who is now app only still honors punches from the physical cards before they switched to all electronics. It's like half the world has no common decency and kindness and are willing to upset a customer over an easy situation that didn't need to have an issue. I'll gladly stick to Gilbert. read more

Although the line was out the door for the free snow day, they were very efficient and made the snow very quickly. The "menu" I found to be oddly complex. I ended up ordering the smallest size sour cherry. It was pretty good although a tad sweeter than I prefer. The one thing that struck me as odd was the number of employees on duty...there were a hoop of them and I was the only one in the store and no signs of anyone coming soon. The kids that work here are usually quite nice and helpful, especially for teenagers. The owner of the franchise location is here occasionally and is always super nice.
