The elderly woman was very short with me and did not make the environment very welcoming. One of the employees was reprimanded very harshly for something that wasn't even his/her fault. I did not like the environment but the frozen hot koko was still very delicious. read more

This place is exactly what's needed on a nice warm Texas day! Once you walk into this place you will instantly find yourself overwhelmed in the giant list of flavors to choose from. There is sure to be a flavor for everyone from sour patch to sugar cookie. Unlike other snow cone places this location will be sure to soak it with the flavor of your choice. They have many sizes to choose from. I always order the small and find it plenty as they fill it well over the top. I usually order sour patch and sour strawberry topped with sour patch sauce! One of the awesome staff members had me try the sour patch sauce and oh my did it not disappoint! Every staff member is incredible and will let you sample any flavors you would like to try. I've been to this restaurant twice before and had good experiences, but this time was a little different. When I was ordering I asked the lady if the drink I wanted was still available, and she told me yes. 30 minutes in to waiting, after both the other people I went with had been given their orders, a server finally came over to me and told me that it was not available. This means that they hadn't even started working on it yet after 30 minutes. I picked a different drink. After another 10 minutes, it came out in the wrong size and had to be redone. Completely respectable snocones! Not my favorite, but given how hard snocones are to come by in CP/Leander I'm happy to have a fairly close second fairly close by. Plus, drive-thru! I got my standard wedding cake with cream, the flavor by which I judge all snocone places. It was tasty, enough syrup but not so much that the ice got melt-y too fast. They go a little light on the cream, and only put it on top though. They have a huge favor menu & lots of non-snocone options for...well, I have no idea who wouldn't want a snocone! For the price it's a great place to go. However it pretty hit and miss too. A few times I've gone there have been chunks of ice in my shaved ice. Wasn't too happy about it. And their Tigers blood taste like Hawaiian Punch. Yuck! But when it's hot enough, I still stop by. read more

I was really excited to try some shaved ice, as I walked in the tables and floors were super disgusting. Looked like they let the kids trash their floor with the syrup but I was still interested in trying an original flavor for shaved ice...tigers blood. It tasted like it had cinnamon and some red flavoring I couldn't put my finger on( wasn't yummy)Although I do like when people put their own flavor to things it just wasn't a great experience and shaved ice wasn't worth it. My kids and I really enjoy this place. They have a large selection of flavors and it's always fun to try something new. The employees are always friendly and upbeat. They are usually crowded in the afternoons, but they have a drive through which helps to avoid the line inside. read more

Seriously took 40 minutes to get three snow cones. When we finally got to order, they handed us over to three different people because of microphone issues. We went on a Sunday afternoon at three so, not the busiest time. There was no real excuse for this and we were really disappointed. read more

I have been here twice. The first time I got a sugar free flavor and the after taste was so bad, I couldn't keep eating it. The second time I went I got the pickle juice flavor and it wasn't pickle juice!! It was more like that twang pickle salt. It was terrible. I had to throw that one out too. How disappointing. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. My son's birthday is in December, which means no swimming parties or other typical summer birthday parties. It's hard to find something fun and original in December. I thought that snow would be fun, and an ice company referred me to Bahama Buck's. I ordered 300 snowballs for 11am on Sunday. They don't open until 1, but the manager said they would come in early to complete my order. When I got there, the manager and 2 employees had made the snowballs, and delivered them to my car. My son and his friends had such a blast with the snowball fight. It's hard to find a business willing to open early, especially on a Sunday. The manager even called later to check in. This place is such a great hangout for families and Tweens-teens! There are Yummy shaved ices in so many flavors I can't even count, including crazy ones like pickle juice, and adding a scoop of ice cream to a flavor like root beer float or Jamaican rum is heavenly. However, my favorite thing about BBs is the friendly environment. It's a great spot for kids to come and have some social time, maybe a double date. Yum. The best shaved ice in town. This place had lots of staff so the drive thu and the indoor moved fairly quickly. Mostly a HS hang out with HS students working there. Great family place. You will get a punch card and after you buy 10 of their items, you will get the 11th free, any size! A couple of weeks ago I ordered a party pack for teacher appreciation week. When I arrived to pick it up, I was disappointed to find it was not ready. The manager was quick to apologize and make the situation right. (Upgraded from a junior to a full party pack for the same price) Twenty minutes later...some very surprised and happy teachers. One even commented that it made her day!! The snocones were great! Love that the texture is truly like snow. I appreciate how the manager stepped up and helped me make some teachers smile. We love this place and frequent it often and though the service is not the reason we go, tonight it was exceptionally bad. It was not busy and we stood as a family of four for several minutes, made eye contact with several employees wondering if any would acknowledge our presence and take our order. Finally, after awhile, a young man came to the register, didn't greet us, and simply started plugging in my order as I told him. A family next to us had the same trouble and made the comment it was annoying no one was coming to take their order. There was no indication who was in charge, but whoever it was, they were not doing a great job, especially considering there was no one in the drive-thru and only a few families sitting down already with their food. We definitely did not feel like our business was wanted as they all stood around chatting, and doing odd and end jobs. Hopefully it was just a one time deal because when going places with a baby & toddler in tow, the last thing we need is to go to a place that is not prompt and efficient with their service. We felt it was very unprofessional and were disappointed in our experience tonight. read more

Great flavors and treats and close to home. Love the super sour flavors. But the prices are too high for ice and syrup, especially if you are buying for a carload of kids. My biggest complaint is the service. The young kids that work there are friendly, cheerful, and seem to be enjoying working there...maybe too much. They move slowly, stand around talking to each other and generally goofing off...even when they are busy. The drive-thru is the worst...which is what I use most of the time to keep from dragging the kids inside. It takes a minimum of 5 minutes per car. That really adds up when there are several cars in front of you. I've seen people pull out of line many times...as have I...after waiting for 10 minutes and not moving an inch. I would stop at this place for a treat more often, especially during this hot Texas summer heat if the wait was not so long. Anymore, if I'm driving by and see more than 1 or 2 cars in line I just drive on by and go to the Sonic just down the street. I like Bahama Bucks shaved ices better than Sonic Slushes but I hate the wait. Maybe the kids working there could save their goofing off for when there are no customers. read more
