This is the first Bahama Buck's I've ever been to, and it was decent. Not the best shaved ice I've ever had but it was pretty up there. They certainly have TONS of flavors - from light, to sour, to seasonal to every traditional flavor you can think of, (and some you've never thought of). There's a bright and cheery atmosphere inside - tons of syrup bottles and big screens to order from. The employees were definitely still in training, but it looked like they were getting the processes down and were kind. The manager was very friendly, and took the time to ask us how everything was. We paid $7 for one regular and one small shaved ice - not a bad deal. So, four stars from me, this is a great place to go! read more

Love it! This is the hot spot for all Leander teens. It is right across from the high school so they like to come here to get their shaved ice on! I say, it's better than crystal meth, so let them have at their ice! I like to drive all the way out here too just for this awesome, truly fluffy shaved ice with wide range of delicious flavors! Pickle juice anyone? Tigers blood? Three different types of cake flavors! Wow! You had me at fuzzy navel! The one caveat here, that I will mention, is that it does matter who makes your shaved ice. I've had ones that were literal works of art and then ones that looked like a graffitied snow ball. The taste was definitely effected by who made this treat. The manager/ dad is on point. This is the 3rd time they have messed up my order. I understand they are busy but it seems the high school students they employee don't take the time to check the order is ever made correctly. I had another cones delivered today and they were all wrong. I absolutely love Bahama Bucks, and this location is no exception. The workers are friendly and they've always gotten my order 100% right. I get the Thin Ice with some mixture of Toasted Coconut (the best flavor), Birthday Cake, and Pina Colada. Guilt free, and it tastes like an icy scoop of heaven. I actually discovered Bahama Bucks while living elsewhere, but now live in South Austin which is a BB desert. When I've had a rough week I often grab an audiobook and take a road trip to Bahama Bucks. Seriously - it's that good. read more

Boy does this place get busy on a hot day after school. Sometimes you can wait 5-10 minutes for your order but I would say it's worth the wait. So refreshing and a great treat to beat the Texas heat. Man this place gets busy on the weekends! They have a huge variety of flavors to choose from - almost TOO many. We got the Tiger Blood and the Jungle Berry Sour. I liked the Tiger Blood - it was super sweet though. The Jungle Berry sour was not my favorite - it was way too sour and the flavor itself was kind of weird. I liked the texture of the ice though and like how you can make so many different flavor combinations. My first time here and I'm definitely coming back! The snow cones here reminds me of home back in New Orleans. The snows are soft and flavorful! And it doesn't melt so quick like most places I've been too! I got the Bahama Rama (alternative name for STUFFED SNOWBALLs) where they stuffed it with any ice cream of your flavor topped with ice and their specialty cream. It's A Must Try!
