I ordered online at 502 pm & received an email that my food would be ready at 517 pm. When I arrived at 525 pm, I was told my food was not ready & to leave & come back in 15 minutes. As I had received an email that my food would be ready at 517, had timed my pick up accordingly (even giving extra time) & yet they were asking me to wait a total of almost 40 minutes, plus the fact there was another customer who was not wearing his mask properly & I was not willing to risk COVID exposure, I requested a refund. Had to try this place finally since it's been a minute since they were established and close to where I commute through. I had ordered takeout, some spicy fried rice added pork with order of crispy eggrolls, order of crab rangoons, and jasmine tea. I felt for the price the rice, you get a good amount of it but was pretty bland and lacked seasoning of some sort not to mention it wasn't spicey how I specifically ordered. The crispy eggrolls and accompanied sauce were amazing and rangoons I'm always incredibly excited to try from anywhere were particularly great. We eat at this place at least twice a week, the food has always been amazing until about 2 weeks ago when we get the exact same item. Today they we're running behind which I love that they are getting busier but as I was waiting for our order, one of the male cooks went to the bathroom with gloves on. I thought this was odd but maybe he will take them off in the bathroom, he was in there for 3-4 minutes. I turned my camera to video, when he came out he had the exact same gloves on and they were dry. I asked him why he did not wash his hands after using the restroom and handling people food. Super bummed. I just received my order of Pad Thai and Chow Mein. Both had zero spice (we ordered 3 and 4 out of 5). Pad Thai ("Stir-fried rice noodles with egg, red onion, sweet radish, green onions and bean sprouts in a homemade Pad Thai sauce and ground peanuts") had 1 little green piece in it (not a green onion), no red onion, detectable egg, or sweet radish. After placing my order, I received an email that I'd be charged $4 more, because their menu was wrong (I'm not sure that's my problem). No forks/utensils of any kind, napkins, nada. Tried this place a few weeks back and was super happy I did. I think that the owner may also own Tup Tim Thai as I recognized her but could be wrong. We got a bunch of take out: stir fry's and several different salads. Everything was great and the place is super cute. Nice open air kitchen with 2 or 3 folks running the whole show. Stopped in Salem on our way to the coast and was to lazy to go out. Seeing as how this place was only 2 miles form where we are parked, we decided to try it out. We ordered the Crispy Spring Rolls and I must say, they were not the usual greasy thing you find. They were nice and light and not a hint of grease, excellent. Next was the Crispy Shrimp Nam Prik Pao. I wish we could have had them fresh from the wok as the shrimp weren't real crispy but they were still tasty plus the fact that they were large shrimp. I ordered the heat index at only 2 stars because the wife is a wuss. It would have been much better to go 3-4 stars. All in all, fast delivery and on time, the meal was still hot. So next time we are in Salem, I'll get my favorite, Pad Thai, and go for the 5 star heat index read more

Best Thai I've had in Salem so far. Moved from Portland and have definitely missed good Thai food. Had the drunken noodles, they we're spicy and full of flavor. Veggies seemed freshly cooked. My partner got the peanut lovers. Sauce was a bit different peanut sauce than I'm used to but still good. I would recommend going for lunch you get soup and a small salad. Service is friendly and fast. I appreciate how clean the restaurant is. A fun addition (which may come from the prior restaurant) is that you are able to see them cook. It seems that this place is fairly new so I wish them luck and would recommend giving it a try. read more

Yummy food and good lunch deals. When you dine in you at lunch and order a lunch special you get the soup of the day which is usually amazing. I ordered salad rolls and drunken noodles. I thought that both items were very well done. The salad rolls had lots of greens which gave them a wonderful tangy flavor and the peanut sauce was really good. The drunken noodles were fantastic. As a person who loved hot Thai food, I can no longer tolerate the heat, so I ordered 1 on their scale and it was great. Loads of flavor, a small hit of heat and lots and lots of chicken. My only issue would be that I would like more basil, but I will know to ask for more next time. Thank you for a great experience and artfully prepared food.
