They're conveniently located right outside the JCP department store on the second floor, across the way. Everyone was very friendly both on the phone and in person. They also went over the repair agreement thoroughly, including the $75 diagnostic fee, which goes toward the cost of any repair. At first, I got a call saying the motherboard was completely damaged and likely beyond repair, which was disappointing. Then the next day, they called back and said they had spent more time looking into it and were actually able to fix it. The repair ended up costing an additional $150, but it was absolutely worth it. My kids' PS5 had stopped accepting discs, and now it's working again. They also advised against relying on random YouTube repair tutorials (oops), since DIY fixes can sometimes make the problem much worse (especially if you're clueless like me). Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back here again, although hopefully I won't need to anytime soon!

Specifically…read morebecause I was curious in working at apple for a side job but I have to always be honest about my experiences. Just like a game of spades after a few good hands your destined for something bad. My luck with the apple store is truly not any different at all. About 2 years ago I had a really terrible experience that was ultimately handled positively. From that point I've had consistently positive experiences with apple. Well that was until this month. On October 1, 2022 I came into the apple store looking to get my horribly cracked phone repaired. I came in at approximately 6:25 without an appointment. Lucky for me they were able to get me in for an appointment for 7:35. I was told to come up to the front and remind them so that they don't forget about me. Context my phone was cracked on the front and back so I was pretty confident they would probably have to repair my phone. Update they ran diagnostics and determined my phone would need to be replaced. They gave me a replacement phone. The person I worked with literally just handed me the phone and said I was all set and walked off. I started to try and enter my information and then quickly discovered that the phone was locked. It took was truly felt like forever for them to figure out what the passcode was. I know what you're probably wondering well surely they went ahead and activated the phone for you but of course they didn't. I had to leave and go upstairs to T-Mobile for them to activate my phone. When I got upstairs they weren't able to activate the phone. We contacted several customer service support agents with no luck at all. Only for T-Mobile to tell me that apple gave me a lock device. At this point I needed to go back downstairs to the Apple Store where I would wait even longer only for them to give me a new loaner. At this point the phone was unlocked so that was a plus the negative is that it took them so long I couldn't go to T-Mobile to get it activated. So after several hours later and a couple phones later I left with a device that didn't work for certain but eventually it would. Yay me.

We priced them out online and of course they get you with updates. We didn't realize till the following day they charged us $100 more than online. There's no question but that Verizon is very expensive compared to other carriers in the Buffalo area. So that's the downside. You agreed to buy the phone, and they have to order it and then they're supposed to call you when it comes in. Only they don't. So when you go back in to see if it's there or when it's expected in, and it turns out that it's been sitting in the back. So it takes hours to get you hooked up. I don't remember that happening when I went from one phone to another with AT&T but that might be because I stayed with the same carrier I'm not sure. And for sure check your bill. Because it definitely was a lot higher than I expected I had to call and get that all fixed. I was kind of a pain.

He wasn't able to reinstate my old #, but I was so happy with his customer service and knowledge base that I don't care. The location was semi-busy all morning, popular site for walk-in traffic. This location is on Delaware, just before Hertel, in a strip shopping center that includes Fleet Feet, a Credit Union, and Little Caesars Pizza. Mark shepherded me through this perplexing issue with patience and kindness. If you ever have reason to visit this location, ask for Mark. He's the best!
