The place is clean enough and comfortable, with lots of windows letting in the light. I ordered the grilled cheese w/bacon and tomato and onion rings. Recommend! Do not however recommend the lemonade, it's that stuff you get from a can or something. My companion had the Think Spring Wrap. A combo of turkey, cucumber, cranberries, lettuce, blue cheese with a vinaigrette. Good combo and a nice texture. All in all a thumbs up. read more

Still enjoy coming here when we're in DC. Food is consistently good, and we usually sit at the bar and have a great time interacting with the staff. There is indoor and outdoor (when the season allows) seating. We've never had an issue with service as mentioned by some others, but we also try not to be here during peak tourist season. Definitely a casual bar vibe, and staff all works well together and is having a genuinely good time. On this trip I got the Aioli Chicken Breast sandwich and my wife got her standby, the Think Summer Wrap. I got a side of sweet potato fries as well. Everything was very good - the fries were warm when they came out, but this version does cool off pretty fast, so pay attention! The aioli was very very good and my wife swears by the wrap. Dive, but I love it. The place was a bit busy but we found a small table perfect for bloodies and apps to watch the game. It's an oldie but goodie and was recommended by our local fishing charter. I had asked for a gin bloodie, and I watched the tender poor a vodka bloodie. When he realized his mistake, he just added gin to the top. It was so busy in there and the tenders were a bit cranky so I didn't complain, but instead asked for extra mixer.... Because in reality I'm a WI girl anyway. We had a group of nine over a holiday weekend and we looked no further than Cornerstone Pub for a group dinner! We had a huge group and they were very accommodating and the wait was only 20-30 minutes. We were all able to sit at one table, which was a nice surprise! The menu is pretty traditional bar food - sandwiches, salads, fish, wings, etc. I had the chicken sandwich with garlic aioli, which was delicious. Service was very friendly and efficient. The seafood chowder is so yummy and worth the trip. I had the pan fried walleye and my husband had the pan fried perch. We both preferred the perch. I would probably try the walleye deep-fried next time. Overall, a great experience. read more

After the wonderful 4th of July parade, we decide we wanted a good burger. My cravings were more that satisfied with the foghorn burger. Absolutely amazing! The service was great - timely, kind, and quick as can be. We also got seating really fast. Maybe we were just lucky. As for the ambiance, it was very nice. At times, it was probably a little bit of a squeeze. This was only due to the craziness of the fourth though. Overall outstanding. Worst service in 30 years of coming to Door County. No contest. After the drink and food order, not a peep from the staff for over an hour. We had to resort to going directly to the coffee station and the bar to get drinks refreshed. After over an hour a staff member (not our server) popped by to explain how busy things were, despite the fact that half of the restaurant had emptied by then. Two of our party had to leave before the food arrived in order to drive back to Chicago. Our server was young, but the lack of communication - like, zero - between the order and when the food finally arrived speaks 100% to poor management and terrible training. On a Wednesday during peak tourist season. Inexcusable. I spoke to someone in management about this as we were leaving, who offered a half-hearted apology and asked me if we'd already paid. We had. End of conversation. Amazing. Terrible service, a lack of concern about a table that had been literally ignored for over an hour while other tables were served, paid, and left, and an "oh well" from the manager on duty. No offer to make good. It doesn't get much worse than that. I grew up working in Wisconsin supper clubs, and I would have been canned for anything close to this. We're a family FROM Door County, some of whom still visit every summer, others that we rarely see visiting this year from the coasts. And none of us can remember ever getting such terrible service. I know the rest of our table will be talking about this experience for some time to come. I know I will. No news travels faster, or farther, than bad news. Again, I can't blame the staff, they've obviously not been given any kind of hospitality training at all. This is 100% the fault of management. If you're looking for a great Door County dining experience, don't bother with the Cornerstone Pub in Baileys Harbor. read more

I cannot stress to you enough how good the prime rib was. It was incredible, but you can only get it on Saturday. Defin one of the best prime ribs in my life, and I tried the salmon that another family member got and I was impressed. I hope to go back to Door County again because it was solid. read more

For a change we both ordered the two piece chicken which was crispy on the outside but moist on the inside. The chicken with chips was very good but the seafood chowder was why the 5 stars. Incredibly lively pub with a great atmosphere! The view of Baileys Harbor was right outside. The fish made at this restaurant is caught locally. My fish tacos tasted fresh and delicious! Was seated quickly and she took our drinks. I laughed when I requested a diet Pepsi or coke and said said they only had diet RC. Omg, Took me back to the Rams games drinking RC. I asked what the specialty was and she suggested the seafood chowder. Wow! Incredibly good. Shocking good. This is a must get if you like chowder. My french dip was good. Whenever I visit Door County, I always make sure to order whitefish from somewhere. I was on the hunt for a good (and reasonably priced) place to get my fix when I came across the Cornerstone Pub. I gave it a shot, and boy am I glad I did! There was plenty of street parking, and we were glad we were able to grab a table in the bar (they don't take reservations). All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We all ordered an old fashioned (because, when in Wisconsin...). Not only were the drinks excellent, but they were the cheapest drinks we had while on vacation! Now, on to the food. We all added salads to our meal. Everything was very fresh, and the blue cheese dressing was fantastic . I chose a half-order of whitefish. I had the option of baked, Cajun, or fried. I went with Cajun and thought the flavors complimented the fish well. I was in potato heaven - the red potatoes were so buttery! Another group member got the blackened fish tacos with haddock fillets. The fish was cooked perfectly, and they said it was a wonderfully light meal. TLDR: This place was a great find!
