Went for dinner on Saturday night for a couple drinks & appetizers with my husband. We sat outside to enjoy the nice night. Overall, food & drinks were good. Our waitress was fantastic and super attentive. There were a few rowdy groups from a party inside that would come out for a smoke (even though it's a no smoking area) but whatever, I think that's what you sign up for with a place like this. If it hadn't been for this next part, I would've given Baileys 4 stars. However, as we were sitting on the patio, we saw multiple mice run across the pavement. That was enough for me to never return. Very defensive when she was asked questions ! And AgGRESSIVe . Witness her gossiping to other patrons about the matter, instead of communicating through a solution. So unfortunate because I and we are regular patrons to this neighborhood bar. But I see we will have to find a more welcoming place with better conflicts solution and emotional maturity. Food gets 4 stars. Burger was perfect medium rare. My husband enjoyed his fish and cole slaw. Karaoke gets 1 star. It's advertised to start at 8pm. KJ didn't start until 8:45. My Aunt and I stopped in before the Bears game and we are so glad we did! Our waitress had blonde hair, don't remember her name but she was amazing!! She recommended the burger because it was the special for the game and it truly was one of the best burgers I've ever had! Cooked perfectly medium well and was like $6. Highly recommended! read more

Some of the reviews on here are pretty funny. Someone described it as a "typical dive bar". I don't think that person has ever been to a dive bar in their life lol. I would describe it as a nice, low-key, local bar. They have a lot of regulars who go there and most are very friendly and welcoming. Someone else commented on the female bartenders, flirting with the guys & ignoring everyone else ... That one is half true, there is one who only talks to her regulars & leaves everyone else waiting. Typical dive bar atmosphere and menu. I had the Italian beef sandwich with parm fries. The sando tasted good enough but could have been a little bigger. The fries were pretty good, hot and crispy, but maybe a little overkill on the parm. I wish they had at least one good n/a beer, Sam Adam's, Athletic, or something like that. Been coming here for a few years now, almost exclusively during the day for lunch. The summer patio is delightful with a done-with-Saturday-errands crowd. We normally order from the special board, Fridays the beef sandwich appeals to my husband for price $5. I ordered fish sandwich since I am more Catholic. His sandwich was dry and old beef and thankfully the au jus saved it. About to bite into my fish sandwich, guy with a small kid couldn't refrain from foul language. Not an occasional swear but constant. Not. One. Sentence. Without. An eff word. Ignorant. He has no other vocabulary. Sad this is how he doesn't want to help his kid get an adult vocabulary. Baileys is a solid place for good eats, cold beer from a nice list of choices, nice outdoor area, and pleasant staff. The inside is fairly loud with music and patron noise. A bit hard to here each other as we started at the bar area. Typical bar noise though-to be expected. The outside area had music but was more quiet for our liking and to have conversations without difficulties. Went on a Friday evening around 630pm. Our server, Jess, was friendly and attentive. The food came out fast and perfect. We had blacked chicken and Philly steak. Also a goose island summer brew and a blue moon on tap. Both sandwiches were delicious and the beer was cold. I get it. Help is hard to find. Here, good help was hard to get and they didn't adjust to the staff they had. The bar was backed up so drinks were taking a long time. Hopefully it was a one time thing but I am not looking to finding out. A waitress called out so by the time orders were taken and drinks were ready it was too long. They kept all the tables open and caused a back log. People sat down and as they were not able to be acknowledged. We wound up canceling the final round. Food was so so. The salad was good but the burger was messy and the potato skins over cooked to inedible. Spinach dip was eh and chips over done. read more

Honestly, the fact that this place has anything less than a 5.0 BLOWS MY MIND! We were referred here from a friend, telling us how delish the food is, how great the specials are, and how the bartender is top notch. We stopped in on a Thursday for lunch. The special was a Philly steak sandwich....for $5! We added the truffle fries. Good God, where has this sandwich been my whole life?! No joke, it is phenomenal. We came again for the pork chop sandwich and were just as pleased. The drinks are cold, the food is amazing, and Tracy is a GEM! After our first visit, she knew our drinks and made us feel welcome. Saw an article in the Frankfort Station newspaper on October 10th about Bailey's Bar and Grill . I knew that I had to try the Bomber . Deep fried bacon wrapped hotdog with tomato , onion , relish , cucumber and sport pepper . It's very good . They have Guinness on tap and it pairs well with the Bomber . Our waitress, Robin, accidentally cashed out another table that paid our bill. She informed us that there is approximately a $50 difference that the waitress herself owes to make up for the mistake she made. Our group of 8 was reassured that this wouldn't be an issue. No big deal. When it came time to cash out, our bill was approximately $75 more than what it should have been. After 1 hour and 15 minutes of trying to simply produce the correct bill, our waitress, Robin, threatening a member of our party saying, "bitch, I'll fuck you up", to the manager finally intercepting and handling the matter herself, we finally we're able to leave. In short, our waitress made a mistake (which is fine, it happens), but instead of taking accountability for her mistake, she attempted to deceive our table by billing us with her mistake. No one in our party was intoxicated. We just wanted her to show us the CarFax, which apparently was the equivalent to splitting an atom. Wish I wouldve checked here first before coming here and ordering this dog food. Nachos were stale dried chips with absolutely no cheese (see photo). Fish and chips are overly greasy frozen pieces of fish. You get served on paper plates because they dont make enough revenue to hire a dishwasher. Hmmm wonder why. Skimping out on quality to save money only leads to less and less profits. I feel like I was just on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. I dont have to look at their books to tell you they arent making any money at this place, and they have the nerve to charge people for complete sh*t food. If I could give 0 stars I would! I called to place an order for take out. The lady on the phone asked me to wait and placed me on hold. After waiting 10 minutes, I hung up. I decided I would just order through Yelp/grub hub and pick it up myself. I arrived about 20 minutes after placing my order. The bartender said oh you must be the person I put on hold. She told me she forgot she put me on hold. Then told told me they never received my order. I showed her my confirmation email of my order which I had already paid for. She told me I'd have to contact grub hub because they didn't recieve my order. I called grub hub, who then called the restaurant. They told me the restaurant said they didn't recieve the order and can no longer make it. So Instead of making my order I already paid for they declined making it. I struggle with giving up on this place for good because it's less than a mile from my house and I do enjoy the food and sitting outside on nice days but the service is almost always terrible. However, yesterday having Robin as our waitress sealed the deal. Oh my god I have never experienced such awful service in all my years of living. It took her over 10 minutes just to give us menus and another 10 to take our drink orders, another 10 to bring the drinks. You get the idea. She was rude, incompetent and inattentive and those are the nicest things I can say about her. When the check came she had overcharged us and our food was wrong but I didn't have the energy to argue with her about the food since it would have probably taken another 45 minutes to get the correct food out to us. It wasn't busy there but Robin was having way too much fun having 20 minute at a time conversations with a group of old bitties who were sitting outside getting crunk. Going Downhill Baileys used to be a cool spot to stop for a drink and food with some friends. Now, it's the place to go if everywhere else is closed. Service is slow, waitresses are avoidant, food is meh. My advice is spend your money elsewhere. Two stars for the nice patio. read more

I'm responding to Livingwjaz.c 1 star review from Labor Day. I witnessed this first hand and she left out a few huge key details. She forgot to mention she picked up a Reuben sandwich and a taco salad and threw them at the bartender, Shari, to accelerate the problem. Also, she mentioned how she was being harassed in the bathroom, yet continued by saying she came out of the bathroom to abuse saying over and over how she was gonna "beat the bartenders ass". Can't have it both ways. Shari did not go in the bathroom . This "victim" came out and threw food & plates at Shari. Then she mentioned how Shari went out in the parking lot as she left. She forgot to mention how she was laughing and giving Shari the finger, laughing all the way still inviting her outside to get "her ass beat". She mentioned that Shari might "insight" ( incite) people. I was the guy who went outside to cool off Shari AFTER this innocent victim threw plates of food at her, just to get her back in the facility. Sure, Shari could have responded better but this poster was farrrrrr from an innocent victim & assaulted the bartender. Plus, for her to invoke racial connotations into her post is disgusting and cowardly as no part of this interaction ever referenced or spoke of race. The good is the patio when the weather is nice. The service is decent. As is the food. The chicken wings are standard proof service breaded wings that get tossed in a bottled sauce served with celery and bottled blue cheese dressing with little blue cheese or blue cheese flavor. I have also had a cheese burger and Ruben. These too were pedestrian and decent. The gross is the back bathroom that had no soap or towels or hand dryer. It's gross and there is never an excuse; pandemic or not. The bad is the up charge for ordering Tito's and club soda in a tall. I did not order a double and was not served a double. On top of the club soda was awful. Barely carbonated and had an aftertaste that was off. I understand a small business passing on the credit card fee. I get it, I don't like it. 90 minute to 2 hour table turns when busy. I get. Not sure this is always a great practice as I am only at a table when I am ordering and eating and spending. Again however I get it. Fountain pop and club soda are cheap and the added cost of 4 ounces of club soda is negligible. My advice to Baileys is to make sure your bathrooms are clean and stocked with soap and towels. As far as the club soda issue if I return I will have beer or vodka on the rocks. This is a crappy up charge that I consider as a business nickel and diming customers. read more

On 8/2/24 Sherri seemed busy. maybe it was me she didn't wanna wait on and in hindsight because once she did give us the time to take our order, she did not give us her full undivided attention. Her attention was divided to the point that as we're speaking, given our drink orders, she's walking away and then having a double back and say "oh what did you say? I guess I shouldn't walk away while you're talking" we let that go, at the end of the night I was there for the association of the company I was with and not for Sherri. I was not gonna leave a tip at all, but I thought I'd leave something with the three dollar tip. She put it in the tip jar, then removed it from the tip jar and berated us in front of a bar full of patrons over three dollar tip telling us that she was gonna remember us and she would never serve us again. we let that go. I go to the bathroom, She follow me to the bathroom harassing me at this point about a three dollar tip again, I didn't even think she deserved it to be perfectly honest, but I thought we leave something. As I'm being harassed in the bathroom. I step out to tell her to leave us alone and this is now harassment. I was feeling threatened by Sherri. After following me to the ladies room, she proceeds to follow me into the parking lot and my car and yes at this point I'm very upset, but I'm also a little fearful because I don't know if she's gonna insight the other bar patrons to come out and do something to us or not, I watched her drink with the patrons. I don't know if this is common practice, if so that's fine, but she should be able to hold her liquor so that she does not cost and offend your customers outside of Sherri., i enjoyed the establishment, but needless to say we won't be coming back. I called a manager Miranda says she will pull footage. I hope this is resolved, so no one else has to go through this while out trying to enjoy themselves. The drinks are reasonably priced though. Absolutely terrible service. Server took our drink order and didn't see her until we had to get up to find her to pay. Place was about half full. Other tables getting up to get their own napkins, refills, etc.... Items on our check we ordered but didn't receive and server just "wanted to buy us a drink" instead of refunding the charge. DO NOT consider coming here before a concert. Find a different establishment. They decided to cut their menu in half until "they slowed down" after a table behind us had to change their order after ordering off of the menu. Came here on Thursday 6/11/20. Nice outdoor seating area. Arrived at 8:40 and it took about 10 min for a waitress to approach us. We were back in our car at 8:55. The waitress told us the kitchen is closed. She added that it is usually open until 9 but because they were busy, they closed 1/2 an hour early to "give the kitchen time to catch up". Never heard that before. So they were closed for 2 months because of the pandemic and now they close the kitchen early? Hard to want to go back even though they usually have good food and decent specials. read more
