This place is terrible. I booked a table for two for a birthday dinner for my fiancé. Stood at the door for 15 minutes only to get to the hostess who told me all she had available was an outside table. There was a punk rock band playing and it was 45 degrees outside! I calmly told her "hey I had a reservation for a birthday dinner. I specifically asked for inside" she vanished for another 5 minutes and came back saying sorry only outside available. What BS! What is the point of booking a reservation, asking for a table inside, and asking them to bring cake for a birthday? WTF???? Total BS!! read more

This place is very nice. We had a good time. We ordered an appetizer. Asparagus bruschetta with smoked mozzarella, crisp fresh asparagus, juicy tomato and a drizzle of balsamic. Yum!!! We had the Coconut Porter which was cold and tasted really good. We sat at the street seating which was nice. We had our dogs with us. The waitress Loma was very friendly and attentive. I've been to Baily's Old Town four or five times. The food is always good and the service is great. Last night we were seated indoors as it was a bit chilly to dine on the patio. The live bands on ther patio are usually great, but be prepared for a major change of vibe at 10:00 or so when the band leaves and the entire patio transforms into a millennial rave of sorts with a DJ. Last time I was there my date and I were really enjoying a great 80s band on the patio. We were just finishing up our dinner and were informed by the waiter that we would need to finish up soon because all other patio tables were being removed. That was not so nice and there was nothing I read when making a reservation that the transformation would happen. As you can see from my return last night, I still enjoy Baily's, but I have learned to adjust my expectations. When the summer returns, I will dine early on the patio and plan on being outta there before 10:00, as I am not down for the millennial rave vibe. read more

Great service, Great food. We walked by and decided to give it a try. Didn't see anything on the menu we'd really wanted to come here for, but we still have it a try, as their patio and ambience seemed welcoming for a sunday afternoon. So glad we ate here! We have eaten at Baily's in the downstairs area a few times now and each time the food and service had been very good. This latest time we had fish tacos and boy were they good. The tacos arrived at our table piping hot, crispy on the outside, and moist and delicious on the inside. So, so good!!! We have yet to try the upstairs dining, which is higher end with white table cloths. This is on our list of many great local Temecula restaurants that we want to try. read more

This review is based on only on the food I ordered. I ordered their steak pizza. The steak was very dry and its place in medium size slices on pizza. They use a cheese that doesn't really melt, so the cheese seemed to be just crumbled on top. I will say that the portion size is good. On the other hand, the service was great. read more

Thoughts after my initial visit on a busy Saturday night: chill environment, great for a drink, and it's "okay" for food. My rating was primarily based on how comfortable the hostess and bar staff made the experience here an enjoyable one. Everyone's super polite. No snobs here. Old town Temecula was pretty busy and I am happy they have ample open seating outdoors. A group of my friends went to Baileys for a birthday celebration. I had reserved the table a week and a half early online and specifically requested a table outside by the dance floor. My friend called to check on the reservation and was told they couldn't guarantee a table outside. So we agreed to arrive early so we could get a table outside. When we arrived we were told we couldn't have a table outside for 8 people because of other reservations. We explained we had already requested this in advance and that we were here to celebrate a birthday. The hostess finally made arrangements for us to sit outside by the dance floor. There were only 2 other groups sitting outside and a bunch of empty tables. Next we see a band setting up that was NOT the band we had intentionally come to see. They double booked two bands! We had to sit through an hour and a half of headbanger music, before John Demps, who we had come to hear took to the stage. Next we were told our group couldn't stay sitting at our table anymore. They said there was a 2 hour limit. From the beginning we had explained that we came for dinner so we could sit comfortably at a table, have dinner and hear the band we had come to see, but because they double booked the bands now we had to give up our table because we had to sit through the first crappy band in order to hear the band we had come to hear! By this point all the uncomfortable picnic tables were filled up with people and there was no where to sit after getting kicked out of our table. Finally, they refused to break up our check for 8 people! I'll never go as a group to this restaurant again. It was a really unpleasant experience. As much as they charge for food and drink and add on their own damn gratuity, this night should have been wonderful. It was not. read more

I have had dinner at Baily's many times. Last night's experience was less-than stellar. I don't like brussels sprouts; but, I tried the sweet chili peanut brussels sprouts and they were delicious. My wife ordered the filet mignon and mashed potato special. Although the beef was beautifully seared and the potatoes were very tasty, the "steamed" carrots we're hard as a rock and entirely unpalatable. I ordered the tri tip Bahn mi sandwich. It was less-than excellent and was served cold. The curly fries were luke-warm/cold and were not crisp. I had the distinct impression that they were left over from lunch. The cocktails were excellent. I had a Negroni Tradici and a rum and ginger beer cocktail which was exceptionally good--I don't remember what it was called. The pizza we ordered for our little guy was a smoked pepperoni pizza and it was a hit all around. There was no live music during our dinner last night. He lighted shade covers and heaters , which were added over the last year, are a genuine value-added improvement. I would go again, but would probably stick with their special - - or hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. read more

We walked in because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and just needed a cocktail before dinner. There was no line.. the staff was cleaning the counters, sanitizer available. Ended up having some wings. Let me tell you.. they were delicious. We loved the sauce it wasn't too spicy that you couldn't enjoy the flavor. They could be spicier but then again that is just my preference. I had a delicious cocktail with strawberry, basil, and makers mark whiskey instead of bourbon.. it was delicious. They have bottomless mimosas too and boy are they ever so bring your DD. You'll have a great time. I visited in April for a Saturday night evening out with friends and Mothers Day 2022 we celebrated dinner at Bailey's and it was just as good. Our server was very attentive and made sure our experience was amazing. We had several appetizers all were very good. The chicken wings dry rub, calamari with jalapeño rings were amazing! The jalapeño rings are fresh and fried, not as spicy as you think, so tasty! We all had the filet, it's what they are known for. Thee best filet I've ever had three times in a row now that I've been to Baileys. The meat is SO tender and the flavor is full of Smokey char deliciousness! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone! They have live music outside patio, fireplaces, couches on the patio. Incredible chill atmosphere. A lovely drink menu, my favorite is the Rosy Glow! Must Try! The restaurant closes at 9pm and a club starts at that time. They give you wrist bands if you are there for dinner for complementary stay for the nightclub. They have live music on some nights, mostly DJ and dance floor is the outside patio. It very large so it's perfect as a conversion to a nightclub. The nightlife is mostly young in the early 20's to mid 30's max. Overall FIVE STARS! A must!! read more

If you've never had lunch outside on the patio at Bailey's then you are missing out on a nice and relaxing experience. Love this place, the food is excellent and servers are nice and courteous. Our server Marisela was always on top of it when we needed refills on tropical iced tea, served our food while it's still hot and checked back to see if we needed anything else. My husband and I both ordered the Sloppy Joe with chips, loved it! I think the options in Temecula are limited and this is why people have given it a descent review but Alex Baily loves to play the "owner" role but he is expressly rude and he is NOT the owner. The hostesses have no coordination on tables and cannot quite keep track of what they're doing. I made a reservation a month ago for a large party and they could not accommodate my request to sit outside. They brought the General Manager Alex out to give me this illogical and rude explanation about their "guarantees" for booking. Disappointed.... On Sat (Mothers Day weekend) I showed up with a party of 12 without a reservation at 10:15am. I expected that we may not all be seated together and inquired about this upon arrival. The hostess said that we most likely would not be sitting together and more of our party had to be there first. I agreed. Once most of us where there - around 10:45am I went to the front desk to inquired again and was now told that they could not take out large part because they needed tables to be available for walk-ins... This did not make any sense but I continued to ask about what options were available. After she checked with her manager, the hostess said that "if" a server AGREED to serve us together, we could use their picnic tables - in the rear end of their patio. I continued to agree to whatever was available even though it was clear to us that the restaurant had PLENTY of tables available inside and outside. I was told that all large party tables were reserved. So, after going back and forth for a couple more minutes, they agreed to serve us (as if it was a favor) in their picnic area | 2-3 tables but our check had to be paid using only 1 credit card. I was a bit frustrated with the way things had been going but agreed. Our server was pleasant and agreed to split the check into 2... however, she did not come to check on us hardly at all after the food and drinks were served. We were there for about 2.5 hours and there were still plenty of tables available in their patio and inside of the restaurant the entire time, including a large table that could seat about 15-20 people. read more
