The 4 star rating for Baily's Old Town is strictly for the weekend "club scene" they have out on the patio, as I haven't dined in. I do plan to try out the food one day. Parking can get nuts, so plan to carpool or get an Uber/Lyft, especially if you plan to get hammered! I'd also suggest getting there before 10, so you won't have to wait long and pay the $10 cover (I think that's the price?! We didn't pay since we got there right before 10). The security guards are on top of it, and they're at every entry and exit, so beware. The bars are available all night for you to get your drank on. There is a live band that plays music early on, and then a DJ after that. Idk if it's like that every weekend as I've only been here once. It was cool, people dancing, some wallflowering, others just people watching. They have some tables, but some are reserved and roped off. If you get tired from dance and need a break, you can sit near the restrooms, but as it gets crowded, you'll be told not to sit there by security. Overall, it was a good experience. I'm not much of a club goer these days (nor was I ever really), but if you're looking for a place to get jiggy with it, this could do it for you. Have fun, enJOY, and be safe! read more

I got the steak salad, medium - the steak came well done, chewy and dry; the lettuce and cheese tasted old, like when you've left food in the fridge too long and it starts to taste like the fridge. 2 people out of 9 at our table liked their food. Location - beautiful, loved the outdoor seating, just music is very loud and clubby. We could hardly hear each other. We did come on a Friday though (6PM), so we understand it turns into a different scene. The kitchen just needs a makeover with its recipes. To be fair we did not eat here because the menu was not tempting and the place was empty on a Sunday night around 6 pm wile most other restaurants ware very busy... Also the service was a turn off right at the entrance... a young men greet us and right off the start he asked us to wait 5 to 10 minutes because they ware short on stuff even if the place was empty... the ambiance was not enticing, seeing this large place with so many empty tables, not any of the rooms has a theme or any character, lots of Christmas decorations... we where finally given a table for the .5 of us, but we had not a good feeling and after a few minutes we decided not to eat and left. We are not from the area but Temecula is a midway point for our family to gather. Party of 15 on the patio on a Saturday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Server was very nice and efficient taking orders. Food orders range from appetizer garlic bread, Irish nachos, wings, calamari, New England clan chowder. Entrees were 4 smash burgers, 3 fish and chips, a few tri tip BBQ, pasta, ahi salad, meatloaf and a couple other items. Beverages - wines beer were good Appetizer- very good Entrees rated from very good to probably wouldn't order again. The meatloaf was rated ok. Two dinners - the meatloaf and ahi salad arrived well after the others got their food. I believe they may have order after us but we felt bad eating while they waited. The Fish and chips were delightful and I'd order them again. Ambiance was cozy once the crowd arrived, music started and the winds died down. Prior to that most of were very cold from the winds and temperature. The heaters didn't help us much. Thankfully one of us had extra jackets and blankets in their vehicles. A couple of friends and I, we were at old town Temecula yesterday just to celebrate our friendship. One of my friends really wanted to go to Baily's restaurant. We stop by without having a reservation we knew the chances to get a table were pretty small. I stopped in here for dinner on a Wednesday night and was surprised to find out I had arrived on an open mic night. Various musicians were performing a couple songs, one after the other, for the hour or so I was there. It was a little loud in the main dining room so I chose to sit outside on the patio. I could still hear the music, some good, a couple VERY good, and, of course, a couple who no one has told are embarrassingly bad. I ordered the chicken enchilada plate which came with Spanish rice. The two enchiladas were good but nothing special although I thought the rice was quite delicious. The salsa provided with the enchiladas was also excellent with a delicate spiciness to it. My husband and I went to dinner at Baileys Old Town Temecula for the first time. We went to the bar to order a drink and the bartender was not friendly at all and slug our drinks on the bar spilling them on the outside of the glass with no attempt to wipe it off. The food wasn't any better, I ordered Grandma's chicken with capers and Brussels sprouts both had zero seasoning or flavor. My husband got the meatloaf and after a couple bites the inside was still cold. So it wasn't cooked it was warmed up from the refrigerator. Both meals were horrible. My friend and I went for the $50.00 per person Mother's Day Brunch. We booked our reservation for 3:00pm. Last booking of the day and only one available. We were so disappointed and couldn't get out of there fast enough. It took 17 minutes before a server even approached us. The salad was limp and wilted. Really warm. The crab was cold and rubbery The shrimp was fishy tasting. The desserts had zero sweetness to them. We both took a strawberry cheesecake and we could not even tell it was cheesecake! Tasted NOTHING like cheesecake. Rather it had an almond taste to it. They had blueberry muffins. My favorite. My friend and I each took one. We regretted it instantly. The blueberries were BEYOND sour and disgusting. We couldn't get drinks. We sat with watered down soda and melted ice in our glasses. When I was finally able to chase down someone the guy just refilled into the watered down remains. Added no fresh ice. Then touched the straw while placing it in the glass, at our table, right in front of us. The food was awful. The service was awful! Denny's offers better service! And they don't cost over $100.00!! What a disappointing Mother's Day. Loss of time, gas, money. It was late in the day. Food had been sitting all day. They weren't super busy at 3pm. By 3:20 pm there was only 3 tables with guests. Our table had 2. The table heading out had 4. And the table that came in when we did had about 12 people. Horrible service. Horrible food. We came here for a rehearsal lunch and were provided with 3 kinds of appetizers: bread with avo and cheese, grilled chicken skewers, and mushrooms in crispy wontons. All had sauces that come with it. They were all so delicious. For the main course, we could either choose a salad or a butternut squash soup. I preferred the soup. It was rich, creamy, and sweet. Then the bread and butter came. Although the bread is great with the butter that it came with, it was just as delicious dipped into the soup. Finally, the blackened shrimp with pesto pasta came last. It was savory, plenty of sauce to cover the pasta, and plenty of shrimps on the plate! The service is good. The waiters often come by our table to top off our drinks and always check in on our party to see if we need anything else. Inside, they have plenty of tables and an upstairs for private event spaces. There is also a huge parking space right across from the restaurant. I came here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious their food was. Restaurant/parking There was an adequate amount of parking in the back of the restaurant. We just had to walk further out because on Friday they had two other weddings rehearsal dinners. The restaurant was clean and offered two stories of dinning. The private dinner hala was located upstairs. Food and staff; The food was amazing. First we had appetizers with beef satay with peanut sauce and had a tomato salad. Butter nut squash soup; was very smooth and silky I really enjoyed their soup. Main course; rib eye steak cooked medium rare was delicious and juicy and served with asparagus and potatoes. This was a generous size 12-16oz thick cut. Shrimp pasta: it was served with basil sauce with freshly grated mozzarella cheese. It was creamy and heavy I can easily share this with another person. Staff; They were attentive and courteous. They pay attention to detail and was always around when you need them. Conclusion; If I'm ever in the Temecula area. I wouldn't hesitate coming back here for dinner and if I wake up early enough I would like to check it their lunch or brunch menu that are served during the weekends. Give them a try if your in Temecula wine country or just passing by. Ive been here many times before back when i was in my 20's, but only for the nightclub part, i never had their food before and it was really delicious! The fish for the fish and chips was perfectly cooked and the breading to fish ratio was perfect! Light and crispy. The chicken quesadilla was what my friend ordered and she said it was really good! I ordered the tri tip bahn mi sandwich and it was the best one I've ever had! It was so flavorful, and the balance of flavors were superb! Took a group of 30 people to Temecula for mine and my sister's birthday. Started at stampede which was wonderful low cover charge great staff lots of room and great music. Well we wanted to go across the street to Baily's. So as we get to the line, they tell us that it's $40 cover to get in. We told them that that was too expensive and that we were going to go back to stampede mind you everybody in my group was dressed in cowboy attire, and the manager guy of Bailey's came out and told us that we were white supremacist and we should go back to the white supremacist bar. Never mind the fact that there was an array of skin color in our group. The owner of this establishment should be very disappointed. They lost a lot of money by saying that to our group because we will never be back. read more

Had the incredible experience of hosting my baby shower at Baily's last summer and just now getting around to sharing my experience (new baby takes up a lot of time these days). First, the scheduling and choosing of menu items was so easy and seamless, the Baily events team did a great job of keeping everything simple, since the mommy brain at that point had already settled in. Their rotunda room upstairs held 30 guests and had plenty of space for the buffet and dessert setup. The food was excellent and we even had a dedicated server that exceeded all our expectations (his name is escaping my memory, but rest assured all the servers there are top quality humans). We were happy that they were able to seat our party of six quickly. The serving staff was very friendly and efficient. We only had one hour to eat because we had a concert to go to afterward. The buffalo wing appetizers were good, but the asparagus bruschetta was just so-so. We were surprised that the Cadillac margaritas, which were not very good, were more expensive than the old fashion, which was remarkably good. Everyone enjoyed their food. Baily's is the only one I can say I hated. The worst management and service i have ever had. The entire experience was horrible. After being chased to the parking lot and yeld at and embarrassed by someone from the staff, we were forced to pay $119 for a piece of toast and a sip of warm champagne. The warm champagne was only the final straw in a miserable experience. Dear July would you pay $119 for a piece of toast and a sip of WARM so called champagne? My dear what you heard about what happened that day and what really happened are very far away from your truth. It boarded on harassment. When your place owns up to the lack of service and stars to make the necessary changes you will be far better off. I think my favorite part of Baily's Old Town is the special events. They have themed events for different holidays. A few years back, we came for Halloween and that was tons of fun! Like for real, the music was good, the food tasty! And the outside area was party central lol They had go-go dancers, lights and music. People were dancing, laughing and having a blast. They also had a costume contest as well. They setup a "stage" area, and asked people to come up on stage and show off their costumes and then everyone voted on the top three costumes. Tons of fun!
