Very oddly sandy flavor for this peanut-coconut sauce...not properly executed but didn't skimp on good ingredients

The Thai food is made palatable for un-adventuresome, white-bread loving types, which is often just fine. When you ask for "less spicy" you are asking to distort the true nature of Thai food so you get something that's not banging with spice on the lips. Consider the majority of the clientele from Bainbridge Island which tends to be older year round residents...they will be fine with blander versions of Thai. I was shocked that they didn't offer the typical condiments I've had in other Thai restaurants with small green chillies in vinegar, and spicy red flakes in hot oil. If you want spicy, bring your own hot sauce! On the other hand, there is no other restaurant that is waterside with such quiet relaxing views of the boats docked in the harbor so I would say why skip the view?? Don't miss this view, and eat hot Thai food elsewhere. Just enjoy the beer and medium priced cocktails and the less than banging Thai plates. It's another representation of their cuisine. Service was very sweet as well. Not a bad spot to bring visitors to the island. Not a bad spot to relax by the water with some dinner on a summer evening! Much more quiet than the raucous "seafood" spot nearby.

We were able to eat lunch here and I must say this was the best restaurant I had eaten in Washington given I have just been around downtown Seattle. The food was pretty bland, but I personally don't mind it being bland as long as there's a good amount of seasoning and there was. The noodles from the pad Thai were a little bit harder, but my mom said that's the texture it's supposed to be, but I'm not quite sure. The pad see ew was a little lacking in seasoning. The noodles were a bit too soft, but we're still good. The salad from the pad Thai was so delicious. I wish I had more. The server was a sweet lady. My mom speaks Thai and had to communicate communicated with her and had stuck up a conversation and just made the whole experience that much intimate and personal. We were the only ones in the restaurant so it was nice being able to have a view of the water

Small, quiet ambience along the beautiful ferry terminal. Wanted to some Thai and there's only a few places on the island so here's the first. Sauce flavors were solid, they had a unique spicy sweet chili paste that was good. The prices are actually cheap/reasonable. It's hard to get an entree for $15-16 these days imo. Menu is simple and they have daily specials. The portions weren't huge but not small. You'll be satisfied with plate. Overall taste and meat quality was average, nothing to write home about. Real chefs are back there so that's a plus. Good service and food came out quick. Spice level for a 4 you could probably step it up to 5, I like spice but I thought 4 would be spicier. Would come back but looking to try the other places on the island before

Food was very good! Customer service was excellent! We got seated very quickly, which was great as all other restaurants in the area had a long wait time.

We went early because we're old (70) nobody in the place. Greeted warmly. Sat at table with great view of the harbor. Food was wonderful. Small plates of pad Thai and pad see ew that were very filling. I'm sure it would be wonderful in the summer.

The view from the outside seats on a nice summer evening.

The food is outstanding with really friendly staff and in the summer it's the best view of any restaurant. My photo is the view of the wildlife because we devoured all the food. The prices are incredibly reasonable.

Ate the food so fast I didn't have time to take a picture. But here is a picture of the view.

Beautiful view. Great food, family friendly service. Dog friendly patio. Pad Thai and satay were AMAZING

I really wanted to like this place. It's very cute inside. Dining room decorated with candles and flowers, overlooking the water. Very welcoming. And the place has been there forever, and the owner is around and very nice and welcoming too. But the food was bad. Like really bad. For example: Fresh rolls. Typically, those are stuffed with various veggies, glad noodles, and shrimp. These were stuffed with just shredded cabbage. No noodles, no flavor, just crunch from the cabbage. Chicken was so dry, over-dredged in coating, and just not good. I really wish I could give this more stars and have a nice spot on the island. Alas, this one is not it.

The view and they let our sweet French Bulldog have lunch with us on the patio; that's why I'm leaving 5 stars. The service was good too. They are so sweet. You will see the "Thai Troll Terry". He's quite the hoot. The food is lackluster. But we suffered through that because of our pooch. Might not try again but if you have a dog with you and want a view and don't mind bland ZERO star Thai food, this is for you!

This little Thai restaurant tucked away on the marine edge of Bainbridge Island was the highlight of my entire Seattle trip. Tons of seating overlooking the marine and super fast and friendly service. The crab Rangoon with real Dungeness crab was very delicious you could taste the real crab meat in each bite. The pad see eww was piping fresh and super chewy flat noodles (one of the best i've had!) the family and servers were all super friendly and service was fast. If you're in the area this is definitely a place to stop by for a meal!

I have been a fan of this restaurant for around twenty years. The menu has always been full of and…read moreamazing variety of options and everything tasty. I could probably have licked my plate clean on every meal that I have ever had there. Generally, there has always been excellent customer service, and all the things that you would expect from a great restaurant. However, a couple of days ago I had a really bad experience. I live pretty far away, and there are thai restaurants closer to my home. Sawatdy restaurant is a twenty mile drive in one direction from my home. Yet, I will patronize it every now and again to bring business to her restaurant and because its been my favorite. I don't think I'll be going back. This post is not to discourage anyone from going. The food is generally amazing. And again, the service is top notch. I drove all the way to the restaurant a couple of days ago and ordered three things. The stuffed wings, a pad Thai dish, and drunken noodles. The bill was $75 and some change. The food portions were amazingly large, which is always good when you get your money's worth. From the order, the chicken wings were exceptional. They were outstanding very delicious as they have always been. However, the two main dishes, one for myself and one for my sister were absolutely disastrously bad. They both were like they had been either cooked earlier in the day, and left out for too long, or overcooked. On both of our dishes, the meat was really bad and the food was dry. In my nearly twenty years of going to the restaurant, it's never been like that ever. We couldn't eat them. And both of us can eat just about anything! I called and because the owner knows me, we had a great conversation about me coming back to the restaurant and getting the two dishes made again. Knowing that I live twenty miles in one direction away, it was gonna take me a few days to go back. Maybe even a week or so. We had an agreement that I was counting on to get the two dishes redone, but not the stuffed chicken, of course. When I called today saying that I was going to drive back for the two dishes I was told that they would only replace one. I had two dishes that were severely overcooked or dried out, or old. One dish, the chicken wings were delicious.I didn't want to refund. And I was told they would only replace one. So I went back and I got the one dish, which was the drunken noodles. And it was absolutely up to par.It was outstanding as it should have been the first time. Fresh meat fresh noodles fresh everything! I've included a picture. I'm disappointed though, because i've always been a patron of the restaurant who's never complained about their food. I've always elevated the food to my friends and colleagues and I've even brought people to that restaurant in the past. Getting one dish replaced when two dishes were bad does not sit very well with me. So I will go to the restaurants near me in Poulsbo and Silverdale instead. And we'll forget about and say farewell, to what was my favorite Thai restaurant in Kitsap County. Yep it's the principle of the thing. Paying nearly a hundred dollars for the two meals to be terrible. Explaining that they were knowing that i've never done that before or had that experience in twenty years, and to be only provided with one dish as a replacement is just not okay. Now we will close this by saying that was my only bad experience in twenty years. And I know everyone loves that restaurant. And I do recommend that you patronize it. My backing out, and choosing to take it off my list is a thing of principles.

I have two new obsessions…read more #4 rolls as an appetizer - but it's a huge portion, be prepared. Then! V3! Who knew?!?! I don't really eat it as a soup. I tend to pour off some of the "soup" but oh it's yummy! Service is always polite, courteous and prompt. Ambiance is cozy.

We got a vermicelli salad (5/5) & teriyaki strips (4/5). The vermicelli salad came with the perfect portions of every veggies, a side bottle of sauce so I could add as much as I'd like and was topped with two egg rolls. The teriyaki strips were good but not as great as the kabob vermicelli. Came with a good amount of veggies & rice. Service was amazing, the lady did a great job of reminding us the menu is all Vegan. The food also came out pretty quickly, which is perfect because we were very hungry after getting off the ferry.

The gal taking the order and cooking the food (Emmy?) was very friendly. The outdoor seating area is very cute, though a bit chilly for November. The food was very pretty meh, but not awful. The curry soup was made with too much thickener so the mouth feel was oddly gelatinous. It lacked subtle flavors, overall not very good, but not horrible. I was glad I sharing it as a whole bowl might have been inedible. The sweet sour "chicken" was pretty good. The sauce was your run of the mill sweet sour sauce...I am guessing not homemade. It had fresh broccoli. The "chicken" was kind of novel for a long-long-long time vegetarian like myself. No idea if it tastes like real chicken. Cannot remember the third dish, probably equally okay but not great. Prices pretty good. Anyhow, if you are passing through and it is a nice night, it would be a fine choice. Just don't expect to be wowed by the food.

But don't let its lack of visibility be the reason you don't go there. It is well worth a visit! The restaurant is in a cozy little space. It is run by Thuy (the owner) and her competent and friendly staff. They have great Pho, both traditional broth, as well as chicken and vegetarian broths. We really appreciated the latter since many pho places do not offer one or both of the latter. I order the chicken pho and my girlfriend the tofu and veggie. Both were delicious and filling, and they provided plenty of additional ingredients to put into our pho, as is typical of pho places. The pho was served in metal bowls, with clean chopsticks, spoons and forks provided at the table. At one point Thuy herself came out to chat with us, which was an added bonus. She was so helpful answering our questions about the food, and even gave us a much-needed lesson on how to pronounce her name when we asked. (If you say it with a falling tone you will definitely impress her. :) ) I added Thuy's to my small but grown list of favorite places on the Island.
