It's worth the hype, I would go to bainbridge just for the poke! Also it's right by the ferry terminal so it's conveniently located right by the ferry for pedestrians to just walk to. It's a little unassuming place right by the parking lot. I initially thought it was a gas station. they also have a little shop inside. I was starving after not eating all day, so I ordered the poke bowl over a salad base with Krab, Shrimp, Tuna, and Salmon. The portions were epic! I easily could have ordered just two proteins and been perfectly satisfied. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant itself is pretty dark, atmosphere is okay, servers take their time here. The menu is quite large and we enjoyed picking out three rolls that sounded different from what we were used to. Presentation-wise , the sushi looked great! Taste-wise the sushi wasn't as fresh as I'd expect it to be...being so close to the ocean. We have some really great sushi in LA and while this was okay, it wasn't a standout for us.
