We ordered our food from Uber and not only was it cold but had some kind a metal wire in it !!! This is so dangerous! I know small children eat chips and guac so PLEASE don't let your children eat the guac from Baja ! This could have really injured a child or anyone really. When walking it the establishment it was clean and no one inside so the staff was cleaning. We ordered our food very easily the girl was nice. The salsa bar was off to the side and had all their signature salsa out even mango salsa which I never saw before. We got our food got home the food was good and it probably would have been excellent if it was hot. We live 5 minutes away their is no way for our food get to be luck warm when eating. Very poor customer service and poor attitude. Went in to order and there was an elderly man already in line but has not ordered. The grill cook said some one be with you'. Love love love salsa bars! So this place is gold. Their food is fresh and really good. I got the BBQ Chicken Salad this time and it's now my favorite thing ok the menu. I'm counting calories and this one was 400 calories and huge! However, it came drenched in dressing. I think that totally derailed my diet. I'm not sure if the calories are counted with or without dressing. But it was too much. Next time, dressing on the side. i assumed it came that way but I was wrong. I wish they had more salad options. Like a fajita salad or something would be good. Kids meals are really big but also $6-7 which is almost as much as an adult meal. Seating is limited at lunch time. The place has about 3 booths, several regular tables, and then those that are high with bar stools, a nightmare for a short lady and a toddler! If you have a coupon, you best print it out or bring it in because they don't accept coupons that are on the mobile phone. The management will refuse it. The shrimp burrito + wahoo (mahi) fish burrito are pretty good and decent size. We get it "baja" style. The burritos are quite expensive at over $7.50 each, but if you come in with a coupon that's acceptable by them, you can get the entrees at a decent price. The team working on Sunday, April 18th at 1pm did a great job under pressure with hungry customers and a line out the door! My mobile order was ready on time and the cashiers were very friendly and helpful when I ordered an extra side of grilled wahoo (my 9 year olds favorite!). Special thanks to the Cook who was the only one but he didn't miss a beat getting all the orders out as fast as he could (he deserves a raise!). "No can openers" "No freezers" "No lard" "No MSG". Okay, we get it already. This place is healthy and quick - Mexican food without the guilt. They offer a variety of options: burritos, tacos, bowls, fajitas, quesadillas, nachos, even salads, I ordered the Baja Bowl with grilled chicken, rice, black beans, roasted veggies (red and green peppers and tomatoes), cilantro and salsa verde. The gentleman waiting on me asked if I'd like some chips while I waited and then gave me a scoop of them for free. I headed over to the salsa bar which had five different salsas: Salsa Molcajete (Hot!), Salsa 6 Chiles (Hot!), Salsa Baja (Medium), Salsa Mango (Mild), and Salsa Verde (Medium) plus Pico De Gallo (Medium), jalapeños, cilantro, and banana peppers. (Pro tip - there are sliced limes over by the soda fountain. I'd barely finished my first salsa laden chip (I opted to mix the Pico de Hallo with the Salsa 6 Chiles) when the little handheld remote buzzed to tell me my order was ready. I headed back to the salsa bar to doctor my bowl up, too. I was pleased to find large chunks of tender moist chicken and plenty of vegetables in my bowl. 4:60 pm I walked into Baja with a $5 burrito coupon. I asked the girl at the counter, can be put on a plate and I would pay the additional 1.79. She said it's just for the burritos. So then I asked for a black bean burrito with everything on it I don't eat meat just all the veggies. She asked me which one. What's everything mean? Unimpressed. It's 11:48 a.m. the place is empty except for us and the friend that's been visiting the cook since before we got here. They are being very loud, laughing and chatting it up and it's a really unpleasant. Food came out just thrown together. Apparently it was interrupting his chat time. Ordered the Baja shrimp burrito and there was a chunk about a quarter size of the avocado in the center of the burrito and it was hard a a rock and there was so much pico de gallo, that's all I tasted. Chips were stale, but the salsa and guacamole was good. Restaurant smelled like sour rags were used to wipe surfaces down in the back seating area so we moved to the front. Floors were dirty with crumbs and paper and tables were dirty and had a sticky film on both the ones we sat at. My husband cleaned them with some of my water and napkins. I'll just be flat out, horrible service. The only reason why I gave two stars was because the food was good. Waited 25 minutes for our order to be cooked. And I'm not one to complain about things that are out of my control but when workers have their families here, little kids running around without shoes, crying making huge amounts of noise, than that's when I will get frustrated. Placed an order through UberEats, once I got the order I only got part of the order, called the restaurant and they wanted me to go there to get my refund.
