I did an in person order for their bogo avocado che. The service was quick and friendly. They had separate lines for in store pick up and online orders. There were very efficient in getting orders out in a timely manner so the wait did not take long despite being a bogo promotion. The che was only average and not my cup of tea. The avocado was still very hard. There is seating on both sides of store, but because it was crowded i opted to stand outside to wait. You could still hear them call number outside. read more

Che Vi is the dessert I never thought I would like. I'm not even a big fan of Che. I happen across this place because I went out with my girlfriends and they highly recommended coming here. So far I've been here twice and both times have been equally delicious. I ordered the coconut and flan. It comes with a little flan, refreshing, soft pieces of coconut, jellies, ice, all in a sweet milk. It's so addicting! If you're taking it away, they will put the ice separately in a ziplock bag. i've been here a couple of times now when they have bogo deals, and i've liked my che every time! i've tried the pandan + grass jelly, coconut + ube, and mango che (not pictured), and they were all such yummy and refreshing desserts that weren't too sweet since you can adjust your sweetness here! i think my personal favorite out of the ones i've tried is the mango, which comes with a lot of jellies & pudding for different flavors and textures. the service here is super efficient, even on the really busy bogo days! there are a good amount of tables for you to sit and enjoy your che, and plenty of parking outside. read more

4.5 stars, tried for the first time. Really good chè, not too sweet at all. I got 3 items for me and family. Chè ba mau (tricolor)- I really liked all the beans, jelly, etc they put in it. Someone said they don't like all the big sweet beans but those are my fav part of this che. So if you don't like beans .... Don't get this or ask of they can make it with less? Chè bo (avocado)- delicious, this was my brothers. He liked it. Not too sweet. Basic coconut - sis in law ordered this. I didn't get to try but she really likes this one. She's been here before. One thing to note if u are allergic to dairy: there are a few items with no dairy. They told me the tricolor was no dairy but later on I saw that on the menu that is actually says "has the least dairy" in Vietnamese. It's ok bc I'm not terribly allergic but maybe they shouldn't say that it doesn't contain dairy in case someone is allergic. Also the staff were really nice but could be more informed. Chè Vi is one of my favorite places for Vietnamese dessert now. My friend likes their Coconut Special and I wanted to order it as well. However, the cashier told me I could not substitute it with a non-dairy milk alternative. I've had the chè ba màu, or 3-color dessert. It was pretty good. I believe it had mung bean, kidney beans, bánh lot (chewy pandan jelly), and a few other things mixed in. I prefer the one at Chè Hien Khanh. I've also had the Tofu Special $8 which is my favorite. It comes with the ube balls and flan, although I think I like the ube better. It was so good I came back the next day! There is plenty of seating inside and it gets packed at night. I absolutely love che, my favorite spot is dulche. Compared to dulche, this place is definitely a bit more traditional in the sense of the beans that they use and its very mild in flavor. Got the three beans and the ube one. I didn't find it to be very sweet, it reminded me more of meet fresh but vietnamese. Ube was mild, beans were also mild. Toppings were fresh except for the yellow waterchestnut boba (which clumped and did not want to separate. Very generous with their toppings which i love. Super quick service. Came with a bunch of coconut and ube - along with flan, pandan jelly, tapioca water chestnuts, and such. Was the right amount of sweetness - and actually felt there was a bit too much of some of the ingredients in the dessert, there was no way I was finishing the contents. I've been trying all the different che places in OC lately and Che Vi was the last spot I hadn't had. I finally had the opportunity yesterday. Their menu is a little different than the other Vietnamese Che places. Their popular ones include the coconut special and the tofu one. I like that they had a variety of tofu ones that other places do not have. But they had the regular ones that other places do have like the Che Thai. They did not have a dac biet one. I went with their coconut special which included a large full cup with a side cup of ice. In it included jelly, young fresh coconut shavings, taro cubes, and a flan. Everything in it was really good. I especially liked the flan and the coconut shavings. I liked that it wasn't too sweet and was perfect. A cup was definitely shareable. My che came out pretty quick although there was a large party before me. The inside of this place has tables and chairs for you to enjoy. Parking is easy since they are located in a stripe mall. I liked that there's indoor and outdoor seating options to enjoy the weather. We opted to enjoy our che inside the store. Honestly, I wasn't crazy about my che thai. It was good, but not my favorite. The mango tastes just like a mango drink. Pandan jelly wasn't anything special but the coconut soy milk was what drawn me to the drink. I don't think this place makes the best avocado dessert but the amount of fresh avocado slices makes it note worthy. I feel like the base (liquid) should be more avocado-ish otherwise it's just the fruit chunks that they are calling it avocado dessert. I came here based on their social media influencers. Didn't know how close it was to my nail place so I decided to stop in. Based on their recommendation, the top 3 is the dac Biet, the avocado and ube. I chose the last two but now I want to try the dac Biet. It was good! Flavors were nice and not overly sweet. It's a cute little place and you can even hang out and eat while you sit and chat. $7 for each and $8 for the one I didn't get. Service was quick and they also have a reward option.
