This is how she delivered my graduation cake. Just awesome!

From beginning to end bakeaholics anonymous gives you just outstanding customer service. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers' wants, and she looks for ways to work around you and help you in any way she can on the day of your event. First, I met with her for a consultation of the idea for my cake. She asked me about every detail of the cake to assure it would be as closest possible as what I had in mind. She was very sweet, respectful, and professional. She made me a 2 tier star wars cake. It was chocolate with fresh strawberries in it. Delicious, is an understatement. Tier 1 was Darth Vader and tier 2 was Yoda with a graduation cap. Not to mention my name in star wars font which was all edible. I was in love with it from the beginning. Not to mention that she went that extra mile and delivered my cake wearing a storm trooper mask to go with the theme. Overall she goes above and beyond not just with her cake designs, but also for her customer as a person. She doesn't treat you like just another customer she makes you feel like a valued customer. I loved her cakes and I enjoyed working with her so I went on to continue ordering cakes from her. Anytime I need a cake I already know I have my baker I don't change and probably wont ever change.

All I have to say is..... if you don't order a cane from her you are truly missing out! THE! BEST! CAKE! EVER!!!! And i had tasting of more than one of her cakes. We ordered marble with cookies and cream. My husband usually finds nothing impressive with cake but LOVED her cake. And her design. I mean just look at her design.

Found this place on Instagram, so we drove down from Pasadena...and it was well worth the drive…read more The store is super cute inside with a fun seating area. I wished we had arrived earlier to be able to enjoy more of the sold out offerings, but next time we'll arrive right when they open. We ordered a dozen crinkle cookies for a Mother's Day lunch - enjoying the sweet ube and the spiced thai tea versions. Both were great compliments to each other - more perfectly sweet and the other a bit more herbal. The chocolate chip cookie was perfect - nice crunchy edges and slightly gooey soft inside. The ube tres leches was a little disappointing as there wasn't any tres leches cake at the bottom, just crumbly graham crackers resting below exquisite ube mousse. It could have been mislabeled, but it was essentially just ube mousse with crumbly graham crackers for texture. The staff were friendly and the store is so fun!

Two items for immediate consumption and then some cookies for later. We purchased a dozen of the regular size cookies, including both Ube and Thai Tea. Both of them were excellent, and I felt they were priced appropriately at a dozen for $18. The Thai Tea seriously tasted like you were truly drinking a thai tea. We also shared one large classic chocolate chip cookies (so yummy!) The only thing we didn't understand is that we shared a Ube Tres Leches. I am not sure what was going on. Don't get me wrong, what we ate was very good; however, it was 100% not Tres Leches. It was an Ube Cream with some graham cracker crumble underneath. So, my assumption is that they must have just given us the wrong item. I would love to try the Tres Leches again in the future. Please support his lovely local business. It was a real treat!

They rang me to let me know it was ready. In the cake front, it was a 3 layer white cake, with 2 layers of taro between them. As per usual, it wasn't too sweet. Just a hint of sugar overall, and very enjoyable. The taro layers were DENSE. It's like they boiled the root, peeled it, and put it in a blender with a bit of sugar. That thick, rich paste was slathered in between the layers. The flavor was intense. I was looking for something a bit lighter, but this wasn't a bad offering by any means.

Although the pastry was not made as well as those bakeries I typically go to, I still enjoyed them. Best part is that this bakery shop is adjoined with a boba shop. When you walk in, the shop is deep and the boba shop is towards the back. They also serve food as well! Some pastries I purchased: I was lucky to get street parking right in front of the shop. If you can't snag a spot at the curb, there is also a small parking lot at the front of the block, or around back. When you turn onto Garfield, make another right into the parking lot. Love this little bakery shop and would definitely be coming back for all my pastry needs. They also sell some really cute cakes!
