Sometimes when an exclusive high end brand 'sells out,' to a conglomerate, it loses it cache when many of its loyal customers, because the loyal customers no longer believe the brand is that exclusive...and sometimes Devalues and with Miley on board, they're right on track. This is a cute temporary pop up shop to check out with cool pink floral wallpaper. Located in the meridian next to The Fountain Bar. 'Gucci Flora' is among the latest fragrance lines and has Miley Cyrus as the spokesperson was a turn off for Me. While she may be a great singer/performer, there is nothing 'Gucci Flora' about her and she is not someone I would like to emulate or exude her scent...a major Gucci gag reflex!!

I went with a couple of friends for dinner- we were around the area and thought it was an opportune time to show them a place they weren't familiar with! I've been here since I was a kid, and though some things changed, alot hasn't! This was during a world cup game, so it was very lively at pub areas as they were broadcasting live. Everyone was so invested, from the patrons, chefs, servers, and even line cooks! Went to a stall selling the 'best corned beef sandwich' from Magee's kitchen. The servers and cook were super nice and the corned beef on display made my mouth water! It was very good, and paired with their blood orange soda, wasn't too heavy! It was a big enough sandwich that I took the other half home! I also got a cornbread muffin from Gumbo pot- which was good but a little dry. There's plenty of shade, though the area is mostly outdoors- lots of trees and buildings with covers and awnings. There's a fancy French market in there and plenty of eating options (though open hours vary). Come by this historic stop, walk through the Grove, and enjoy the hustle and bustle!

You can also park in the Grove's multi-story parking structure, but they will not accept validation from Farmer's Market businesses. The Grove also has Valet parking on premises. As you stroll through the market you will encounter gourmet food stores (such as Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Store), meat counters (such as Huntington Meats), takeout restaurants (such as Stara Polish Pierogi and Sausage, Banana Leaf Singaporean restaurant and Oh My Dumpling Chinese food), and fine dining restaurants (such as ETTORE OSTERIA Italian and Monsieur Marcel French Bistro). You have to wait a few minutes for the coffee grinds to settle the bottom. Otherwise, you'll be sipping on bitter grinds. It's a roaming gem that pops up around SoCal with a curated selection of love stories and bookish gifts - think books, stickers, hats, totes, bookmarks, etc!!! I first found Fleuria at The Coffee Bar in El Segundo during their birthday celebration (yes, the same day I visited the book truck and discovered a new favorite coffee shop!). Just seeing the truck/van made my morning between the pastel decorations, the smell of new books, and the promise of great new reads. Browsing through their books, I was impressed with the variety as there are more books than just romance. And, the prices? On par with independent bookstores. After my first visit, I also went with a friend to their book swap event at the Runway in Playa Vista which the owner of Fleuria had shared with me during my visit at The Coffee Bar. This experience was just as delightful! I got to meet fellow bookworms, chat about favorite books, trade books, and discover some titles I hadn't heard of before. The owner is seriously so sweet and genuine, full of warmth and love for the selection of books she curates. The Fleuria isn't just a truck selling books. I can tell the owner works to create a community in the process: A place where book lovers can gather, where books feel personal. Whether you're buying a book, swapping one, or just browsing for inspiration, The Fleuria feels cozy and special. I decided on the Single Drunk Female Beanie, $5.00, the sweatband/headband for workouts, $1.00, and the coffee mug, $4.00. If I could've paid real cash I would've loved the glass water bottle wrapped with insulated cotton, $6.00 as well as a T-shirt and canvas bag. There were healthy green and fruit juices for sale as well as flavored waters and even a matcha and coffee bar. You were only allowed 1 of each item and that $10 limit. Super fun and colorful, great advertising, very clever and well organized. Loved it!!!
