mini chai spiced/peach cobbler, coffee cake, chocolate chip cookies
Grays T.

I came across Krishna's Pie Cottage in a Facebook group where she posted about her home made baked goods. I told my husband about it and said we should check it out because everything looked delicious. We ended up getting a mini chai spiced/peach cobbler pie, chocolate chip cookies, and coffee cake from her over the weekend. I don't regret my decision at all. Everything tasted amazing and what's even better is it's all gluten free (I can't even tell the different to be honest)! I'm not usually into fruit pies very much, but the chai spiced/peach cobbler pie she made is probably one of the BEST pies I've ever had! The only downside about the pie was that we got a mini size rather than a regular sized one. The coffee cake and chocolate chip cookies were both tasty as well and just the right amount of sweetness. My mom, who's actually not normally into sweets, absolutely loved them! It also reminded me of my high school days (in LAUSD) , as it tasted just like the coffee cake and chocolate chip cookies we had in school. I will definitely be ordering more baked goods from Krishna's Pie Cottage soon!

Thia address takes me to an apartment complex, is this a residential business? And I didn't see it in the shopping strip mall on corner either, help.

There's a self serving kiosk but I crashed at some point when we were looking through our choices. We ended up having the worker help us. They helped me choose my flavor because I was debating on either smores or banana. I'm glad I ended up with banana! Banana(8/10): The cake part basically tasted like banana bread and it was quite delicious! As much as I enjoyed it, I thought the frosting was overly sweet. I would still choose that flavor if I were to choose again! Protein(0/10): I thought the whole thing was very dry and it didn't help with the frosting being overly sweet. Definitely, will not be choosing this again. Service(10/10): They were kind and helpful! I accidentally dropped my cupcake and I was devastated! I asked if they were ok with switching it out and luckily they allowed it! I was very grateful for the worker that helped us! Overall, a place worth trying especially for their service!

However the cupcake and icing was mouth watering. You can order pickup which is faster. The staff are professional and can accommodate for special orders in advance if needed.

And I know that vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting is pretty easy to make, but sometimes I'd rather just buy baked goods than make them for myself, especially when I'm driving past what I thought was a popular (and presumably good) bake shop. I expected a high-quality cupcake. The cupcakes looked cute, but they were as dry as the Sahara. They should have been labeled as white cupcakes as I didn't detect any vanilla in them. I suspect that the "buttercream" was made with milk and margarine and powdered sugar.....so much powdered sugar. It was sickeningly sweet, and it was dry too. And a true bettercream doesn't even use powdered sugar. So not only were the cupcakes terrible, they were not even what they purported to be. This is like calling a cut of meat a filet mignon and serving a hamburger. Von's, Ralphs and Albertson's make better cupcakes than this for a fraction of othe price.

I have been here twice in the past, but not in a long time. Needed to buy a box of yummy cupcakes for my friend's birthday and wanted few for me and my son. Rubina, the owner being so sweet, kind, nice, and helpful helped me to choose variety of cupcakes for my friend, and also helped me to decide what my cravings were.? I went with like 6 cupcakes of different kind, and they looked AMAZING!! Got Chocolate cupcake, berry cupcake with light frosting on top, & Red Velvet Cupcake for me and my son to share. Their cupcakes are seriously addicting, in the most dangerous way!:-) They are light, fresh, yummy, and full of flavor w/out being too sweet. Simply irresistible. They have a clean shop, cute, quaint, and welcoming. They only make cupcakes. No other types of goodies. Just letting you guys know. They do deliveries and small catering for your occasions. Moderate prices. Plenty of parking shared with numerous businesses and one last thing; go see the owner and she will help you to pick out your favorites!

The chocolate varieties taste similar to what my wife makes - you can taste the intensity of the natural chocolate flavor thanks to espresso. It's the secret to a deep, beautiful chocolate batter. The owners are lovely as well. The lady took the time to go over the flavors and explain the lack of heavy sugars. Such a cute spot tucked away in a strip mall behind Starbucks. I'll be back for a 6 pack of blueberry cupcakes soon!
