I really wish there was a price list! This is a beautiful bakery with a lot of goodies but each time I buy the pricing is inconsistent !

Stopped by and grabbed some delish pastries when visiting a friend in LB. Brownies were amazing not only moist and chewy but gorgeous! The Chocolate chip cookies to die for and lemon bars are always my favorite!!!! The Chef came from some amazing restaurants and you can tell with her talent!! When Im back in the area I will for sure stop and try more things. The place is super cute as well!! Decor is incredible!! read more

I keep coming back, wanting this place to be good, wanting to find something they make that is delicious, and every time I go, I kick myself for giving them another chance. Their presentation is gorgeous but their execution is abysmal. Everything they make tastes like a packaged pastry. Their frosting tastes synthetic, the cakes are bland. There's no richness to their flavors or use of quality ingredients. I hope they remedy this issue but for now, I'd recommend going to one of the other bakeries on the west end. read more

Baked has a great cookie. I appreciate soft cookies and have been told by a worker the cookies are soft. One touch and it was hard as a rock. Still very good. The red velvet cupcake I've been told it was cream cheese icing but it was a regular vanilla cream icing. And the cake itself was rock hard as well. Not very tasty. read more

Baked pretty much has the best pastries Ive had in a really long time. Not to mention the added flare to each pastry with vibrant colors... who else has a yeezy brownie? Decided to give baked by the ocean a try today. I was very surprised to see that regular cookies I would make at home were priced at $2 and $2.75 each. Bought a box of 4 to go. The counter staff was clearly overwhelmed but helpful and friendly. I bought two chocolate chip into double chocolate chip. Frankly, they weren't at all extraordinary for the price. I really wanted to like this new bake shop but feel like this will be a one-time stop for me. read more

This place is overrated. The inside is definitely cute, but very small, and the look is probably the best thing about the place. The bakery selection is small and Not great. The cookies had way too much salt on the top, and my donut was all dough and way too thick. Also, the owner was SOO mean to her employees. read more

Cat is baker extraordinaire!!! The shop exudes hues of pink and is so pleasing to the eye, you'll ditch the diet and cave in to the sweets in every case ! Baked can also create any kind of cake from any picture or description. I sent Cat a picture of my son's first birthday crown . She replicated it perfectly ! Stumbled upon this place while walking through the west end and I was pleasantly surprised! The rainbow bars (not cookies maybe that's why everyone is confused about the $) was the best rainbow bar I've had and the chocolate chip cookies with salt on top were even better. This bakery makes the best rainbow bars I have ever had. The frozen sangria is delicious as well. Haven't tried a dessert I didn't like.

If I were able to give their Oreo cheesecake 6 stars I would. The graham cracker crust on this is totally out of this world. The cheesecake is so light you could probably eat about 6 slices of it and go back for number 7. This is hands down one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. read more

I had a rainbow bar from here and loved it so much, I ordered rainbow cookies from BAKED for my wedding - they were amazing! I would definitely recommend checking them out, either passing by on the West End, or for a large order if you need. Ordered a vegan cake for my sons birthday. Absolutely delicious! I wasn't sure what to expect since I had never had one before but it was moist and so tasty. The cake itself was beautiful. Hated cutting it up! I have had so many other tasty treats from Baked. Never dissapointed. Rainbow bars are the best I have ever had. Love the jelly donuts and the chocolate mousse bombs too! We agree with the review of Steven g. on 1/6. We ordered a cake for my wife's birthday and specified the design, the color and the font for the writing and that we wanted vanilla custard filing. While the outside of the cake was not as we ordered, but very pretty, the cake itself was tasteless, and had a chocolate custard filling instead that was inedible. Some of our guests are allergic to chocolate, and we had to discard 3/4 of the cake. When we complained to the baker who knew we had traveled 40 minutes for the cake since we were previously residents of Long Beach, the baker was unapologetic and told us she used her "signature chocolate custard". We had no idea it was her signature custard, it was not what we ordered, and we have never had a chocolate custard cake and would not have expected one. Considering we have been customers of this bakery since it opened and virtually everything else from the bakery had been excellent, we were surprised how bad this cake was and the rudeness of the baker's response. read more

Over the weekend took my 7 years old daughter here to get her a few treats when we were in town visiting some family friends here in Long Beach. When I entered the shop the first thing I noticed was the staff waiting on everyone seemed very disorganized and lost and they were playing inappropriate music for an establishment where families with children shop at. Out of everything we got the only thing good was the rainbow cookies but this is ny so that should be a staple and I live in the city and have had rainbow cookies that are just as good if not better. The cupcakes i bought for my daughter were very bland and the cinnamon rolls were dry and tasted like eggs I could have bought better at the grocery store. To top it all off I heard who sounded like the boss or manger cursing very loudly and belittling her employees. THIS IS NOT GOOD PLACE TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN! I am not sure about the negative reviews but this place deserves nothing but 5 stars!!! Not only is the place clean and spotless, the ambiance is beautiful and fun. Yes, the prices are a bit higher than traditional suburban bakeries - but this place is far from traditional! Everything is made from high quality ingredients and from what I have tried so far everything tastes exceptional. Do not expect to walk in this door and it be anything like other bakeries, this place belongs in the West Village of New York City and we should be lucky to have it right here in Long Beach! read more

This bakery is what we needed in Long Beach and we are proud to be home go Baked! I heard people buzzing all around town and even on the train about this place so I had to try. Every experience there has been so fun, whether with my kids, or just my husband after dinner for desert and frose' (their version of Rose'.) Everything in the shop has been thought through, leaving the whole family feeling like baked is more than a bake shop, it's an event. Each time we go we try something new and we've never been disappointed . They have something for everyone, the kids love their modern whoopie pies and they even have incredible vegan cookies, EVERYTHING is so delicious! We recently ordered a birthday cake with Cat, she made it look so gorgeous we barely wanted to cut into it, but when we did it exploded with sprinkles and all the kids were screaming in delight. Not only are Cat's creations fun, but everyone devoured the cake! It was delicious! We love this light hearted modern bakery and go back whenever we can! read more
