Super charming cafe with a really nice outdoor dining area! Staff were so kind and friendly. All around a great morning stop for some coffee and some pastries!!

The meals were great! Turkey bagel and housemade vanilla latte were definitely shoe stoppers. Donuts and scone were good, though they were a little dryer than we anticipated. That said, we would go back for more. The real star of the show was the orange loaf. It was basically a baby cake and was so moist. This alone is worth going for. Service was great, the men at the counter were super friendly and helpful with recommendations for us. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for a casual coffee and meal.

Cute little spot in town and had to try it out based on the reviews. Super nice inside and cute out back seating and the weather was lovely. Friendly staff and very attentive. Biscuits and gravy had great flavor but not much gravy. When I asked for extra gravy I was charged $6 and didn't get much extra gravy. Breakfast burrito was a good size but they didn't have any salsa which is unheard of for places with breakfast burritos.

Baker and Cook.. Your new favorite breakfast spot. This is a charming little bakery, small parking lot but actually quite a lot of patio seating and a few tables inside in the main space. They have breakfast, a small selection of pastry and bread and a modest breakfast/lunch menu. So, if you come here hungry.. Trust me. Get the biscuit breakfast. "two buttermilk biscuits with house-made sausage gravy, three scrambled eggs and arugula $18" Was talking to the gentleman working the counter and he mentioned the head chef specializes in southern cooking. I'm not a connoisseur with this genre of food, but I've had a fair amount of it. Surely the most enjoyable biscuits and sausage gravy I've had. A local RI place and a local FL come close but Baker and Cook takes the cake. This is also a heavy portion. I was filled up after this and I have a healthy appetite. I know the biscuit and sausage gravy is the main attraction here but the eggs and arugula salad were equally tasty. All around great breakfast (my favorite breakfast of my vacation in fact). One day when I visit again I'll be making my way back here.

Stopped into Baker & Cook for a morning treat. All the baked goods looked so enticing and was happy to see they had tea & coffee. I ended up ordered one of their nutella filled donuts after seeing all the rave reviews. WOW! I also got a chai latte and couple of donut holes to nibble on as I waited. Everything tasted so good! So happy I stopped in to enjoy!

We had breakfast here today and had a great experience! The food was so good, the vibe was chill, and the coffee was delicious. We will definitely be back!

I might come back for their filled brioche donut, they look so good.

A random stop on my trip at Sonoma county. I found this place thanks to Yelp recommendation list of cafés to try at Sonoma. A small tranquil place with warm and well-made food.

Service: prompt and delivered both food and drinks quickly. Food: the Nutella brioche donut was to die for! Dense, rich and FILLED with Nutella. You definitely need a coffee or beverage to enjoy alongside the donut. The turkey bagel breakfast sandwich was just okay in my opinion. The bagel was fine, but no flavors really stood out to me for the sandwich itself. Drink: my dirty chai was not that great. I almost wonder if I received the wrong drink. No chai spices were present and tasted more like a standard latte. My friend ordered a vanilla latte though and hers was delicious.

Breakfast was great. Good coffee. Good pastries. Reasonable prices. The staff were kind. The back patio is a bit small and fine.

If you're planning to order to go: Baker and Cook is a cute, cozy café with delicious pastries and great breakfast options. We live just around the corner and have walked over several times--it definitely deserves five stars for the vibe alone. However, I'm giving it three stars because of a recent to go experience with their salmon bagel sandwich. I ordered it to-go and instead of receiving a sandwich, I got a deconstructed version: salmon, bagel, tomatoes, cream cheese, capers, and onions all packed separately in a box. I had to assemble it myself, which, if I'd wanted to build my own bagel, I would have just gone to the store and done that! What was even more confusing is that my wife's croissant sandwich came perfectly assembled and looked beautiful. So why did I have to play chef with mine? I hope this review helps the staff understand that we go to restaurants to get ready-to-eat meals. We tip to receive ready-to-eat meals. It would be nice to at least be notified in advance if a sandwich or dish is deconstructed for a reason. I'd love to return, and if things improve, I'm willing to change my review after another visit.

I placed my order and asked for muffins, but was told they were sold out. I could clearly see five on the counter, and the employee explained they were already spoken for. I mentioned my kid would be disappointed and asked if there was anything they could do. One employee immediately said no, while another kindly checked in the back and was able to find one muffin for us, which I appreciated. A little later I noticed packaged muffins in the display case and asked if I could buy those, but again was told no. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse from there. I realized after leaving that I never received the pizza I had ordered, and the avocado toast made me extremely sick. I spent the rest of the day dealing with what felt like serious food poisoning. I called afterward to request a refund ( I only asked to refund the avocado toast and the pizza) and left a voicemail. No one returned my call. I called again and spoke with someone who said the manager had just left and would call me back. Again, no response. They mentioned refunding my card and I gave my card digits, but I'm pretty sure I had actually paid cash. Either way, I mainly wanted to speak with a manager about the situation, and no one ever followed up. What's especially disappointing is that I live nearby, come here often, and genuinely love this place. That's why this experience was so frustrating. I understand busy weekends happen, but the lack of communication and follow-up after getting sick was really disappointing.

It's a soft, delicious bit vs the usual bready chew and lets the egg and bacon or sausage shine. While the bacon egg is a classic and just something familiar done very well, the sausage had that sauce that really elevated it. Short line and wait. They def knew their menu. Immediately brought water with cucumber and lemon, very refreshing. I ordered the bread with butter to start, it was excellent. That butter just melts on every bite, taking the bread to the next level. Staff recommended the Rachel pastrami. It did not disappoint. It was very simple. However the combination of the thousand Island, sauerkraut, the pastrami and buttered bread just made it so delicious. It was decently meat packed too. The sandwich came with fries which I inhaled the ketchup that they brought me extra. It also came with two types of coleslaw both were delish. They were not overwhelming with dressing. The yellow one was interesting bc I thought it was turmeric but it was slightly sweet. Delish as well. Also ordered their Italian prosecco. I'm into red wine but for some reason perhaps the environment I felt the prosecco would work and it did! It was bubbly refreshing, tasty, and not dry. Their restroom was big and clean. This is an old fashion deli gussied up for Sonoma. It gets busy but everyone working here is attentive and even nice. There's a ton of interesting cheeses (duh) and pasties (yum) but I come here for the coffee and Butcherman sandwiches. You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches which are large enough to split if you aren't a big eater. Cubano: not traditional but delicious. Ham AND pork sausage. Jack cheese and avocado. Mortadella: with pesto and burrata. Another delicious break with tradition. Even the Arnold palmer (ice tea and lemonade) is good. Couldn't find it anymore...seems like there's been a lot of business turnover in that area - I'm sure at least in part due to high rent...but happened to see "Sandwiches" on the awning in front of Sonoma Cheese Factory. Didn't look it up, took a chance and went for it. From the moment you enter, such friendly folks greet you and point you to the menu and where to go when you're ready to order. So much to choose from, but I went the easy route and ordered the "Smoked Turkey". Expected a basic turkey sandwich with the usual trimmings, and wow did it ever exceed those expectations. The sliced turkey was melt-in-your mouth moist, tender, and delicious. The tomatoes, the greens, the mild spread added at just the right amount to make the flavors pop. Then with the bread - the way it was lightly grilled to make the cheese melt perfectly...made it warm with a slight crunch on the outside, through the melty cheese to the cooler turkey, tomatoes and other trimmings on the inside. Honestly, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. It filled me up perfectly but I didn't want it to be done. Sat there thinking of my favorite uncle growing up in Texas, who, when he ate something really good, would say "well my belly's full but my taster is still hungry". :) It was that good. And again, the sandwich, accompanied by the awesome/friendly service, made the whole experience so good. Will make it a regular stop in my future trips to Sonoma. I'm a sucker for good BBQ and according to a neighboring business owner, you can't go wrong with the brisket sandwich. Yum.
