The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. Between the two, I would certainly save my stomach space for tacos from Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño next time.

Then you have customers hyping it up before you order, making my mouth water drool but when you get your order and take a bite you like yuck This is not a 5 place neither is it worth 4 . At best it's rated a 1 . The food is not even seasoned. Yes it's big portions but no season in the taco meat. I got 4 asada tacos and 1 asada torta for the cost of $29 and both orders weren't seasoned. Service was low level. Ambiance is a parking lot. The music was the only thing that was good. I really can't believe people be so excited to be in line for unseasoned food. Never again. So yes this is not a place I'd recommend to anyone.

I have to be honest, this truck was so disappointing. There is no shortage of taco trucks in the…read morearea so there is no reason for this one to be so bad. We gave it a shot because it was parked right inside the Fairgrounds for the Dinosaur Adventure event that went on last weekend. I should have yelped it first, but we went in blind, and now I regret it. We ordered 2 revuelta pupusas, the 3 taco plate, and the elote. First of all, their prices are insane. $7 for 1 pupusa? $15 for 3 tacos? $5 for elote kinda made sense but seriously, they didn't even execute that one right so still wasn't worth it. It seemed to be a one woman show, so I can excuse the wait time. Everyone knows pupusas can take about 15 min anyways so the wait didn't bother me. My elote was hot, but it barely had any cheese on it. All you could see was mayo, tajin, and a light sprinkle of cheese... I feel like the cheese is kinda what makes it so how are you gonna skimp on that. It was served on a plate, and then folded into foil so I guess that's nice but no. The cheese didn't just fall off on the plate, it just wasn't anywhere to be found :( The corn was sweet though, so I did enjoy it still but the elote mans would be ashamed to see how this one was served. The 3 taco plate only came with 1 salsa. Their mild is a green salsa that tasted like water. I had to ask for a spicy red one which just tasted like roasted pepper water/oil. I was not a fan. The chicken tacos were basically rotissierie chicken meat on a tortilla. No "asado" to be found anywhere. I'm an al pastor girly but this was the worst al pastor of my life. I didn't even finish it, it was that bad. The revueltas were the saving grace but even then.. they were mid. They were sooooo hot though, and had a decent amount of filling. The slaw paired with this was nice and tangy but again, the mild green salsa did nothing for the pupusa. I love when the cheese oozes out of pupusas and get all grilled up, nice and crispy. This pupusa wasn't giving all that lol It could have used a bit more salt/flavor but compared to everything else, it was good and the reason why I'm giving 2 stars. However, $7 for one pupusa is ridiculous. I understand inflation, but the food prices here do not match the food that is being served. The woman running the truck was nice though, so I do appreciate that and how hard she must be working if she's doing things alone. I just wouldn't ever come back.

The crust was very thick & hard. For another $15 I bought a Peach Cobbler. The peaches seemed like it came from a can(since peach season doesn't begin until May-Sept.) I enjoyed this more than the Sweet Potato pie, but for $30 for 2 sample sized portions, unfortunately I'll have to pass.

I paid $55 for a small bag with a small peach cobbler, a small loaf of sweet potato bread, and a small sweet potato pie. The sweet potato pie was good. He explained that it had less sugar for diabetics. I thought it had the right amount of sugar for a regular dessert. Diabetics should avoid eating Patrick's treats. I think it's just a matter of Patrick studying his target audience for pop-up events and festivals beforehand and adjusting his ingredients accordingly. I would say half the amount of sugar in the cobbler and sweet potato loaf would have made it much better. Also, if possible, lower the cost for the 3 bagged items by at least $25.
