The inside was so calm, quiet and clean. The staff were so friendly and patient while I was making a decision. I got one of the specials (grilled 4 cheese sandwich and soup of the day- which was clam chowder). Both were delicious! The sandwich even came with tortilla chips and salsa and they were tasty. On another occasion, I asked an employee about the coffee options and was rudely told that they were closing soon, that they don't make coffee 30 minutes before closing, and that I could only order pastries. I understand arriving close to closing can be inconvenient, and I was only a few minutes away from closing. However, a little understanding and a friendly tone would have made a big difference. Her response came across as dismissive and unnecessarily rude. I genuinely want to support this business, but customer service is extremely important to me and plays a major role in whether I return. I believe additional customer-service training could make a significant difference in creating a more welcoming experience. The pastries are delicious, though, and I would love to continue supporting the business if the customer-service experience improves.
