I started out with a Bloody Mary which was excellent. The service was top notch! Our server Walter was very attentive. We even had other staff checking on us so it was very apparent that they are raising the bar and putting in the effort! The food order came out super quick and the quantity, quality and taste were outstanding! There were 6 of us in our party and everyone loved their food. I had scrambled eggs with ham and sausage links. My wife had blueberry pancakes. The batter had large; fresh blueberries in it and was topped with more blueberries and whipped cream. Decided to eat at the bar. Done this often. Usually the BTs are great. Today we waited 10min to be acknowledged, the BT delivered our drinks, and another 10 min took our order. 15 min pass- she checks on our food. Food comes - its great. Now we are probably 2 of maybe 7 people at the bar. It's 2pm the lunch rush is over. So we eat, the drinks are dry, no BT. No "how's your food? Need anything? ... nadda. ... Not that she wasn't there - she was just too busy with work chat and flirting with the young man next to us - right next to us. I looked at her, waved (2ft from her), placed my empty glass on the bar-fender ... nothing. Ignored. My wife interrupted her - by then I was too pissed to order another drink. Yum! Came here to celebrate D's birthday and we all had a great time. M made reservations and so when we entered, we were immediately seated. Their top floor seating is awesome, it's partially covered and the other part is outdoors with a fire pit. It was a beautiful day and the ambiance couldn't have been any better. This place is super laid back. Our server was the sweetest, she took such good care of us. Everything we tried from start to finish was delicious, their Thai Chili Shrimp was incredibly memorable. Quality ingredients are definitely used and you can taste the difference. Other standouts from our meal were the Asiago Chicken, Shrimp & Crab Pasta, and their crepes. The crepe had a lovely chew on the outside and was smooth within. Their burgers were also well prepared. The bun was soft and light, yet held everything together. The meat patty had a nice sear on the outside but was flavorful and juicy within. This place can get very packed, so making a reservation is a good idea. My lunch crew decided to come to Baker's Crust for lunch. I was the only one on this trip that was a first timer. They had all been here on a previous occasion. The hostess staff was pleasant and friendly and we were seated right away during the lunch rush. We were seated towards the back of the to the side of the bar yet close to the kitchen. Our waiter, Carlos, came over, gave us his intro, took our drink order and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. Carlos was great, he knew the menu, was able to offer some suggestions, tell us his favorite items and then proceeded to take our orders. Throughout our visit he was attentive in making sure we had what we needed. Honestly, he might have been the best part of this entire meal. Now let's get to the heart of the matter. My drink was fab. Pineapple Citrus Sangria ($10) was right on time. I wish my food however was as satisfying as my drink. I ordered the Scallops ($26) and being that they were lightly pan fried I was expecting to be greeted by piping hot scallops. Yea, that's a no..... Only one of the scallops was actually hot, the rest were lightly lukewarm. Kinda disappointing. The corn on the cob was seasoned to the season gods but it was more cobb than corn. So much to the point that as soon as you bit into it, my teeth his the cobb. To the point that you could not take your fork and get the corn kernels off the cobb. This made me sad. I came here for lunch and loved it! The restaurant and bar area are decorated so nicely and they have a good amount of seating (tables and at the bar). Lots of big windows so it's very bright inside! I picked this place because I saw that they had a lot of gluten free options. They have a separate gluten free menu (they asked if I wanted one when being sat, but otherwise definitely ask for it if you need it!). I loved that they had some options in every area - appetizers, salads, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. They offer gluten free bread and buns for the sandwiches and burgers. I went with the Turkey BLT for lunch and it was delicious! The gluten free bread was soft, the turkey was fresh thick-sliced, and the chipotle aioli on it is soo good. My only complaint with the bread is that it is a little crumbly as you eat the sandwich, but that's also pretty typical among gluten free bread so not a big deal to me. Baker's Crust is a place that, before today, I didn't even know existed! It's all thanks to Yelp that my family and I ended up in such a lovely establishment. This app definitely didn't lie on this one! The restaurant is sleek and spotless, and you can constantly see staff members bustling around, attending to tables, cleaning up after guests, greeting new customers as they enter, and so on. What I'm trying to say is that the staff is extremely competent, polite, and good-natured! Our server, Kevin, was an absolute gem and was always smiling, even when our table got a little overcrowded with plates (whoops, our fault - we got eyes bigger than our stomachs!). Definitely a kudos to this lad. It might be a bit overstaffed, though. At one point (maybe my eyes decieved me) there seemed to be four hostesses? Maybe it was just some waitresses hanging around. They were PACKED with filling, the fish was magnificently fresh and crunchy on the outside, it wasn't greasy, and the pico de gallo was, in his own words, with his face full of taco, "mmmmMMM!". My aunt had the Charleston Chicken Sandwich, and this absolute mad lad is HUGE. Definitely would recommend listening to your waiter when they offer the double deal (half a sandwich and a soup or salad for 12.50). Sorry, Kevin, for not believing you! Juicy chicken, nicely put together, not stingy with the portion of avocados, just yummy! My baba had the Asiago Chicken, and it was very, VERY tasty! I can confirm myself, as I stole off of her plate. Every bite was delicious, so each time you couldn't wait for the next one to come. Disappointment ensued when we- I mean, SHE, cleaned the plate. We love this place and eat here at least once a month. Their pizzas are delicious and are a great size for the price. However, they don't allow you to order a kids pizza to go if you're ever trying to call in a pickup order so keep that in mind. Recommendations: For starters we like the fries (they come with 4 dipping sauces - yum!), avocado toast (3 to an order and small but tasty), calamari, and our favorite the Thai chili shrimp! For entrees you can't go wrong with their pizzas, chicken and guacamole panini, tomato and mozzarella panini (I always add chicken), and the Asiago chicken with orzo. If you come for breakfast the chicken and waffles are tasty and so are the pancakes. Not to mention you can order pizza at any time of day! I came to bakers crust for brunch with a friend. I was intrigued by their descriptions on their website and the "questions" they ask. Unfortunately the experience left me realizing that the right questions aren't asked. I started by ordering a Baltimore Benedict and honestly I should have known better but I was feeling optimistic. The Benedict came out with pieces or flavorless crab meat (maybe 2 tablespoons in total) and eggs with way too much old bay. I really didn't want to send it back so I tried it, not only was the crabmeat scarce and flavorless but they didn't toast the English muffin (where is the perfect crust?). The waitress was nice and took it back so I ordered the swanky Benedict with no lemon this came out much better but they still put the fresh lemon all over the arugula. The biscuit was also not toasted or really warm for that matter which was really awkward. The large portion of breakfast potatoes were underwhelming (no flavor just plain cubes of potatoes). The mimosa was a nice pour but at the end of the day just a cranberry mimosa. My friends likes this place so I'm sure I'll be back hopefully they'll get some of these things addressed. read more

We were greeted by a wonderful server and we ordered from the brunch menu: Chicken & Waffle, Riviera French Toast, and West Coast Omelette. Despite the wait, we have noticed that our server was not as engaging nor took a long time to get back to us. The place was not busy at all and we were wondering why our server took a while. Food time! I was hoping my dish (Chicken & Waffle) will taste great, but I was wrong. My dish was not warm nor crispy, the chicken didn't even have flavor and was dry. However, for some reason, Baker's Crust seems rather stingy with the portion size of the Tomato and Cheese Soup. Today's order, for example: the cup the soup comes in was only half-full. They have a good menu with variety of options. We started with an ordered of avocado toast (because why not) to share. Three different variations of avocado toast were served on slices of baguette. I tried each kind and they were delicious. I especially enjoyed the toast topped with a fried quail egg. For my entree I ordered the Charleston chicken and avocado sandwich which included fried chicken, honey, coleslaw, and avocado. My sister ordered the swanky which was an eggs Benedict with fried chicken. The fried chicken in my sandwich was so so good! It was flavorful, moist, and had a great crunch from the breading. It also wasn't dripping in oil which I appreciated. My sister enjoyed her meal as well. Prices were average for the area. Service was ok, our server was friendly, I just felt as a whole things moved a bit slower. Maybe that's the vibe of the restaurant. I had the pleasure of dining here on 2 different lunch occasions with co-workers. The lunch time rush is not bad at all and we were seated promptly. The food took a bit longer to arrive than we expected, but we had a party of four. I ordered the chicken and cheddar sandwich the first time. The chicken was sliced deli style and had a good amount on the sandwich. The bread was the reason the sandwich was not on my reorder list. It tasted like regular store bought bread and I didn't really care for it. The homemade chips were delicious with a nice touch of seasoning. On 02/25/22 my wife and I had a very long day with work and finishing up the day doing our taxes. We got done at 8PM and we're starving. We were in our way home when we stopped by Bakers Crust and arrived at about 830PM. We walked up to the door and saw they closed at 9 and ended up walking away because we did not want to be rude and keep the staff from going home. As we turned around and we're walking to our car, the manager, Scott, came outside and invited us in and told us it was not a bother at all. He was very professional and super nice. No server in sight, we had to holler to the hostess to get our server. 10 minutes later, we finally gave our drink orders. The Lemon aoli was a bit tasteless, but gave the Benedict a more pleasant mouth feel. The show stealer was the home fries, excellently crispy outside, and tender middle. Seasoned perfectly. Too bad for anyone who came after 2pm, because they sold out. I was able to hijack a bite of the chicken and waffles from one of the others in my party, it was great. Lightly crispy exterior, juicy tender inside. Buttery tender waffle in a syrup not too overly sweet. But, you're going to have to ask for butter. Boo. The ambiance is "cute". Hipster farmhouse. Reclaimed wood everywhere. Interesting coffee mugs. It's like they were trying too hard to represent modern farm to table. So it ended up being hipster farmhouse. Not impressed.
