Baker's heck yes! Vegetarian option included! I can't get enough of the Boca burger. It's vegetarian friendly and very tasty. I enjoy the wheat bun, Boca patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato and sauce on this burger. Normally I don't like Boca patties much. I'm not sure why but I love their Boca patty. My other go-to is the vegetarian chili cheese fries. It's so hearty!!! The veggie chili is beans and veggie meat. It's sooooo good lol I can't find that anywhere else. First time coming to this Baker's Drive-Thru location in Corona for a quick and filling meal. Their menu offers a mix of American and Mexican favorites. I don't usually review chains but Baker's used to be a staple in my household when I lived in the IE. I've had the chance to revisit a few times recently and I've been side eying the noticable decline in quality. For starters, I don't quite remember the bun to burger ratio being so off back then. The buns are also slightly on the cold and harder side. The overall burger is good but can be a little dry and lack savoriness. Their fries and sauces (habanero ketchup & thousand island) are good, no complaints there. The biggest let down of this recent revision had to be the chocolate shake for me. I used to be a sucker for their shakes but it didn't hit home the same way it used to. Have my tastebuds matured over the years or has Baker's always been this average? I have a soft spot for Baker's as I grew up on this place but I definitely admit that it's lacking in a few areas. In-N-Out for the win! read more

My husband remembered Baker's Drive-Thru from when he lived in Riverside. We were coming home from Murietta late one night and hadn't eaten dinner yet. We looked up the closest location to the 15 and the 91 freeway and found this location. We pulled up and there was one car ahead of us. I had driven by them before, but never been to one. The woman who took our order was really nice. We ordered the combo which was a burger, a taco, fries and a drink. We got our food quickly and the first thing we noticed were that the fries were hot and amazing! Whoever the fryer was that night was on their game, because we all agreed that was the best part of the meal. The taco was just okay - I didn't really like the kind of mushy texture of the meat inside. And the burger was good and decent-sized. Found this place and figured we'll probably be coming back so I joined their Rewards Club Twin Kitchen Rewards and got a free double Baker with cheese that's normally $5.99. First of all, wow I haven't seen prices like these in a long time! Well, some stuff is budget but then you've got a double stuffed burrito for over $11. Needed something on the go quick! Bakers was right there. Took the drive thru, it was fast and cashier was friendly. Ordered a combo burger with friends and a drink. I have to say, usually all fast food places taste similar however , Bakers tasted fresher and the beef in the burger was super soft and juicy. Overall my first experience eating at bakers was good. Friend employees and above average burgers, coming from a fast food restaurant. Hot sauce was good, ranch was creamy and overall a good experience. Finally got a chance to try Baker's, since we don't have them in Orange county. The worker was very friendly and offered up some great suggestions. We ended up ordering the Cali chicken club, Honey Sriracha chicken, Monterey Double, fries, tots, and an horchata shake. The chicken sandwiches were good, nothing special but good. The bacon was a bit salty and the buns started falling apart. The fries were the weakest part of the meal but the tots were nice and crispy. Let me start by saying that this is an average place to get food. If you are expecting anything more than average food you will be disappointed. There isn't anything exceptional about Baker's. However, these are the sorts of places we frequent when we want something fast and it serves a purpose. We often go here on Taco Tuesday and the tacos are on par with another fast food restaurant many frequent as well. All of that being said, we have been frustrated with the very slow service here, especially during busy times of the day. The drive thru is in a weird place that often causes the cars in the line to go into the street. On top of that, the service is painstakingly slow. The owners are really missing out on an opportunity to be known as a place you can get in and out of quickly. Many times we leave the line after sitting for ten minutes without one car moving. The line often takes at least 20 minutes or more. Management really needs to look into their wait times and how they can improve this for a better customer experience. read more

You can order it big and get sour cream in there as well which I recommend. Fries are pretty good. Burgers are yummy though quite thin patties. Just skip it. I love Baker's as a whole...but the Corona location near McKinley is awful. I was the only person in line on a Wednesday at 11am. I pulled up to the order sign in drive thru and through a popping, crackling speak am told to "hang on" I wait no less than 8 minutes and periodically call into the crackling speaker "anytime you are ready" and "ready when you are" followed with "should i just park and come inside". I never received a response to any of those. Finally the guy comes back on and asks to take my order. I got the 3 taco "deal" w a drink for $6.29 and a lg fry for $2.99. I asked for vegeterian tacos with soy meat. I pull to the window (still only person in drive thru at now 1110am) and wait another 10 full minutes. A credit card terminal is shoved out the window on like a pole or something so the cashier can stay 10 feet away from me and i guess im supposed to know what to do...but i didn't. I wait for the girl to speak to me. Our eyes meet... "Put your card in the machine" she says.... "How do you know I don't want to pay with cash?" I asked. She just stared at me and said "Well do you?". "No. But you did not even ask before you shoved this machine on a pole in my face." "Ok. Put your card in the machine." NICE. So i did. Two more minutes go by (22 minutes total to get 3 tacos, fries and a drink) and then the window comes open and out comes my dronk and 2 bags. She is done and shuts the window. No "Would you like any sauces?" "Thabk you for choosing Baker's" "Have a nice day." NOTHING. I now have 1 other car behind me but i wait because i want their habanero ketchup and salt for my fries. She comes back to the window 3 min later and just stares at me.. so i just stare back. She finally opens the window to ask if i have a problem... Um yah! I tell her i need the keychup n salt. I grab those and head back to the office. I spent my 30min lunch simply picking up 3 tacos, fries n drink less than a mile away. The food??? SHIT. YES SHIT. The tacos were 3/4 refried beans with a sprinkle of soy meat, lettuce and a few shreds of cheese....i did not expect bean tacos. I have ordered these many times and the ratio has always been more meat than beans...1.99 each for bean tacos? um.. NOPE. The fries? awful. Greasy and yet still raw in the center. $9.76 of garbage. Best part was my iced tea that i could have picked up at McDonald's for $1.08. Skip this location. I will from now on. Lesson learned. Oh, and they make $16 an hour now, and hiring. WTF. read more

Extra cheese was added, usually hit or miss when ordered, with charge remaining the same. This location was a hit! Food items were prepared just like they would look like in a promotional ad! This particular Bakers is three intersections (and a railroad crossing) away from the 91 freeway. It's at a major intersection, and the drive-thru has one of the oddest approaches I've seen; you have to turn into the Circle K gas station parking lot off Magnolia, follow the line of cars past the menu board, to the drive-thru window, and out onto McKinley. There's a pretty substantial "hill" up to the drive-thru window, so - if you drive a stick - know that going in. When I went here, it was around 11am. I went through the drive-thru, as this was a pit stop so I could grab something quick, jump back on the southbound 91, and wedge my little Jeep onto the FastTrak lane in the hopes of avoiding the Corona traffic. I rolled in, and was the 7th car in line - one away from the menu board. I waited, as the car in front of my was either deciding on what to order, or just parking - practice, for getting on the 91. After 5 minutes, the lady gave her order, and pulled ahead. Then, it was my turn. Being a seasoned pro at what to get at Bakers that's easily eaten on the freeway, I knew what I wanted. I rolled my window down, and waited. And waited. By now, there were two cars behind me, and escape wasn't an option. None of the cars in front of me had moved yet, either. Finally, the speaker box crackled to life, and a female crew member asked to take my order. I ordered a beef burrito, extra cheese, fries, and a large iced tea. The girl asked if I wanted a large fries. I said no, a large iced tea. This was met with "so you want a large fries?" "No," I said. Okay a sweet tea, large fries, and a bean burrito with extra cheese." "No," I repeated. I slowly and clearly enunciated my order, pausing between each item for effect and to allow the crew member to consume, understand, and translate my words into whatever drive-thru-speak she spoke. Finally, after a couple more back-and-forths both I and the crew member were satisfied that we had reached an accord on what I had said. By now the car in front of me had moved a single car length, so I pulled forward to allow the car behind me to begin negotiations with the drive-thru crew member. Now, I was completely trapped. There was no way out. And - while the six cars in front of me spent a good 5-7 minutes at the drive-thru window, I had time to all my life decisions that had brought me here. I had 40 minutes to do so. It took 40 minutes from the time I placed my order during a non-lunch-rush period to the point where I reached the window. 40 minutes. Now, having reached the window after placing a fairly simple order for three items that required no special handling, I was prepared to grab my sack of fast food and shoot back down McKinley and jump on the freeway. Not. So. Fast. As I pulled up to the window, it popped open and a cardreader on a stick poked out the window. I could see the Rubenesque Baker's uniform-clad employee through the window, and observed the questionable hairstyle wrapping the back of her head as she carried on a conversation with someone else in the store, presumably another employee. She didn't greet me. She didn't confirm my order. She simply decided stick a pole out a window as if she were fishing. At this point, assuming that Bakers didn't properly train employees on counting or accepting cash or having any confidence in their ability to return change, I put my $20 bill back in the center console, and dug my credit card out of my pocket. I obediently placed the card into the card reader, and the card reader was withdrawn for a moment. I heard a faint 'beep' and the card reader on a pole was stuck back out the window, at which point the brilliant conversationalist-turned-card-fisherman or 'fisherwoman' said okay and waited for me to withdraw my card. I'm assuming. So I did. The window snapped shut so that I wouldn't interrupt her conversation, and I waited. And waited. Nine minutes ticked by, while I sat there and decided whether or not to leave. She had my money, I didn't have my food. It seemed like I'd be the loser in this negotiation, so I waited. FINALLY the window popped open, and someone completely different asked if I had ordered a shake. I said no. I seem to be saying 'no' quite often at this establishment, and I'm not a negative person. Perhaps I had been pushed over the edge, or maybe I was channelling my inner angst. It was hard to tell. The girl, seemingly confused by this, shut the window and walked away. She returned shortly with two bags, and a large drink. She said "here's your tea," stuck the drink out the window, and I accepted it. She then handed me the two bags, at which point I drove away. The beef in the burrito was BURNED, the fries were room temperature, and the SWEET tea tasted like someone had no idea how to make tea without it tasting like algae. WORST Bakers experience EVER. Hadn't been to a Bakers in several years. Found ourselves nearby yesterday, so wanted to stop in. Was about 4pm... A mistake... Not sure what happened... place totally empty....yet several tables dirty... floor not swept.. Decided to try anyways. She had the 2 Taco Combo, I had the Taco Burger (or whatever its called) Combo Just wasn't appetizing. And when ordering I noticed a huge pan of fries, underneath the serving station... not underneath the heatlamps, but UNDER that. Where they have to-go bags etc... Told the guy we wanted fresh fries.. he said "dont worry" our fries had that old grease smell Tried to let him know, but couldn't find him again (yeah, only saw 1 employee bumping around ) Not sure if this particular location is like this , or if Bakers overall, things have gone down.
