Staff: The team was okay. From the window to pay to the other employee that came to the window to bring us the food, the service to me was only okay. Quality: We got a combo burrito which is always good. Also, they now have a Cali burrito which is sooooo tasty. Value: Standard pricing you'd expect. Over half the tables were covered in trash, and hot sauce wrappers, had a hard time finding a clean table at the location. The food was a similar quality to other bakers, except the service was SLOW... very SLOW! The fries were hot and tasty, but the large fry looked like a small. Came here today. Restaurant was dirty, service was bad. We were the only customers and waited 13 min before I asked where our order was. The worker said the fry machine was not working. We use to come to Baker's all the time, now I have no desire to eat here anymore. I'm disappointed with this place. Whoever took over is going cheap at the expense of our health and flavor. The husb was thrilled when he saw the Baker's sign by the freeway off ramp. We went in and it was quiet, no other customers but us. Honestly, this scared me a bit, but I figured, let's try it! We went in and we got the Taco Tuesday deal with fries and drinks. Taco Tuesday deal is all tacos $1.69. The husb had tacos with ground beef, lettuce, tomato and cheese. I got the same sans the cheese and tomaters. The tacos tasted good, the fries were tasty and crispy. The employees were friendly. More customers came in as we were eating. It appears that this Bakers gets their business from the drive thru, hence the name. This is staple of IE aka Inland Empire!! If you are from IE, you know about Baker's. I was first introduced to this place during my undergraduate days and I simply love/adore this place. I was in the area passing through and wanted a good burger from a mom and pop joint. Realized this was a bigger chain restaurant and became disappointed thinking it was going to be an average burger. I had never been to bakers before. Let me tell you. I get my burgers plain meat and cheese so most of the time they have to be made fresh. Let me tell you. This was probably the best burger I have ever ate in my life. I swear better than any burger I think I have ever had. I ate the cheese off the of paper wrapper everything was so delicious and the fries were amazing too. Awesome customer service super respectful. Almost went back just to tell them what an amazing meal it was. I regret not going back and giving someone credit for this amazing meal. I will be driving back soon just for this burger. I think this has to be one of the worst Bakers locations now when it used to be one of the best MANY years back. I came in Sunday night to grab a couple of milkshakes for me and my wife. The place was completely empty and maybe three cars in the drive thru but I figured hey it's only a couple of shakes I'm sure it'll be quick instead of waiting in the drive thru. So I go inside and place my order for two shakes and begin to wait .. couple minutes go by and they haven't even started making the shakes yet and then another pair of ( Latino ) people walk in which was a father and young daughter. Now keep in mind everyone working at this time was Latino. So the guy orders two Sundaes and the girl starts to make them right away while my shakes hadn't been started yet. So after about another five minutes the girl finishes making the sundaes while I'm still waiting for my shakes , now keep in mind it probably by now would've been better to go through the drive thru to get it faster. Well she hands the guy the sundaes and he leaves then she walks away to make some food and looks at me and kind of smirks and looks away .. so I'm waiting for over ten minutes now for my shakes and still nothing. The girl looked at me again and I kind of gave her a look like hurry up what's taking so long and she walks back over to start making the shakes. Well a few minutes later I get my shakes and no whipped cream or anything which they at least usually ask you if you want whipped cream and the shakes were like water , literally water purely liquefied nothing close to a shake and she hands me them and says here you go and turns around and walks away. I literally waited 15 minutes in a dead restaurant to get some liquified shake and attitude from the workers. I was so fed up I just threw them away and left. I'd never heard of Bakers before today, but I was in the Fontana area and kept seeing Bakers and thought "man this place must be good I've seen atleast 3 of them". Boy am I glad that we decided to give Bakers a try. Normally somebody in the family will not like something but that wasn't the case today. My chili cheese fries and single Baker were fu $$ing delicious. Honestly that was the best burger I have had in a long time, it was that good. My wife really enjoyed her Monterey burger, and my father in law really like his Jr Baker and ground beef taco.
