    Beautiful non-alcoholic fruit spritzers
    Mr. B.

A wonderful experience! - Delicious drinks, both caffeinated and fruit based spritzers. Unique combinations and it is hard to go wrong with whatever drink you order. Lots of vegan options. - The glasses they come in are cute and fancy. The owner spends extra money to source oat-based to-go cups that you can actually eat! Or just compost. The cups can keep the beverage for 40 minutes before it starts to dissolve. It tastes like a sugar-free ice cream cone :-) Try it! - The service is friendly and quick. Definitely makes you want to come back. Thank you, Nancy!

Had them today at the Elk Grove Pumpkin Festival. Great little trailer coffeehouse. I would have given 5 's however the dark chocolate sugar free iced mocha I got had the powder still at the bottom. Not stirred in. Otherwise GREAT place!!!

Ask the Community - Balance Me Out

I just moved to Sacramento, lived in San Diego prior and used to frequent a coffee shop there that made a mazapan latte and have been trying to search for a place that makes them, seems they do here? Where can I find you guys and hours?

Hi. Thank you for reaching out. The best is to follow on IG balancemeoutnow because I post my schedule every Sunday. This weekend, you can find me at the Midtown Farmers Market 8am-1pm and in Old Sacramento from 4pm-9pm. I’m excited for you to try… Read more

They are owned and run by Journey Church, which is why they are in a Church building and it gives lowkey church lobby vibes. The Coffee here is excellent, I personally love the one and one, which is an espresso shot and a cortado for around $4. Service is kind, informative, and helpful. My one critique is parking is pretty confusing. It's a little challenging to actually find the shop, but it's nothing you can't solve in 45 seconds if you're determined to get your caffeine fix.

Parking was confusing, didn't realize it was in a church and there wasn't really obvious signage from the parking lot that you're in the right spot. I had to look at the other review pictures to be like okay, I am here. Interior is cute and modern, but lacking that lived in feel I prefer for coffee shops. Service was quick. The coffee itself seems to lean towards biblical (lol?) food items. Think olive oil, dates, tahini, honey. I got the Tahini Einspanner because how fun, I can get some tastes of tahini and date but the whip and syrup didn't mix well into the drink despite me aggressively trying so it just lasted like a $7 plain latte. I almost had to bite the whip because it was so thick. Seems like they're using quality ingredients so the intention is there, the executions needs some refinement.

They talk, read, study, meet up, and exist together for a while. There's a different energy here that makes you want to slow down and be part of it. I love this place!!!!! There's more than just coffee and books here; there's a little community. There's a bulletin board filled with flyers for local happenings, book clubs, celebrations, etc. I came here one weekend to study and it, thankfully, wasn't too busy. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, there's WiFi, and a fair amount of seating. I can see this place getting packed during peak hours. One thing I noticed right away was a small book club meeting happening near where I was working. It helped me relax while I was focusing on my work! I think that's why so many of us like working in coffee shops... you can be alone while still feeling connected to other people around you. I'll definitely be back, not just for the coffee, but for the genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Thanks !

As it's my first time here, I did order a drink -- a custom drink -- a chocolate chai $8.49. A little pricey but the drink was very good! I checked out the books and they have a nice selection and some freebies available as well. Would definitely recommend, lovely location and very kind staff. Looking forward to returning here, again, in the future.
