I got my first bite of heaven back when I was about 9 years old. I'm now 18 and still a loyal customer, so that should say a lot. The pizza is AMAZING! I seriously think this is quite possibly the best pizza I've ever had in my life. No, SERIOUSLY. The place is pretty much a hole in the wall and is probably mom & pop operated. It might not be all that authentic, but then again what is? It doesn't come on a thinly baked crust, or is made with fancy imported ingredients, in fact it's just the opposite. This pizza has some serious substance! The crust is super thick and soft, and it comes loaded with cheese, and they dont skimp on toppings! Pepperoni and tomato is my favorite. Growing up we seriously ordered from this place every friday, which probably contributed to my weight gain... but that was a long time ago, and I've learned about moderation... kind of. HA! Anyways, for those of you who aren't lucky enough to reside in or near this place don't worry! This is the Second Pizza Company, but they've expanded over the years and now have locations in Duarte, Sierra Madre, Hacienda Heights, East LA, La Verne and I believe Monrovia is the original, but I could be wrong. I've only been into the place to pick up about two or three times, but service has always been good. The place continues to grow in popularity, but they still manage to deliver your pizza in good time. this was a childhood pizza spot for me and my family. went downhill though, was sold to new owners and nothing tastes the same anymore. the ranch used to be the best part, but now it tastes literally awful. the service is okay, not as good as it was before either. wish they would switch back to the old owners as now the place no longer holds the same coziness that it did before. read more

Finally got to try this place. I went in for two slices and a small drink it came out to be $4.80 Not to bad! I will say, I underestimated the size of the slice of pizza ($1.75 each). Just the one slice alone with a drink would make for a decently sized lunch. I ended up having to eat most of the pizza with a plastic knife and fork since it was to risky picking it up and risking getting myself dirty while I was in my work clothes. I Got the standard pepperoni and cheese slice. I thought it was a bit cheesy which let some grease pool on it. But that's what cheese does so I guess I can't fault the cheese for that, pizza isn't particularly a health food anyway lol. I liked coming to this place it was small inside. Once inside I felt like I was swept out of Baldwin Park. But this place is pretty decent, I'd say give it a try if you're in the area. I'd like to try some of their other menu items. I wouldn't go out of my way for this particular pizza though. But since its so close to work, I'm content. read more

Their BBQ Chicken is probably the best combination of toppings I've ever had on pizza. This time around I bought it for a potluck and noted that some of the cilantro looked 5+ days old because of how faded they looked. I think even if you bake them in an oven it shouldn't look brown or really light green. It still tasted great though and I love the crunchiness from the onions and other veggies thrown on. Combine that with the tangy BBQ sauce and large amount of chicken and this pizza is a sure-fire appetite quencher. One of my co-workers, who's never visited BP Pizza Co kept saying, it looked so fancy....lol. I was just like, the food speaks for itself, try it and if you like it, eat more. One of the co-workers tried it after it had gotten cold and didn't look so good but it still tasted pretty good. Besides their BBQ Chicken I've also had their Teriyaki Chicken which was pretty bland to be honest. I think there were to many neutral tasting ingredients, even the pineapple didn't taste much like pineapple. And it didn't taste like there was any teriyaki sauce on it at all. The pizza here is really good for delivery in this area. It's really cheesy. I say the pizza gets a 3, but my bf thinks it gets a 4. On the other hand, their service is terrible. There is never a problem with the person who takes my order, but half the time, the pizza arrives more than 30 minutes late! I am left waiting forever when I have other things to. Just this week, the guy called me from outside with an attitude asking why I am not answering the door. He was about an hour late, and I heard no knock whatsoever. I first tried the medium thin crust pepperoni, & it was probably the best pizza I had in a long time, slightly spicy & sweet sauce, not too thin cheese, savory pepperoni. The 2nd time I came I tried the large thin crust pepperoni to see if lightning strikes twice, but it wasn't as good as the medium. It felt soggier but maybe it had too many items on it to be as crisp. There's a large seating area & there's also small outside seating. Came here for to-go. Had no issues with my order and quickly went in and out because I ordered through grubhub. I was indecisive about how I felt about the pizza, but now I think I'm not a fan. The main issue was that the cheese was chewy. The texture of it was not appealing. I don't think I will try it again. read more

Just moved in to the area and was hungry for pizza. Ordered an XL pepperoni and sausage to be delivered. They are actually on time and the pizza was fresh. Now for the pizza it's self it was just ok. The cheese was think and chewy. Pepperoni was good and the sausage was good but felt the cheese was a little too much. The crust was crispy and delicious. Used to get pizza from the Monrovia Pizza Co all the time, but we moved away and are now this location nearer to where we now live. The pizza from here is amongst our favorite. During this visit we got a large half pepperoni and sausage and half olive and mushroom. The pizza was very good as expected. I'm a lover of pizza. A pizza fan. A pizzaholic. Whatever you wanna call me, know that I LOVE ME SOME PIZZA. I'm no connoisseur (my love of next day Little Caesar's gets me some hate), but I do consider myself pretty picky. With that said, this place is great. We always get the classic pepperoni. Their sauce is perfectly tasty, and although cheese is my least favorite part of a pie, I'll eagerly eat it from this place. The pepperoni is also delicious and complements the sauce very well. And the crust! My god. The perfect mix of crunchy on the outside and deliciously fluffy on the inside. We've gone here about 3-4 times since discovering it a few months back, and the pizza is always fantastic. Even the day after, I can eat with the knowledge that the pizza will taste just as good. If you choose to eat there, the interior is pretty spacious and comfortable. There's some games, the bathrooms are decent, and there's some TVs to watch the game(s). The only reason I withhold a star is due to the quality of their jumbo size. We've gotten this size once or twice to feed the fam, and it's not as good as the conventional sizes. I'm assuming it's because there's more dough to cover and they need to spread toppings thinner due to the size, but there was a serious difference. I wasn't a fan of the jumbo. But aside from that, their pizza is FANTASTIC, delicious, yummy, all of that. My advice would be to avoid the jumbo. read more

I was previously introduced to this place by my BF when he used to live in BP. And we would order ALL THE TIME and never have a problem. But tonight was a different story. We ordered a large pepperoni/jalapeño pizza for delivery at 10:15pm on a Saturday. Expected time of delivery was an hour, which is understandable. However, when we got the pizza, we were extremely surprised and disappointed to find a burnt pizza in the box. The crust was so hard and almost black. The pepperoni was so dark too, which on most pizzas it's usually red. I hope this experience is just a fluke and the following visits will not reflect this experience. First time here and took me by surprise. the specials they have are amazing . I got the x-large pizza w a free Pepsi. They made it very easy and simple in terms of the menu The wait time was extremely reasonable but I came in hungry so it felt like it took forever hahah..... although it felt like forever, the wait was worth it ! Pizza has very great taste! I usually eat 4-5 slices before getting full... I couldn't finish my second slice ! So some lady stopped by to my shop in BP, and gave us a card for a free pizza with $10 purchase for business owners in the area. And so we gave it a try. The menu was pretty complete. They offer sandwiches, pastas, and salads too. We ordered a medium pepperoni and black olive. and some wings. Spicy, not BBQ. The pizza itself was great! crust was just right , not to filling, and still crisp with a bit of chewy. The wings on the other hand, were "eh". The "ranch sauce" that came with the wings was kinda weird. really thin and had a strong spice to it, not hot, but maybe to much pepper and garlic? The chicken wing itself could have been thrown in the salamander for a few more minutes as it seemed as the wind was just boiled and thrown in sauce. I really like them well cooked with a little crispness to the skin. Overall, the food arrived fast, pizza was great. I'll just pass on the wings next times. read more

I was raised on Petrillo's Pizza and if I'm ever on death row, I will ask for a x-large mushroom and olive Petrillo's pizza for my last meal. Baldwin Park Pizza was a very close second! First, the very good- the pizza, i give it 4 1/2 stars. I will be back for the Pizza. Second, the good- garlic bread and antipasto. 3.5 stars. The bread was ok, but it could have been bigger. The absolutely ugly - the wings, minus 5 stars. Don't get the wings they were horrible. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. They were tuff and had no sauce on them. I would rather eat Domino's wings then their wings. Sorry. Service was good the two girls at the counter made sure that I received what I ordered and said that they were sorry because they forgot to make my garlic bread so I had to wait. read more

The pizza is really good. My grandma bought a house down the street in 1967. So, I've seen this place move from 3 different spots near Olive Square. The pizza sauce is excellent, we love their pizza dough. So, since the late 1970s or early 1980s- this place has been a main stable. Back in the 1970s the other pizza place was called Clark's Pizza which sat across the street where the Compardes Meat Market is now located. read more

Pizza was delicious and staff was courteous. Place was crowded and it took about an hour to get the food but it was worth it.

This pizza is really good whatever topping you add, the have a bunch of tv's and a small arcade on one side of the restaurant. Bathroom seem clean and the staff are cool. I like their amore pizza which comes with carnitas and whole bunch of other meats for anyone who is a carnivore. Great selection of pastas and lasagna as well and other goodies. I don't think they show any UFC fights though :( read more
