This place on the waterfront has a nice lively vibe, nice seating, and a good selection of beers. There's nearly something for everyone. Lagers, IPAs, Sours, etc. Lacking in the dark beer selection though, but I suppose it's more of a summery place so that's probably why. Open seating which can be a bit of a free for all and parking is a bit of a challenge so if you can bike or Uber do that. A lot of families with young kids come here, which to me is always weird since most people are here to drink. The food is a bit limited with typical bar food options and is decent, but nothing that really stands out. The main attraction here is the location since it's right on the water with spectacular views, especially at sunset. The main big disappointment to me was the glass barriers that you basically have to look out everywhere are super dirty and covered in bird crap. We had to find someone to give us waters and grabbed our own silverware, napkins and to-go boxes. Caesar salad: Massive portion, would recommend dressing on the side as it was quite heavy. Fish and chips: Solid Lobster roll: too heavy on the dressing Extensive beer menu and you can get 16oz, 8oz or 4 oz pour. They don't have a flight option so this is the closest you can do. After doing some waterbiking I could not wait to have a cold beer and some grub and Ballast point was right there so how could I not? Things just got worse and worse the longer I was there and each time I asked for anything and it was frustrating. So they have a hellova lot of beer but rhe one beer I asked for they didn't have. Ok I guess ill settle for something else. Then I asked for some wings, I was told they didnt have any. In my mind I could taste wings but I settled for a burger which was actually delicious. The fries.... meh. Then there was another drink I asked for and they didn't have that so I had to choose another. Thank you to the waiting/bartender cuz she was dealing with the hand she was dealt and was really nice. So almost every brewery I go to I love it when they have merch but I hate it when they dont have my size. One of my first sit downs I went to arriving in Cali! My boyfriend told me a bit about it (while my other friends told me of the one in San Diego..!). We went on a weekend evening and it was packed, from the parking lot to inside, as anyone would expect. The outside views and amenities make it worth spending time there, while the ambiance inside is bustling yet casual, with all the patrons doing their own thing. Theres a host in the front who lets us know we can seat ourselves when we find a table and to scan codes and make our order. Once completed, the servers will come out with your drinks and food. Although it took a long while (as expected), the food was phenomenal. Although there were huge quantities of people, the flavor & quality of our dinners didnt seem to be affected by the slightest. My company reserved the Dorado deck for our Christmas party on 12/10/25 and I was shocked at how great everything turned out. The service was outstanding, the food options were so good every item ran out in mins which forced the chefs in the kitchen to make more food quicker than expected. From beef & chicken skewers, veggie cups with delicious ranch, to flat breads with a great balsamic drizzle, cheeseburger sliders, taquitos with tasty mango salsa, and awesome giant wings, our whole staff was happy. There was an open bar and all options were delicious based on a consensus of my colleagues. Upon arrival you can choose a table of your liking scan the QR code, order from the app, pay and just await 'till all the good stuff is promptly delivered to your table. So convenient no waiting times, no delays, just straight forward and with a view. We ordered calamari and fish and chips. We loved the calamari so much but would skip on the Fish & Chips next time. Open seating concept, we were lucky to find a tall table for two available. I didn't care for the way you have to order, off a QR code menu. We advised the host it was our first time so she explain how each table has a QR code (that's where everyone orders drink and food. There is a variety of different food to choose from including vegetarian and vegan which I was so excited about. The ambience was nice. There was outdoor and indoor seating as well as patio seating upstairs. The only reason I didn't give this location a five star is because the servers seemed to be tending every other table except ours. they were bringing water to other tables and napkins and constantly checking up on them with a smile on their face. Unfortunately none of the servers came towards us to ensure everything was ok. We had to flag them down for condiments, napkins or utensils. (Might as well ask for our tip back since service was horrible). The servers didn't walk towards us until we got up to leave, which was unfortunate. I had to double check the QR code to see how service worked. Unfortunately the service was bad. And I'm big on service. At least pretend and ask how everything's going. No human Interaction. This place was great, got a mix of apps and drinks as we came to see if the boat tours are worth it. Ended up finding a top notch brewery along the way. Nachos had a hefty serving of steak and the flavors were incredible, drinks were tasty and the wings were surprisingly big. Mostly self service when you order from their mobile app, the bar was pretty stacked for the weekend and the vibes in the area are high with live music and tons of full parking lots. This place was absolutely stunning! It is such a wonderful spot to check out, particularly at sunset! It had a fun, lively vibe on a Sunday when I went to visit. My friend and I chose to get cocktails (specially the peach mojito) and they were delicious! The pastrami burger and truffle fries were excellent and overall the service was pretty quick. The only challenge I had was with my phone while trying to place my order from the table. Cons: It is a very large and crowded venue, parking is both abundant and, when busy, a complete PITA, and it might be the noisiest place I've ever eaten in, even given its size. Pros: Every server (and gosh, do they believe in staffing, because I must have interacted with at least six of them) was friendly and courteous and engaged. The beer selection was impressive both in range and quality (I've had Ballast Point before, but the in-house selection is so much broader). And the Pastrami Fries -- the one food item I tried -- were perhaps the best pub food I've eaten in my life. Perfectly cooked, saucy, salty, cheesy, and with more than enough proportion to justify the price tag and feel like a meal. The folks by me had the nachos and a pretzel, and both emerged perfectly cooked and were wolfed down. If you can deal with the noise and crowds, this place is worth visiting! read more

The only downside is that there aren't servers coming to check on your table to see if you need anything. At least we didn't experience that. We had a few drinks, the products are wine base, the hubster had two of the craft beers The problem with this place is not that you necessarily order from the app, (I really did not like this), but that when ordering, you are asked to tip in advance, really! If I tip in advance there is no need for the server to work to get the tip. Once our food was delivered , the server never came back and checked on us, we had to flag them down for anything else. My all time favorite is no longer consistent with their food. There have been a few hiccups, recently! I tend to shoot for their Steak Nachos which are unique due to their cheese sauce (white sauce/cheese). On two occasions I've been served day old steak and I mean old (couldn't eat my second bite). The first time, I put the steak aside but the second time, I had to return it and order something new. Service and ambiance is always on point.
