this place is what I'd like to call MIDS. I called and asked the lady who worked there if I ordered 15-20 wings could I get them all flat wings lady on the phone told me absolutely not a problender. I placed my order which was a 50$ order plus 5 for delivery and what we tipped which made the cost over 60$ I then received a phone call from which I assume is the manger of sorts told me they couldn't do that which I explained I called 15 mins ago asking if you could and I was told yes she said she could do it just this one time. I then waited for the food and when we got it the wings weren't all flats like promised as well as little to no sauce and they were barley warm (which makes no sense to me since I live two blocks away), if she would have just told me she couldn't do it I would have ordered from elsewhere that could have actually fulfilled my order correctly. normally the food is amazing I love the pizza cheese bread and subs but the wings are TRASH and clearly the customers service is just as bad as the wings. the only reason I can give two stars is bc my food is normally delicious but this one time I order something out of the norm is not. read more

Great Pizza. Miserable employees. My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town for a concert and when it was over (around 10:30 pm), we were super hungry. Of course, I checked out Yelp and saw that this place had great reviews for their pizza. We walked in and there wasn't any other customer in the place. There was some seating, but it looked to be more of a take-out and delivery type of place. We ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza with a side of ranch. We had an uncomfortable vibe from the place. It felt as if we were coming in during the last half hour of them being open and that we were being a huge inconvenience to the employees- but according to Yelp, they didn't close until midnight and according to the menu on their counter, they were open until 4 am. I overheard the one guy complain about being there, which again, was just uncomfortable. We asked for ranch and were given a very small container, and were charged 50 cents for it. Again, the employee seemed so inconvenienced that I didn't even want to bother asking for another one (one ranch for 8 slices of pizza isn't enough for me, lol). The pizza itself- AMAZING. I'm talking some of the BEST Hawaiian pizza I've ever had, if not the best. There was tons of bacon pieces (REAL bacon too, not bacon bits), tons of ham, and lots of pineapple. There was also a good amount of cheese and the crust was just super tasty. We were mad we didn't order a large to take back to Pittsburgh to enjoy. It was absolutely delicious. 1 star off for the miserable employee who made me feel super uncomfortable for being there. Not a good feeling. Okay, so first off, Bambino's is my favorite pizza ever.. HOWEVER, they should probably consider a new manager. I called and ordered a delivery, they let you use more than one coupon (which is nice) and they said over an hour. Alright, that's fine. I decided to call them back since I live fairly close and ask to change it to pick up and upgrade my mediums to larges, which the guy did. There was a discrepancy in price, but he handled it and fixed it so all was good. He also apologized and mentioned that his manager was in there yelling at him for no reason. So, I get there and they are extremely short staffed. I was there for an HOUR, by the way, waiting for this pickup order (which he said 15 minutes..). At the end of the night, I didn't care about the time, I was upset because they were slammed, phones were non stop ringing.. and the manager was publicly being extremely rude to the employees, bashing them about their work.. there was 2 delivery guys, one in store employee and her.. on the line. It was INSANE and they were doing the best they can, but she was just flat out disrespectful to them my entire wait for my order. Extremely rude and unprofessional. When you move to a new town, first thing you gotta do is find a legit pizza place! So thankful that friends recommended this location! The Eleanor location is special because there is a hidden secret here. They make their own cheesecake....shhhhhh. It's awesome. It's home made and made fresh all the time. If I recall correctly, they have plain, oreo, and cherry. We always have to get 2 separate orders of the cheesecake....bf and I can't share this! The pizza is awesome too. They usually have daily deals and also Groupon or Yelp ads all the time. The location is a little small with little seating, but the guys there are always super friendly :D. This is our #1 pizza place that we always like to go and it's our pizza recommendation for all of our family and friends when they visit. So if you are in the mood for some tasty pizza and delicious cheesecake for dessert, come to Bambino's (especially the Eleanor location since that has the homemade cheesecake)! I hadn't had Bambino's in quite a while, and was tired of the typical delivery options in the OWE, so I sprung for an adventure in pick up. The pizza was good, as good as any other Toledo carryout/ delivery pizza. I got a thin crust taco pizza and a hand tossed Hawaiian. They were fine but nothing to brag about. The cheese bread was also just ok, and didn't come with any sauce, wish I'd have thought to check or ask before I got all the way home. Wings too were pretty typical, tossed in a red hot based sauce. The stars here really is for service. The man who took my order was a delight, and when I showed up he was so apologetic about my order not being ready. He threw in some pop on the house to make up for it. Two medium pizzas, one small cheesebread and a small order of wings was $40, which seemed a bit pricey to me considering the ingredients. Plus, when I got home there were no dipping sauces for the bread and my thin crust taco pizza wasn't even cut. I love this place. Great menu, everything is good. Staff is fabulous. Good people. Thin and crispy pizzas are awesome, try the white pizza in thin crust. Traditional pizza is bomb too. The sauce is perfect. The homemade cheesecake is to die for, the cherry is my favorite. Chicken wings (I love tossed in sweet red chili sauce) are better than most wings places. Onions randomly everywhere! Pizza undercooked. The quality and taste overall was not what we've come to expect after 10 years of being loyal customers. Price has went up and quality went down. First time here as I'm staying in the neighborhood. As I arrived for my pick up order, I witnessed the delivery driver walk in and put on a fresh pair of gloves to asisst in pizza prep. He then proceeded to grab a piece of melted cheese off the pizza oven and eat it. Without changing gloves, he then started prepping someone's pizza (he also took a pinch of cheese and ate it). Front end kid with glasses/beanie was completely indeffrent to me standing there for five minutes (as I'm hearing the woman in the back bitching about being there). Kid finally acknowledges my existence, grabs my pizza, and looks at my ticket. Obviously frustrated that he had to take two extra seconds to squeeze sauce into a tiny little cup which I had asked for/paid for on the side (which he gave me the wrong sauce/at this point was fed up). My appetite has already soured. I pointed out that I had witnessed the delivery driver put food in his mouth then help prep pizza. He looked at my blankly and walked away. The worst pizza and customer service I've experience in my life. First placing the order is difficult due to them using a 3rd party app. Next order comes in completely incorrect. When you call the restaurant directly the customer service is horrible one I've never experienced. The rep literally argued with me back and forth about my order that was incorrect. Don't even want my money back or to replace the most disgusting pizza on planet earth, just was informing them about the app and how they may need to use another. I'm only in Toledo for 2 days my husband had a hosting event to do here. But for him and his celebrity friend (you never know who you're talking to so you should always show great customer service).
