This place hits the spot after a long day of exploring Zion National Park! My husband and I were craving Asian food so we came across this place. Service was friendly and quick but the parking lot is a bit small. We got the Sweet and Sour Pork and the Shrimp w/ Mixed Vegetables to share. Both dishes came with a huge plate of rice. You know it's good when it tastes authentic and these dishes surely did that job! Everything arrived quickly and the food was fresh and hot. I'd rate it about 3 stars for now, but considering everything, I still wanted to leave this review to encourage them to do even better. I really want to give a big shout-out to this place for being run by Chinese owners who actually cook the food themselves. Our dishes came out super fast, and we loved the stir-fried udon combo and Kung Pao Chicken with rice. I've run a restaurant myself, so if I could make one small suggestion--it'd be to maybe use bigger, fancier plates and add just a bit more to the portions. The way food looks really matters too. If I could give a 0 star, I would not hesitate to give it to this Chinese restaurant!!! The restaurant only had two people working out there, so they acted as cashier, waiters, busboys and receptionists to take phone and take-out orders. They were too busy to greet us when we walked in. One of the employees roughly "cleaned" a table for us by grabbing all the dishes and trashes from the previous customers and used his hands to wipe some of the tiny pieces of food to the floor. He then offered us the table while the table surface was full of oil marks and my chair had food pieces on it. He put down the menu and walked away to take care of other people. We had no water throughout our entire menu. My husband asked for some hot tea, which the employee brought only one to him and charged like $3 for it without mentioning to us that we would be charged for it. The food portion was so small for the price we paid. The food came in a 8-inch dish and the dish was barely full. We asked for beef chow flat noodle, but we got pad Thai with beef instead. They did not even care to explain, they just left the dish on the table and walked away quickly. The orange chicken had no taste, but lots of food coloring. Horrible services! And they automatically added 15% tips to the bill and still left an option for additional tips. I did not understand why I needed to tips them for such terrible services and bad food. A few free parking spots in the lot. Open Sunday to Saturday 1130 to 10p. Five booths and four tables of 6 people available. Stopped here since the other restaurants were packed with long lines already for dinner and this place only had two other customers at the time we walked in, so we were immediately seated. Cantonese and Mandarin speaking. Only one guy running the show out front so be prepared to wait. People walking in had to wait at the front until he was available to seat them. Others at the table needing assistance had to wait for him to be free. At one point, when it started getting packed, the two chefs came out to help clear the tables. They are nice guys and it was cool to watch them work together to try to attack the quickly growing dinner crowd. The portion sizes are on the smaller side. Thought I ordered too much but since each order was small, it turned out to be fine (each plate was the size of your own dinner plate). Food comes out very quickly. Tried the walnut shrimp with broccoli, chicken and shrimp yakisoba noodles (extra $2 for shrimp and $1 for chicken), egg flower soup (did not like- don't recommend it), Mongolian beef, and shrimp tempura. Food is ok, not bad but not great, mediocre but since there are only two Asian restaurants nearby the entrance to the National park, it did the job on a cold winter day. 15% gratuity on subtotal already pre-charged on the bill. Pricey considering the size and quality, but caters to tourist and it works out. There's another large room in the back when you head to the bathroom but it's empty probably because not enough staff? We came here after leaving Zion. We were in the mood for some Chinese food and came upon this location on the drive out. The chow mein was good. The orange chicken could have been better. Fast and friendly service! Food came out quick too. We ordered the potstickers and crab ragoons for appetizers, and then orange chicken, beef and broccoli and chow mein for the mains. The appetizers were good, and I liked the chow mein and beef and broccoli. Do not judge a book by its cover. If you walk in and the place seems outdated and/or empty, don't be alarmed. The place is clean and ready for customers. You are at the right place. We walked in and were promptly seated. The place was empty. But within minutes another couple walked in and sat down. Ten minutes later, another couple came in. During the course of this time, three people came in to pick up their orders. It seems like take out is very popular for this place and I could see they had big orders. We ordered orange chicken, chow mein and egg rolls. Everything was delicious, freshly made and the portions were perfect for two. Wish I would have taken a photo of the meal but we were starving. Came in on a Monday around 7 PM, and they were empty. Probably just missed the dinner rush after a day at Zion. The servers were helpful and kind, and quickly seated us, giving us water. We ordered the sweet and sour pork and also the Cashew Chicken. They give you a bowl of rice per person. Food overall was good after a long day hiking. Sweet/Sour Pork was crispy and sweet, with plenty of flavor. The Cashew Chicken was also tender, with big enough portions per person. It was great to have hot food after a long day. Price-wise, it is super reasonable! Around $15 per plate, which is much better than other options in Springdale. Only thing was that there was a worker who was loudly talking on the phone while we were eating. He was also speaking in the main dining room pretty close to us, while there was an entire other room available for him to talk in. Not sure why he did that, but that was annoying. We arrived early when it wasn't busy, so we didn't notice much at first, but once the place got crowded, she was CARELESS with everyone. The food was even worse. It feels like they use the SAME SAUSE for all dishes. Portions are very small, and the quality is BELOW typical street food. Every dish is extremely basic with minimal ingredients. The egg fried rice had no veggies at all, just a little egg and rice. Any chicken dish had maybe 3-4 small pieces of chicken. They are very expensive for what they serve, and its totally not worth it. The food even UPSET MY STOMACH afterward. They knew no one will tip them well for their food and service so they are adding 15% gratuity on the bill, which is crazy for this nasty restaurant. I know finding a Chinese restaurant near a tourist spot like Zion seems promising, but trust me, this place is disappointing in every way. JUST AVOID IT. Stopped in after a day around Springdale. What a treat. We split the King Pao shrimp and veggie fried rice. Both were delicious. The vegetables were fresh and cooked just tender. And the shrimp was fresh with a perfect spice level. Very glad we tried this place. read more

Coming into this place, I had pretty low expectations, to be honest, especially given the location. There aren't many Asian food options, and I was looking for something convenient. Wor Wonton Soup: It was alright given that it did the job for what I was looking for - a comforting bowl of soup. Reasonable portions. Fried Noodles: Large portions that are good for sharing. It is reasonably good for westernized Chinese food. We were able to get seated quickly for early dinner, but it does get a bit more busy later on. We had a group of 15, but we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Monday evening. The waiter (Joe) started of by suggesting that we order similar dishes, but separate orders (I guess to make cooking easier while still getting the same money). His treatment of our group would get worse from there. He served us ice water that had a garlic smell to it. I asked for a spoon because I was not provided one to eat with and he said he couldn't give me one because they would take additional time to wash it afterwards. When the food came, the chicken orders (general chicken and, sweet and sour) had a bitter aftertaste. The hot and sour soup I ordered was one of the worst ones I tried. I was really hungry so I ordered a coke to just shove the food down my throat since I was already paying for my food. When two other people in our group ordered a coke, he asked why are we ordering cokes one by one instead of all at the same time. If he was too lazy to get cokes from his fridge which was a few steps away, he should've asked who else wanted one. Prior to leaving, he saw my friend leaving the restaurant a bad review and he cursed him out asking why a bad review was being left if the food was eaten. I guess he doesn't realize that service (and also taste) is what keeps a customer happy. Well never ever go back to this place again. He probably only stays in business due to being one of only a few Asian restaurants in the area. This is likely because he assumed we'd just follow which we did to our seats. He did promptly get us two glasses of water that I refused to drink because my glass had floaties. We ordered and requested soda with our meal but found out after my husband asked for his meal that they had nothing but water. No indication was made on the menu nor was that information given when we were seated. When we received our food the presentation left something to be desired. Now I realize I'm not eating at a fancy restaurant and the price point suggests that. However, buyer beware, the Singapore noodle I ordered appeared to have been cooked many moons ago and simply reheated. My family and I stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a place to eat since we were going to go hiking at Zion National Park. Before we came in, a couple told us that the food wasn't good, so I had low expectations for this restaurant. Additionally, some reviews on this app said the service and food were terrible. We immediately got seated and it took around 20 minutes for our food to come. We're a group of 4 and we were the only ones at this restaurant so I liked how our waiter prioritized getting us settled. I decided to order the Beef Broccoli and I thought that it was an amazing meal. My sister ordered the Garlic Shrimp but didn't finish (that's because she doesn't eat huge meals) so I decided to try one but I wasn't a huge fan.
