Me and my buddy eating the amazing food

We were looking for food after eating crappy "5-Star" hotel food all weekend. We saw this place while driving around and we thought we had struck gold, but really we found a diamond. This place not only had delicious food, a large selection of it, very kind workers, and a chill environment. I am from Pittsburgh but I would take the drive to come here again. The California rolls are amazing, if you need a place to go for some good food, this is it.

Service and food has went down hill and the price up. Everything was cold and didn't refill the hour we were there and 5 other families there. Kids happy, Mama not so much.

"New" crab Rangoon. Not nearly as good as it used to be.

My wife and I have been coming here since the 1990s and we watched the previous owner's kids grow up. We walk in tonight and the place is under New Hispanic ownership. That's a first for me. Chinese place. Used to have to pay before eating, now you pay after eating. Okay, fine. We came here for the food which has always been great. The good news is, there were lots of staff. Previously, that wasn't the case. So things are looking up. Not so fast. There was almost no food. The food that was there was old, overcooked and absolutely terrible. Awful. And people who know about the crab Rangoon here - KNOW it's the best. Not anymore it isn't. They don't make it the same way any longer. Really a dumb move Mr. New Owner. My wife didn't even eat. My son has been here with me before and also liked it very much. Not any longer. Really disappointed. A long standing place I'm crossing off the list. After we wondered what happened to the former owners, who were very sweet people, I found this on trip advisor: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g37155-d905284-Reviews-Bamboo_Gardens_Buffet-Greenfield_Indiana.html. Take a look at the review from April 2023. Almost just like mine. Sad day greenfield! Sad day!

I thought the food was very good. I'm always nervous about buffets but this place is worth trying.

Ick. Expensive. Bad crab Rangoons. Sticky tables, silverware, and buffet utensils. I'd find somewhere else.

I love their seaweed salad and green tea ice cream. The other locations don't always have these two items. They have a great selection of various kinds of sushi as well as many other Japanese specialties. Their Tempura is some of the best I've ever had anywhere. I recently had a girls night out here with two good friends who are dealing with a-lot of hardship and this beautiful delicious meal Lifted our spirits and satisfied all craves! Anytime I come here alone or with friends it's a wonderful experience. Also you get a lot of quality food artfully presented for very reasonable price.

Watami has one superpower--One unique selling point that it does well. And honestly, it's really…read morethe only thing it does well. But this singular power is strong enough to cause me to stop in from time to time. So you have to ask yourself... what kind of sushi eater are you? If you or anyone in your party is a sushi aficionado (read: sushi snob) then Watami is not for you. The food is good, and the Godzilla roll is probably one of the best cooked sushi rolls I've ever had. So the food, itself, is appetizing and worth a visit. But if you are looking for an elegant evening of dining, a trendy sushi bar, or even just decent service... keep looking. Watami is not for you. On the other hand, if you simply want to eat an ungodly amount of udon noodles, vegetable tempura, sashimi, and sushi rolls with no shame, that's where Watami shines. Their super power? All you can eat sushi. A tablet is stationed at each table with the menu, and you can order until your little heart (and stomach) is content. I ate so much fish on Saturday night, they probably should have tested me for mercury poisoning. I miss the days when they simply had a laminated menu and you made marks with a dry erase marker. This meant your server was visiting your table frequently. Now that the menu is on a tablet, they only need to bring you the food. However, drinks aren't on the tablet. My friend couldn't order a glass of plum wine until our meal was almost complete. Pro tip: if you go in a large group like I did the other night, I would suggest clicking the "send" button at the top after each order. We passed around the tablet and everything came out on 1-2 large platters. If you know everyone in your party, it makes for a fun family style meal. But if you are with new friends or order something specific, I would place your order, first, and then pass the tablet.

The mission: Find delicious food to eat for dinner that is both tasty and easy to take home and feels a little special. The parameters: Not pizza. When you need something tasty and easy to take home and enjoy at your leisure, sushi is the clear choice! Sushi House made it easy to order online and I could choose the option to have everything bagged up and ready to go. It was so easy to walk in and grab my bag and head home. The cold food was cold and the warm food was warm and they were thoughtfully kept separate. An easy dinner that was both delicious and caused no headaches. Sushi house is yummy and a solid sushi offering. The menu is pretty extensive and offers udon noodles and hibachi-style meals, as well. The Geist roll was over the top and a bit decadent and oh, so good. They also make a good Godzilla roll, which has become my cooked roll of choice. One thing I enjoyed was all of the add-ons at the bottom of the menu! I got extra eel sauce and spicy mayo as well freshly sliced mango and avocado. This really added to the experience. I paid for these extras, but it wasn't much. Whether it's NYE or any other night of the year, sushi is always a great option to think outside of the [pizza] box for a take-home meal. Sushi House makes it easy to order online and pickup at your convenience and also provides some pretty delicious sushi.
