I thought the food was very good. I'm always nervous about buffets but this place is worth trying.

They do not have sushi and this place has very poor food and service. Stay away of this place.

We were looking for food after eating crappy "5-Star" hotel food all weekend. We saw this place while driving around and we thought we had struck gold, but really we found a diamond. This place not only had delicious food, a large selection of it, very kind workers, and a chill environment. I am from Pittsburgh but I would take the drive to come here again. I have to admit, we haven't been to a buffet in a while, post covid. We tried this many years ago, and didn't care for it, but was in the area, and thought we would try again. We were pleasantly surprised! Everything was hot and fresh, and our dinner was great! The lo mein is some of the best I've ever had on a buffet. They also had potstickers that were really good too. I tend to like chicken dishes, and really enjoyed the bourbon and pepper chicken. Very happy we gave another try, we will be back! read more

We enjoy a lot of their food. They generally have a diverse selection so there is something for everyone. We enjoy their Hot and Sour Soup when it is not real spicy. They also have salad bar with fresh fruit and desserts also. The only issue we have is if you go toward the end of lunch service the food is not hot so they must turn the steam tables back. I can understand but there must be another answer. Perhaps during the last hour of the lunch time you could just order what you want from the buffet's but it would come from the kitchen while the buffet area is being cleaned and ready for dinner service. We have ordered take out from there and it is always hot and very good. They do a good job of checking on you and asking if you need more drink. Service is good even though you are doing most of the work. read more

My wife and I have been coming here since the 1990s and we watched the previous owner's kids grow up. We walk in tonight and the place is under New Hispanic ownership. That's a first for me. Chinese place. Used to have to pay before eating, now you pay after eating. Okay, fine. We came here for the food which has always been great. The good news is, there were lots of staff. Previously, that wasn't the case. So things are looking up. Not so fast. There was almost no food. The food that was there was old, overcooked and absolutely terrible. Awful. And people who know about the crab Rangoon here - KNOW it's the best. Not anymore it isn't. They don't make it the same way any longer. Really a dumb move Mr. New Owner. My wife didn't even eat. My son has been here with me before and also liked it very much. Not any longer. Really disappointed. A long standing place I'm crossing off the list. Diamond in the rough! Wedged between two hotels and close to the highway. We stopped here missing the buffet experience and we're so happy that we did. Seated right away we were able to grab plates and pick out yummy options. I was a little nervous that the options were going to be too limited but pleasantly surprised to be wrong. They wasted no space here by loading up on all the favorites: General Tso, bourbon street chicken, beef and broccoli, teriyaki chicken, Szechuan chicken, chicken on a stick. They offered steamed rice, fried rice and lo mein. Even options for our daughter that included pizza and French fries. There's a little bit of everything here and they really went out of their way to cover all the bases. Personally I loved the garlic green beans as well! Delicious! Finishing off the meal we had ice cream, cake, melon and sugar donuts. We left with very full bellies and happy. Only drawback was the lack of music in the background. There's something shady going on here. The cashier came to my table to check me out before I could walk up to pay. She ran my credit card through her phone and then refused to give me a credit card receipt. This is no way to do business. Best buffet I have been able to find in town. I think when you review a buffet you have to take into consideration that it is what it is. This isn't an elegant dining experience. This isn't something that you will walk away from feeling fresh. This is a down and dirty, hike up your skirt, and pop that pants button open experience. The food here is always consistent. We were too busy enjoying all the great food and forgot to take pictures. The past few times we had been here the food was just so-so. We ate there last Friday with friends and everything was great. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was all the correct temperature and plentiful. Hubby's favorite is Pepper Steak and it was on the lunch buffet. 4 stars for this reason For the area, it's the best Chinese food we've been able to find in over 2 years. Is it perfect? Nope. Is it the best Chinese food you have ever had? Also no lol is it about what you would imagine for a small town Chinese buffet? Pretty much. The selection is decent, and we have never had cold food or needed to return food due to quality/taste. Drove in to a hotel and saw this which I thought might be better than the chain restaurants. The place looked clean. Two tables were set for cutting beans and rolling silverware. Large variety and pretty much what you expect at any Asian buffet. Top picks: boiled shrimp, jewel shrimp stuffed mushrooms and the California sushi. We were there at 7:40 and a lot of food looked dried or over cooked. The potstickers tasted good but most were burnt on one side. The brown soup I thought was hot and spicy was beef broth over cooked with corn starch. Might have been a bit tasty but Luke warm. Did I say the sushi was good? Price was about average to any place else $12.95. + the drink (other than water) I probably would pass this again but worth a try if you don't like the other choices. FTA- not bad, but certainly nothing to write home about Went out to lunch with some co-workers during my first week of work, and we ended up here. I dare say this is the only Chinese restaurant in a 5 mile, maybe even 10 mile radius. For a $6 buffet, it's about what you'd expect. They have a variety of Asian dishes and American dishes, heck they even have sushi (though I did not try any. As a rule of thumb, I tend not to get buffet sushi, unless that's what the place specializes in such asTodai, Onami, etc...). No one dish stood out, but for $6, you certainly get your money's worth. It costs as much as a value meal, or a sub combo at any of the sandwich places on State Road. If you're craving fast food like Chinese food at a decent price, check this place out. Food quality is average to below average. I tried every kind of chicken they had chicken wings general tso chicken and Bourben chicken. Chicken on a stick. All tasted the same. My family has gone to bamboo garden since it opened in greenfield ( i believe around 1990) and although there is a lot of competition with where to go for Chinese restaurants, as there are many Chinese restaurants around the greenfield area, me and my family usually pick bamboo garden for a few reasons. Of course, with any restaurant they have problems, but the pros outweigh the cons. Pros- The food is amazing, their sugar biscuits(i believe they are called) are very well made. My favorites that I get there are crystal shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, pink fluff, crab rangoon, and french fries. The service is quite good, the people that work there are very kind, and you are seated right after paying, and can immediately eat. The food hasn't ever been cold, or gone bad when i go to eat, which is to be expected of a restaurant, but still appreciated. And the style, the paintings and music they have in the background makes the restaurant feel peaceful and traditional, overall a lot of good things going for the restaurant. Cons- The biggest problem they have is the selection, there's only about 30 foods you can eat there, which sounds like a lot, but for a Chinese restaurant they should have at least double, and not all of them are good. And the sushi they have is not that good in my opinion, which is not what you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant it has hardly any fish in it, and most of the sushi they have only has 1 thing in it other than rice and seaweed.
