I've dined in at this location several times, but this time when we came as a group we received great service and had a wonderful time. Shout out to our server Brandi for accommodating a large group with patience, smile and professionalism! Some people arrived late so the timing of ordering food was tricky and it took long but they all coordinated everything well for us. Food was great as always. I've also noticed that in this time and age they have not increased menu prices for years (at least things I order stayed the same) which is impressive. In other restaurants it's common to see prices go up by $1-2 every year. Here, prices and serving size have been the same as far as I'm aware, which is why I like Long Horn. read more

For starters, entrance is best done from the street side. Unlike me going through the mall parking lot which is riddled with potholes. I had lunch here with my mother and I was really impressed. The bread was delicious as was my house salad. For lunch I had the lemon chicken and it was excellent. It's probably one of the better restaurants on Washington Street. We always get the same terrible server every time we come in. She's frustrating and we just started going to Southport. I ordered a larger filet, my MIL ordered the smaller one, and our steaks were the same size. I told the waitress that it looked like I got a smaller steak and could she please check, she seemed bothered but did. I was told food correct. I haven't been back there because I feel like I was taken advantage of. Employees there just have had an attitude or the hostesses seem bothered to put their phones down seat us. Delicious! Great service ! I took my little sister for a bite to eat after shopping. I joined the waitlist because I thought there would be a wait at 5:30pm on a Friday night. We arrived and there was no wait. We were seated and greeted by our friendly and attentive waitor. We started with the Parmesan spinach dip and it was perfect temperature and the crunchy pita's were perfect. I ordered the ribeye with broccoli and a sweet potato. My steak was perfectly cooked how I wanted 'medium'. My broccoli was cooked so tender, this never happens at restaurants. They cook the broccoli this good. My sister ordered the bbq chicken and shrimp with French fries and Mac and cheese. We both really enjoyed our meals and great service. It was not super loud, so we were able to hear each other to have conversations. Definitely recommend this place when your on the east side. Visit: Thursday, 12/18/25 at approximately 5:30pm We waited 29 minutes before anyone came to our table. When our waitress arrived, she seemed disengaged and uninterested, which immediately gave the feeling that we weren't welcomed and were more of an inconvenience than guests. My mother ordered water and was brought steaming hot water in a coffee cup. When we looked confused, the response was sharp: "I thought you said hot water." My iced tea arrived without ice, and despite asking for ice three times, it never came--I eventually got it myself from the bar. When ordering a sweet baked potato for my 89-year-old mother, I clearly explained she is allergic to cinnamon and requested brown sugar instead. The potato arrived covered in cinnamon. Our waitress never checked back, and we had to flag someone else down to fix it. Water refills never came. Our waitress repeatedly walked past without speaking, and when she did, she called us "baby" or "baby doll," which felt uncomfortable and inappropriate. The food was just okay. More concerning, this was our third visit in recent months, and the overall experience seems to be declining. We understand servers are human, and we don't know what our waitress may have been going through that night. What we do know is that we were carrying a recent loss and simply hoped for a quiet meal and a bit of kindness. read more

I was greeted at the door. Seated pretty quickly. Being vegetarian, I still love Longhorn because they have tasty sides. Today, I tried the macaroni. I had no idea that you could get it without bacon. I also ordered my usual, brocolli and mashed potatoes. Erin was my server and she recommended a long Island, which did not disappoint. After I was seated I ordered a drink and appetizer. My order came without the dressing but the French onion soup came with what looked like a brick of cheese was placed on top. I was offered a replacement so I chose broccoli and then that came cold along with my incomplete chicken sandwich again. I could hear the waitress tell the kitchen the broccoli is cold. I had to request to speak to the manager since he didn't come on his own. The manager began to tell me that he was told about my food. He also kept talking over me and cutting me off with excuses. The manager said he watched my order from the beginning so I said well then why is the broccoli cold? I asked him about the French onion soup appearing like a brick of cheese was placed on top. He said they always put 3 slices of cheese on top. He insisted he looked at mines and stated that's the way it was supposed to look. You couldn't get to the actual soup for the mountain of cheese on top. Then to top it off at the end of what was supposed to be a special treat to myself a bug landed in my drink from the air vent that I was in direction of. Before leaving I then noticed how more involved the manager became with other guest after my experience was so horrible! Shame he didn't start that way. Really like this location, have been going there for many years and have never been disappointed. They have especially good chicken options. My favorite is the Parmesan Crusted chicken. Not sure about their steaks as I never order them. Consistently good service and ambiance as well. 11/5/2023 The wife and I got there about 5:00 p.m, wife ordered the ribs only to find out they were out of ribs, its only 5 pm in the evening, what restaurant runs out of ribs that early. I ordered a ribeye ( med rare to medium) it was cooked right, steak was a little tough. Also order asparagus, Blaine no seasoning. Ordered French onion soup, first one was cold, second one had no broth and to much cheese on top. The manager did compt the soup and steak. Went to longhorn tonight and the service was atrocious. Our appetizer and salads came after the entrée. We requested second drinks that never arrived. We asked for sides of ketchup and mayonnaise that never arrived. The manager did deduct the appetizer from the bill. The waitresses was pleasant but completely absent. She held the ketchup in her hand for almost 10 minutes as observed by my date and it was never delivered. Very very very disappointed!! The food at this Longhorn is pretty good. The service was a bit on the slow side, considering they were not very busy when we arrived. The hosts weren't very friendly at all and almost seemed annoyed that we were there. Our waitress was very friendly, but she didn't come to our table very often so we had to waive her down multiple times when we were out of water or needed something. The food had a great flavor, just the temperature was off. My steak came out cold, which is definitely a pet peeve of mine when we waited so long to get our food. I ordered online to go for the family. The app said 30 mins my food was ready and it was. Everything was fresh , and good. Lornhorn has these best ribs and the bbq sauce should be bottled and sold, it's so good. My salmon was cooked perfectly, and the baked potato and brussel sprouts were tasty as well. My kids enjoyed the kids meal. My husband had the crispy chicken salad. His feedback was it could have had more chicken but it was good too. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is because , you have to go in to get your online order. I've tried several times calling or texting when I get there for someone to deliver curbside but they never come out. I understand they are busy so it does not bother me. Four of us ate at Long Horn last night. They were busy but not slammed, because they were not seating people in the rear section. It took too long to even order our drinks. We were tempted to leave. One of us ordered a drink from the bar, that took at least 30 minutes to get. It took at least 45 minutes to get our food. While we were waiting on our order, one of the waiters got is backpack out at the front of the restaurant to spray on cologne. We were sitting close enough that the spray and smell came our way. It was just too over the top. I ordered a ribeye that was floating in so much grease it was hard to eat. Our baked potato had so much salt on the top it made it disgusting but to eat. The. It took so long to get our check, that I really thought about walking out. Once we did get the check it took at least 15 minutes for the waitress to come back and then another 15 minutes to get our card back. At this point I left my husband in the restaurant to deal with it, i was not at a point I could tolerate the lack of good service. I was told to hold and waited for over 24 minutes one time then again for over 14 minutes. On a recent dinner with my wife I ordered the surf and turf, lobster tail and filet. Lobster tail was perfectly cooked and delicious. Then I got started on my filet. One problem, as soon as I cut into my FILET I realized I had been brought a 6 oz sirloin. I asked for the manager, because it wasn't a cooked wrong problem it was a wrong cut problem. So, the manager had the staff bring me a new FILET and sure enough they gave me another Sirloin. I called the manager back to my table and showed him that my filet was not a filet but a sirloin and I asked him... You know this isn't a filet, why are you trying to pull this bs. I decided to come for my dinner to Longhorn Steakhouse and Jackson was our server. I'm allergic to Pork and ordered the loaded potato soup but asked the server if we could get it with NO BACON. we were told yes. Our server was a Certified Trainer.... Who proceeded to tell us that he made the soup himself and didn't put bacon in it. Got my food to receive bacon in my soup. called a manager over ( the GM ) TJ... Who when walking up didn't offer a genuine service to De-escalate a situation especially an " ALLERGY ISSUE " we got told from the Gm " I don't know what you want me to do " I'm a current bartender and server at my job " Have worked in the food industry for years ... My managers would have walked up with a " I'm so sorry I heard there was a mishap that happened , offered something for the inconvenience, and apologized. Being told my a manager let alone the General Manager " I don't know what you want me to do " is BAFFLING and crazy. Part of manager training is learning how to de-escalate any situation. We were all very calm about the situation again coming from " current food industry employees " but felt there was NOT A SINGLE CARE in the world for my issue. I wasn't looking for empathy I was lookin for a genuine care in the world especially since it is an " allergy issue " not just " my steak wasn't cooked right " this is a life or death issue. A good stiff drink pairs well with a hot tender steak on a bitterly cold day. They have some of the best bread ever! We always go through at least two loaves. I sat at the bar, after about 5 minutes, I started my stopwatch to make sure I was getting a good time representation. I had to ask a waitress if I could have a server, she said they were busy and I would need to wait, after 5 minutes, I had asked again. I decided to leave after 15 minutes has elapsed on my stop watch. The place was a mess, allot of workers standing around, whooping and hollering in the kitchen area. Pretty disgusting. Along with the mess and no service, I noticed that there were people who cam in after I did being served in front of me, thanks to the elderly German Bartender. Thr management was rude. We were told there was a 25 minute wait for our group of 5, however four other groups, all who arrived after us, some at least 5/10 minutes, were sat before us. When I questioned the manager about this, he said 5 was a large group (no, it's not) and they had to wait for a large table to open. There were several clear round tables which which will hold 5, a table for 8 that had sat uncleared since we arrived, and a couple more suitable table I saw as I walked to the restroom. Somehow it was easier to seat multiple small groups than clear a table. For a place with mediocre food they should have better service by management. We visited this restaurant on Wednesday evening and sat at the bar. It was pretty busy for a week night. We sat close to the kitchen and had a close-up view of all the delicious entrees coming out. We ordered one of our favorite entrees, the Cowboy Pork Chops with the hand-chopped salad. For our side we ordered the Maple Roasted Spaghetti Squash from the signature side menu. The pork chops were seasoned just right for a finger lickin' good taste. The squash was thoroughly cooked and topped with maple syrup giving it a sweet taste. So delicious. Really weird vibes here. We went last night because I had a birthday email coupon. We were sat in the back and it took about 20 minutes for us to meet our server. She immediately told us they were having issues with their computers and apologized which we appreciated. But everything just kinda fell apart from there. We placed our order and then about 10 minutes later we got our drinks. Never had any silverware, and when the bread came about 15 minutes after our drinks, we had to ask for some which also took awhile. Then like 2-3 minutes after our bread came, our steaks came out. We hadn't received our appetizer or salads yet. The lady who brought us our food wasn't our server and she said she would let our server know we hadn't gotten the rest of our food. We didn't get the appetizer until later, and the salads didn't come out until we were almost completely done with our steaks, and everything was just so backwards. We asked for a refill at one point and never got it until we were completely done with the meal. We found out this was happening to the table right next to us as well who had the same server. The manager came to our tables and we tried telling her about it but she was just like, "Well... we will see what we can do." It just felt very uninterested and kinda a "it is what it is" type vibe. They gave us a discount on the food which we also appreciate, but my point is, why was no one helping this server? She was obviously extremely behind and overwhelmed and the tables next to us who had different servers seemed to be doing great. There were lots of younger looking workers up by the hostess who could have been delegated to get things for tables or just anything so there weren't a bunch of customers just being forgotten about. I understand there was a computer issue but there could have been a plan set in motion to help so this type of stuff doesn't happen. We were there for almost 2 hours just waiting on service, food, and the check. I'm hopeful in the future there is more teamwork or better plans set in place by management. read more
