Spring Rolls are always premade and served cold and this peanut sauce was excellent. The Bahn Mi was a little disappointing though. The pork was not warm or fresh tasting and generally lacked much flavor. I'm guessing, because if its location (middle of business park) and delivery and take out volume it's geared more towards serving employees of neighboring businesses. I ordered brisket pho with extra meat to-go, and when I got home and started eating, things were normal at first. HALF OF THE BRISKET was good! And all of the noodles! I noticed that the other half of the meat had this strange texture that didn't seem normal for brisket but I didn't care until I ate some of it. It was terrible, it had no flavor, and the texture made it even worse that I had to spit it out. I still ate the noodles so that I didn't starve, but I left all the weird meat as you can see. Is this what happens when you order at 5:03pm? Did they purposely choose some of the leftover bad meat as the "extra" meat? Or was it maybe an innocent mistake? Maybe it's something normal that should be expected when you order 1 hour before they close? I don't think that one makes sense, though. I probably won't come back for a while and try out a new place instead.

I stop by there again yesterday because my relative live very close by, this time even worse than the last few times. The new guy work there doesn't speak any English but he was staring at me and my 2 cousins (lady) like he never seen a woman before. Then he found out we are Vietnamese so he said he is the owner's brother and he tried to ask we out plus our phone number but we didn't give it to him. He tried so hard with alot of ways that's he can think of at that moment. He is so low, be nice and be a man even if he wants a girl so bad, he didn't care about other customer beside us and that's time was rush hour. People on the two table on my side was yelling at him by English but he didn't understand or even notice. The worse thing is my cousin found hairs in her bowl of Pho. She called the owner came over and show her 2 hairs on the piece of napkin, the owner just fold and took it away without saying anything at all. How you think if this happen to you???? We used to frequent Bamboo House until they changed owners (I think) then we started to go to What the Pho, but they closed early on New Years Eve and although I could hear a lot of people in the background they would not take our to-go order, so we went back to Bamboo House. So I'm not sure what the problem was when we switched, but we ordered several to-go items (big loss for What the Pho) and it was really good! I especially liked how they packaged up the soup ingredients, nicely separated and not all already mixed together in one take out box like they do at the other place. This was very helpful for my teenage daughter who isn't a fan of jalapenos and bean sprouts. The short ribs were tender and maybe slightly not as well seasoned but they hit the spot. I'd recommend giving them another try if you, like me, switched over. Now I am confused about which place to go to, but I guess I'll let my kids determine that next time we venture out for Pho. read more

Shared a banh mi with my wife and we each got our own thing. She got a grilled pork rice plate and I got the pho with everything. The pork was extremely tender, nicely charred and flavorful. The pho was flavorful but not too heavy on the msg aftertaste. One of the best grilled pork banh mi in the area and dipping it into the pho broth was a game changer. I come here way too often because their tofu spring rolls and peanut sauce are to die for! No, seriously, it's almost too good to be true. The food here is awesome and priced great. There's one waitress (maybe a daughter or cousin) that clearly acts like she doesn't want to be working there and is always in a terrible mood. There's a small container of extra sauce if you want to indulge further. I'm not sure if it's the same sauce they use to baste the chicken with - it seems to mainly be soy sauce with a bit of black vinegar added.
