Hands down the best pho, bo kho, and banh mi I've ever had. I bring family and friends here, and always recommend them.

Today, I was craving banh mi and pho, so I researched places in Bothell and found one with good reviews. It was late afternoon and not busy. The food was good; I got the large portion instead of the small because it was only a $1 difference, so I figured I could take leftovers if needed. The meals were delicious--I especially loved the bread with pork. The service, however, was not as impressive. I was given a crumpled napkin and had to get another one, hoping it wasn't used. Then, as I was heading to the bathroom, the server remarked, "Oh, you're still here?" which was a bit odd. Despite this, I left a tip and had a yummy brunch. The surroundings were at least pleasant.

A decent place to get your pho and banh mi fix. My wife always orders the veggie pho with beef broth, and it's loaded with toppings. I get the flank steak pho but am always disappointed with the meat. I know it's not filet mignon but I usually don't even eat it because it's bland and chewy. Banh mi sandwiches come loaded with pork so that's always appreciated.

Good food! Ordered on Grub Hub and it was ready to go within 8 minutes! Avocado shake was so yummy! I'm just giving a 4 star because Grub Hub had me paying $26 but I had a coupon so it came out to be $15 after tip. Still pretty pricey for food + drink, even more if you get it delivered. I opted to pick it up. I'd come back again since it's near my house, but it is pretty pricey for the food. But I mean, get the bag!! Employees work hard here and were really nice :)

Clean and packed well! Large steak and brisket pho where half of it is on the stove.. It was $12 plus tax.

I finally returned after a long hiatus and am kicking myself that I stayed away so long. The pho here is DELISH. Like, really perfectly savory and aromatic and comforting. And clean. You know they care cuz there's no long, wispy, brown ends to the bean sprouts. I'll attach a pic of my takeout container so you can see for yourself, though, full disclosure, I had already put half of the goods in a pot to cook. Yay for delicious, authentic, non sweet broth!

    What is that.....

THIS IS THE TIME FOR RESTAURANTS TO BE EXTRA CAREFUL. I'm sorry if you love this place, but I made a company order at bamboo house and I'm an UNSATISFIED customer. I did not get the right amount of ordered food. And there was a bug in one of the soups. Will never order from your restaurant. I'm all about supporting neighborhood restaurants but this is no good. I also called to say that I'm missing my order, all the phone person did was say there was only one order. Don't fight with me.... find a solution to make the order right.... or get me my food! #mfhangry

kind of my last straw with this restaurant, i've been going here for years but it's gotten much worse with time. major prices increase, quality of food and quantity decrease. i've only been coming here to get the pho craving because it's close by my house. but it's gotten to the point i'd rather just drive an extra 5-10 min for good pho (good pho you). i've gotten to-go from here several times, and asked for uncooked noodles, they just don't do it. the noodles fall apart and i just ended it having to throw almost $20 for a bowl of pho away. today i got lemongrass chicken ($17) , i've shown two pictures. usually it comes with fish sauce and pickled vegetables. they have not been giving the fish sauce lately, so i've had to ask every time. but seems like they're just giving soggy rice now. also notice the color difference in chicken, ate it cause i was starving but it looked off.

    Not ok for $17 bucks.

This says a lot because I've been…read moreto highly rated ones in LA and in the bay, and Modoo Banjeom is comparable to those, and maybe even better. Reminds me of the ones I've had in Korea. We went for gan jjajang and brisket jjampong, which are not the standard ones that come in the combo meal with tang su yuk, but our server kindly made it into a combo meal. I think these special versions are definitely better than the standard ones which we've tried before here. So much more flavor! The price is quite reasonable and the service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was quite clean! If you're craving Korean Chinese food, I'd recommend here over the newer restaurants in the area.

I noticed that…read moreat 11:15, which is just 15 minutes after opening, that there were already four parties inside, including mine. When we had left just a few minutes shy of 12pm, the restaurant was full and there were a few parties waiting outside. The staff were very attentive and would immediately replenish our radish if we were low. The jjamppong and jjajangmyeon tasted fine, if anything the jjajangmyeon was a little sweet. The fried rice however (without the jjajang sauce) was pretty bland and a bit dry. I don't know if it's intentional because they give the sauce on the side but I'd like to have the rice taste good without the assistance of the sauce. Other than the bland and dry rice, my only other nitpick would be that the jjajangmyeon came out a lot later than the other dishes. Otherwise we paid around $117 (without tip), for five dishes and two appetizers, which I think is pretty good for this area.

It is our favorite restaurant when we are in the area. The new owners in Bothell is a family who are very nice too. The food is excellent, as is the service and ambiance. My favorite is the Bibim Bap in a hot stone bowl, although everything on the menu is delicious as well. I highly recommend this wonderful Korean restaurant located in Thrashers Corner next to O'Reilly's Auto Parts and The Dollar Store! Mr. and Mrs. Choi are the new owners. Such a delightful couple who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to assure you have an excellence experience!

Here's what we ordered: Beef Short Rib Stew: The broth was excellent and flavorful. However, the beef itself could have been more tender, as if it needed to be cooked a bit longer. Seafood Pancake: This was a highlight! It was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining soft on the inside and was packed with seafood. We really loved it. Squid Deopbap: This dish was also fantastic. It came with a great sauce and a generous amount of squid. All mixed together, it was a very rich and satisfying bowl. Overall, Korea House is one of the best Korean restaurants I've tried in the Seattle area. Their portion sizes are very generous.
