Went for the Seattle restaurant week menu. The food is just okay, i think at least in regards to the dumplings the dough are thicker than the usual. I did like their chicken but that's not really the main food here. They have some other flavors dumplings though like bulgogi. The service is pretty good though at least. The location only has street parking so take that into account.

First time here. We were a group of 4. We made reservations for Tuesday night at 4:30 pm, though not a lot of people dining. We had the XLB, really good with a good soup to dough ratio. The Shen Zhen Bao was good, as well, very tasty. We had the 1/2 duck. It had a great flavor, meat moist and not a lot of bones. The skin was crispy enough for the price it charges. Love the thin crepes. The Shanghai Green Beans were perfect. The Janjan Beef Roll was good, meat tender. The taste is not as rich as Peaceful Restaurant, but like that it's not too salty. The indoor space is not too big, but the "booths" have a private feel to it. No private parking, but was not a problem t park on the street. Service is professional and attentive. Richard the server was very friendly and made recommendations with the menu. Food is good. We'll be back.

First of all, 5 stars off the bat for our amazing, hilarious, and attentive waiter! He really made the experience amazing. We have been on a tour of noodles around the Seattle area and stumbled across this spot. Their feature dish is the lamen noodle, which is perfectly imperfect in texture and chewiness, so you know it's truly hand pulled. There are also some go tos that I get at every noodle house- sweet sour cucumber, fried green beans, xiao long bao, and green onion pancake- and all of them were fantastic. They have some sort of dumpling club, which I would totally join if I lived closer. Thanks for the great experience!

    Everything was so so good!

I came here on a weekday evening, and it wasn't too busy so it was quick and easy to get seated at a table. The service was good and everyone was nice. We ordered a few dishes to share, and I thought the food was alright but a bit pricey for the quality. The flavors were kind of there but I was letting wanting more. I did appreciate how many vegan options they had, and I liked the backstory. Unfortunately I just didn't enjoy the food as much as I was hoping to.

This is one of our favorite places, I can't believe I haven't reviewed them yet!! We first started going to the Wallingford location when we lived in the u district but now go to the Kirkland location. Absolutely delicious food all the time, kind staff, amazing owner!! Food is so full of flavor and technique. These are our staple orders, you can never go wrong with it!

Solid choice for modern Chinese food! Wasn't over priced especially during their happy hour. Service was fast. I enjoyed it

My parents and I came here on a Saturday afternoon and the inside had a good amount of customers. Although we got lucky with parking, I can see how the parking can be a little tricky- I would try the plaza directly behind the restaurant. We ordered the following: - Pork Onion Buns - Chili Beef Lamen - Chili Tofu Lamen - Chili Beef RN - Salt and Pepper Squid The buns were decent with a hot and savory pork filing. As for the Lamen's, the seasoning/flavor profile is all the same (the only difference is the topping and noodles). I really enjoyed the thick noodles- they were chewy and bouncy! My dad also enjoyed his noodles that were thinner than the ones I got. The beef was also very tender and flavorful which I enjoyed. As for the salt and pepper squid, it was hot and crispy with a good amount of the salt/pepper seasoning. The only complaint I have is that the batter for the salt and pepper was a little too thick for my liking. Overall, the food was yummy, the service was good, and the portions were also big. Not to mention, they had a pretty solid Happy Hour menu as well as vegetarian options. If you're looking for a good spot for Chinese food in Kirkland, Dumpling the Noodle is a pretty solid choice!

I was excited to try Dumpling the Noodle, but the flavors fell short to my expectations. We ordered a dry and soup noodle dish, green beans, and a meat pancake wrap. Since we spent enough, they added a free side of crab rangoons. Funnily enough, I liked the rangoons the best! We ordered mostly meat dishes, but the meat was pretty dry and one-dimensional in flavor. The noodles had a nice bite to them, but the broth was a bit bland and thin, and I wish it had more body to coat the mouth with flavor. Overall, I think this restaurant has potential, but I probably won't be back considering the many other great Chinese places on the Eastside.

"all time favorite" $65 serves 2-3

Came here for the first time during Seattle Restaurant Week with a reservation for two. We ordered the "All Time Favorite" ($65, serves 2-3) plus an extra side of steamed rice. Honestly, it's a solid deal for the variety and amount of food, a great intro to their menu if it's your first visit. My favorites: - pork onion buns: perfectly balanced bun-to-filling ratio, with a sweet onion flavor and crisp seared bottoms. So good! - garlic string beans (we swapped the sichuan dry-fried version for these and I highly recommend it): honestly, I might like them even better than DTF's - pork shrimp siu mai: juicy, snappy, and steamed perfectly The only miss for me was the pork and shrimp wontons in chili sauce, the "sauce" was actually straight chili oil, and it ended up feeling too oily for my taste. "All Time Favorite" was a solid choice with good portions, great variety, and perfect for getting a feel for what they do best.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner on a whim, and we were so pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent. Our favorites were seasoning fried chicken, pork shrimp siumai and pork shrimp wonton. The wontons had so much filling! They reminded me of the wonton we used to get in San Francisco in the 70s! Service was great too. The only downside was the dècor was really nice, but there were lots of cleaning bottles and napkins and such strewn about that it downgraded the ambience. We will be back again soon!

Food:3/5 Service:4/5 Ambiance :4/5 We tried dumplings and noodles. Dumplings were pretty decent. The noodle was sticky and hard. The meat was cooked well. Price and quantity were reasonable. The service was good. The ambiance was pretty decent. Parking is limited near the hotel

2025 Yelp 100 - #8 This location is about 10 minutes from Bellevue located on the corner with 2 hour parking out front. There is free 2 hour public parking available as well as a paid parking garage close by. Dumpling The Noodle is a fusion restaurant offering a variety of dumplings, noodles, and other favorites such as fried rice. My order Plain rice noodles for my kiddo. Chicken Fried Rice - this is a shareable dish Seasoned Fried Chicken Bites Steamed Chicken & Corn Dumpling - 6 Pan Fried Pork and Cabbage - 6 The food was fresh and delicious and the server was kind and attentive. The food was so tasty that I didn't get a chance to photograph the food. Ambiance A cozy restaurant with calm lighting with plenty of seating available.

First thing I noticed when I looked at the menu was that the prices are very LA, but before you let that deter you, hear me out: the portion sizes are significantly larger than what you'd get for the same price back home. So in terms of value, you're actually getting a much better deal out here in Redmond. One thing that genuinely caught me off guard; they let me bring my puppy. If you're from LA or the 626, you already know that's basically unheard of. Redmond, Washington is on a whole different level when it comes to being pet friendly, and I loved every second of it. As for the food, it was great overall. The mala wasn't too numbing, which I appreciated, it had just enough kick without overwhelming everything else. The garlic a-choy was perfect, honestly no notes. The braised pork belly was good but I wished it was a touch softer, and I personally felt like my dishes could've used a little more salt or soy sauce, but that's an easy fix and purely personal preference. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Sweet juicy shrimp meat paired with unique roasted tea scent, super flavorful and crunchy all around. A rustic Cantonese wok stir-fry: Sautéed Streaky Pork with Lyophyllum (Deer Antler Mushrooms). Lean-and-fat marbled pork is wok-fried to render aromatic lard, developing subtle caramelized sweetness. Dried deer antler mushrooms absorb meat gravy to deliver a distinctive springy, woody chewiness unique to this wild fungi. Whole garlic, spring onion and fresh red pepper introduce bright herbal and peppery accents, while restrained dark soy glaze unifies all components into a deeply umami-forward savory masterpiece, ideal pairing for plain steamed rice. From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.
