I came here by chance for a little me time. The location is safe and the business inside if clean and organized. They were able to take me in as a walk in on a Friday evening which was nice. I did a bubble pedi gel and normal deluxe mani with clear. I had asked for a built toe nail as I had destroyed mine after getting it smashed by video equipment at a concert She (I feel so bad I forgot her name)recommended I don't do that and try to let it grow out to save the integrity of the nail. I appreciated this information because she could have made extra by just doing that without client education and she didn't. They were fast and did a very clean job. My hands and feet feel refreshed. The woman doing my toes was very nice and carried a light conversation but also let me sit in silence and enjoy. With my services I paid 105$ after the discount of paying cash. It's been a few months since I came, but am finally getting a chance to leave my review. I was looking up a nail salon to try (and hopefully become a regular at). This popped up and had good reviews, so I booked online and was able to get in pretty quickly. I booked a gel mani/pedi, but once I get there, I decided I wanted to get a design done on my fingernails as well. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing - there's a small corner to wait if the place is full. I waited about 5 minutes after checking in before being called. I was situated at one of the pedicure stations and we were off to the races - in more ways than one. While I appreciate expertise resulting in quick work, I felt like I was being rushed through my experience here. My feet barely soaked before everything was done. My pedicure wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The gel polish looked decent, but there were some blotches, which I didn't notice until I checked them closer at home. I had an inspiration picture for my fingernails - the technician said she could do something similar, but not exactly like the picture. That was fine with me, as I wasn't looking to replicate it exactly anyway. When it was done, I liked the design she made because it wasn't bad. In fact, I left pretty happy with it. Someone who I assumed was the owner/manager was very attentive in asking if I was satisfied with the work today and I was - thinking that I had found a regular salon to come to. Once I got home, I noticed there was a small chip on my right pointer finger. I was sad, but my fault since I probably banged it on something while driving. Then I noticed some indentations on the polish, which was weird since gel was cured. The next day, one of my nails started lifting and within 5 days, pretty much all my nails had lifted. Bummer. Overall, I had a rushed experience and then nails that lifted within a week. Staff were friendly, but I think the volume of customers contributed to the quality of my time there and the end result. I loved bamboo for so long. I recommended some many friends here. I came in and got a new set, 3 days later a nail broke. I went to get it fixed, they fixed. 2 days later another nail broke, I called and the lady on the phone said "I don't have time to deal with you". So I came in, I was met with attitude and meanness. They proceeded to make me wait over 30 minutes to get my nails taken off. The entire time I was waiting they were talking bad about me to each other and the other customers. Save yourself the time, the heartache, and the money. Update: after an hour of waiting, they never took care of me. Update to the response to the owners: I have a recording of your techs talking bad at me. I also had someone on the phone who heard the entire thing. I did not demand. I also showed up to remove the nails and told I would be helped and than I wasn't. I left an hour later with nothing try again. It's also illegal to record a phone conversation without consent. The manicure was done by Paul. I was charged $60 even though the website lists it as $35 + $10 for french +$5 for gel removal still that is $50. No hand cream or extras were included. I had trimmed my nails myself in a rush before coming in because I was traveling, so they were uneven. I was surprised that he didn't file or shape them before starting the polish. I had to ask for cuticle trimming and filing, which he did after I mentioned it, but those are basic parts of a manicure and shouldn't need to be requested. The pedicure was done by Lana and she was wonderful. She charged as advertised and did a great job. I liked the salon overall, so I'll likely give it another chance next time. -updated from 4 star to 3: In the salon's reply, they mentioned this is their "standard procedure." If that's the case, then I honestly wouldn't recommend their services. Filing and proper prep aren't extras for a manicure or pedicure -- they're basic steps. Came in Wednesday evening for an acrylic gel set ($60 before tip). I didn't make an appointment because I didn't know when I was going to be available. Even though I had to wait to be seated the owner was so kind and accommodating. He was quick to offer me a drink and very apologetic about the wait. But I didn't mind I was just happy they could fit me in. My nail artist did a great job. He was very detail oriented and made sure my nails were all the same length. All my nails turned out even, smooth, and fully painted. I'm very happy with how my set turned out. I've been to this spot 3 times now and have been happy with every visit. I really want to give this new salon a good review,but my first experience is off the mark. This review is for a classic mani/pedi with my natural nail. My nail color was not fully covered. Pic shows 2nd coat not quite covering the 1st leaving a visible line by the cuticle. It's a common complaint from other customers. Also, no hot stone massage with the classic mani/pedi not the end of the world. I thought the salon is really clean and I like the light decor. Staff are all very friendly. Price is reasonable $55 not including tips for a classic mani/pedi is reasonable. Disappointing 1st experience though. I may give it another try perhaps not with the same person. read more

Despite if the negative reviews I decided to give them a chance because their other clients seem to really like them. Here's what went wrong: - Some of my nails were coated more times than others causing some nails to be darker than the rest - I asked if I can get my cuticles cleaned (as I thought this was part of it because it says it on their website but either way it's usually a default when you get a manicure) I was told it too late and there's no more time - I felt like they were rushing me. I had excess nail color in my fingers - My nails wasn't fully coated all the way I'm a bridesmaid for a wedding coming up and I'm embarrassed for my nails. Had an appointment with Kim (the owner), she came recommend by a friend and I made the appointment online with her. Once I checked in for my appointment, the lady that checked me in pointed to a chair. When I sat down, a guy came to do my nails. I insisted I came in for Kim and didn't want anyone else to do my nails. Then I get moved to Kim's chair and Kim was the lady that checked me in!!!! I should have left then but I didn't Got gel manicure and it looked fine, this was on Tuesday evening. By Thursday I noticed the puffing on multiple nails and by Friday all 5 fingers on my left (non-dominant hand) had significant level of chipping or pealing! Upon my second appointment, scheduled with Paul at 1pm, when I arrived I was told by the person at the counter that I had an appointment with Sofia instead of Paul, which was incorrect. I stated I would be open to having Sofia do my nails instead. Then, someone came up to me while I was waiting and told me that Sofia had an appointment with someone else at 1pm that wasn't me. That's why I told you I would come back later that day. The service done by Paul was rushed. He reiterated the reason he charged me $50 the time before was because my nails were not even. That was untrue. It seemed like a scheme to make more money. My nails were even and none were broken. He chose to apply a lot of acrylic powder and mold them back into their original shape. He then charged me $5 more. If he was going to do an upcharge he should have asked me before doing so. I appreciate your response, and the will to make it right. But after the dishonesty, wasted time and money I have reached my capacity, and don't think this is the best fit. _____ I made an appointment for the first time a couple of weeks go to get an acrylic fill with gel polish. While making the appointment I asked the person who took the call how much that would be and she told me it would be $45. It was also stated on their website that it would be $45 for this service, but I just wanted to make sure. When I arrived for my appointment I sat down and the man who did my nails was very kind and he took the time to clean io my nails. He accidentally knicked me while filing my nails but continued to apologize which was very sweet of him and after all, it was an accident! But the nail technician's other client came in around 1:45pm and he completely rushed the paint job! There were areas on my nails that weren't painted because they were missed. I called and talked to the owner and told them that I was charged $50 for a $45 service and confused as to why, so they gave me a $5 discount for when I came in next. I was very appreciative of this, and it seemed very professional, so I made another appointment with that same nail technician. When arriving at 1pm for my appointment they told me I had an appointment with someone named Sofia instead of the nail tech that I booked with. I told them I would be open to having Sofia do my nails, even though I was little confused about the whole situation. Then they told me Sofia had an appointment with someone else! So I knew something was off... I asked them if I could come back in later that day and have the nail tech I booked with. So that's what I did, and the service was okay. It wasn't great, it was rushed just like the time before, I got knicked with the drill twice, and the application for the nail polish was even worse than before. After he was done filing my nails and applying the acrylic powder I asked him if I should wash my hands and he told me - no, that I will do that after the gel polish has been applied. The nail polish was going on so uneven and bumpy! When done, I was not satisfied with my nails again, but chose to not say anything because it seems like a lost battle. The polish is so bumpy. As a first-time customer here, I found this nail salon to be a decent place to visit. The prices are affordable, the space is clean, and they didn't skip any steps. My nail tech was Le -- she did a great job removing my extended nails, giving a manicure, and changing the color. She also didn't try to upsell me; instead, she honestly said that my nails were fine with just gel and didn't need builder gel. If I were to rate this place, based on its ambience and the man running the place, I would give it five stars. The ambience is absolutely beautiful and the man running the place is so kind and thoughtful. However, unfortunately, I've had many experiences with one of the top nail techs there who repeatedly would not listen to me, would not speak to me, or would be rude, and would half ass doing my nails to the point that I would have to stay an hour longer longer to have her fix mistakes that she made because she wasn't listening to what I wanted, (even though I spoke very clearly to her and showed photos) I have to come back again every time I got my nails done. Every time I came into the salon, I would bring great energy and be very kind and try to talk and get to know the women and at times when I would get my nails done some of the ladies were nice, but they could not do a good job on my nails as I'm picky with my nail shape, or I would get a nail tech who could do a good job on my nails, but she would give me an attitude or she would just not do her best for whatever reason. I often felt an undertone of just wanting to do the bare minimum and get me out of there even though I was very kind towards everyone and I tipped them very well. I'm a woman of color so it made me feel like I was not valued based on who I am and that didn't make me feel good. I actually talked to one of the nail techs about this, and she was very rude and continued with the same behavior of just , doing the bare minimum and saying that she had made changes like putting polish on all of my nail instead of some of it so you could see my nail still, or shaping my nail correctly instead of half assing it. I'm sending photos here to show you how different the nail shapes were and how she tried to pass them off as if I was crazy. Some of the nails were almond shaped and some were pointy and she was trying to pass it off like it was the same shape... girl bye! Anyways, based on the principle of how they do not honor and respect their customers, I would not come here. There are plenty of nail salons that do appreciate their customers and if they did, I think this place would be booming with great business, but unfortunately, they need to focus on their customer service. read more
